Jak 3
 

Im a huge fan of last two jak games anyone looking foward to Jak 3 or thought jak 3 was good. (Even if It already came out I still don't have it.) Thankfully im getting it for my B-day

I played Jak 2 and really didn't like it that much, but I have high hopes for Jak 3 because I've heard that it's a lot better than Jak 2 was. I'll probably rent the game first before I buy it though because I have a lot of stuff on my christmas list and probably can't afford to buy it :(

Oh, that reminds me, I have to rent that game.
The new commercials are really funny. This definately looks like a game I could enjoy.

Hmmm... I never really liked any of the Jak games (actually, I didn't like none of the Ratchet and Clank games eiter ...).


BUT,
I could consider renting either Jak3 or R&C3.
I've read some pretty good reviews from both of the games...

I will definitely be purchasing Jak & Daxter 3! Being the last in the series, it reveals all the secrets that have lasted from the very first game. Not too mention it is suposably even better than Jak 2, which in my opinion is a difficult one to better.

After MO was moved from PS2, games like Ratchet/Clank and Jak are the only reason I play the darn thing. :p

I'm a big fan of the Jak games. I did think they made some of the areas in Jak 2 harder than they needed to, though. Some of the races through the city were frustrating as all hell. Granted these were things that you didn't really need to do but I'm a completeist and they really irked me.

The awesome thing about the races in Jak 2 was the smart AI. You see, I kept losing this one race. Finally, I found a shortcut where I could actually jump across a gap. It got me far enough ahead, that I won the race. My brother had a seperate game, and when he went to the same race, the AI racers were jumping across my gap

I think there is a light jak in jak 3 now too along with the dark jak, yippee!!!

One thing about the Jak series that I absolutely love. Where Ratchet and Clank lacks in plot, Jak rocks in plot!!

I agree completely. I get games because of their plot. Things such as graphics, handling, etc, come second. Which is one of the reasons I love Oddworld to death! As for Light and Dark Jak, from what I've read, Light Jak is a bit of a disappointment, as it can only be used at certain preset periods, and there are hardly any of them.

But I doubt I'll be let down, Jak & Daxter 3 is too awesome to be crap :p

The level at which you rock has just been raised considerably, in my opinion.

I'm not quite sure what your brother means. If he means the titles of the game, Daxter's name is left out of the last two games. Jak and Daxter 2 is just called Jak 2 and the third one is Jak 3. If he means Dax is left out of the gameplay itself, then he's wrong because I remember that there is a level in Jak 2 where you can play as Daxter.

I believe that Naughty Dog may have said this themselves, but I believe Daxter's name was left in J & D 1 because it was mainly about how Daxter got changed into the Ottsel and he and Jak were looking for Gol and Maya to try to change him back, so it was mostly about Dax's problem. Jak 2 and 3 are more about Jak: how he was tortured and how the torture changed him as a person.

Yeah, he's still hangin' w/ Jak. He is in 2 at least because I haven't played 3 yet, but from some of the screens and videos I've seen on Jak 3 it looks like he's still w/ Jak in that one,too. :)

Well, I haven't actually got the game yet, but it resolves the mystery behind the Precursors, as well as Gol and Maya. It also details what eco really is, and undoubtably, whatever else they haven't explained.

I just want to know what that bright green star in Jak & Daxter 1 was! I can't help but think it's something important.

Youre brother is right . I beleive in Jak 3 you have 2 companions . One is demon-like and daxter is basically your good consience . Depending on what you are you can ditch either one . So once I borrow the game . Buh-Bye Daxter .

Actually, from what I heard it dosnt explain what the precursors are at all. But I am a huuuge fan of the Jak series (completed Jak and Daxter this morning, only took a few hours, secret ending was pants though...) Jak and Daxter was an awesome platformer, if a little easy and short, Jak 2 was just one of THE BEST platformers I've ever played, the guns, the hover cars, the characters, the metal heads, and I'm hoping Jak 3 will be just the round off needed for this awesome series. And yes Daxter is still in it (duh) and so is Pecker, in parts. Apparantly its not as good as the second, but as long as it rocks, I dont care.

And yes there IS a Light Jak who can fly and heal himself etc. which will hopefully be better than the shite useless Dark Jak who I never used apart from on the Metal Head Leader.
