Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath Preview

GameSpot have released a brand new preview of the next Oddworld game. It includes a movie starring Lorne Lanning, Raymond Swanland and Erik Yeo, who all apparently give us an insight into the world of Stranger.

As stated in the preview, it seems that the name change was done for two reasons. One, to make sure that no copyright issues occur, which is very valid, I was wondering what they were going to do about it, especially seeing as stranger.com is already taken (a clear sign that more problems would arise, though it never struck me). And, two, because it does sound and look like the previous titles. Oh, and two-and-a-half, because Stranger unleases such wrath.

They also mention a Surgebug, which could be the ninth live ammo that was discussed in confusion recently. Either it's an existing ammo type, and GameSpot have got it wrong, or it replaces the darts. Sounds likes the darts to me: "The surgebug acts as a basic peashooter, letting you fire weak pulses of electricity (or a more-powerful charged shot)."

Also, I'm not entirely sure, but Abe Babe may have been indirectly mentioned! Take a look, it definitely sounds like Abe Babe:

According to Oddworld, one early tester who preferred the third-person gameplay to the shooting option managed to get a surprising number of hours into the game without ever dropping into first-person mode, relying entirely on melee attacks and jumping to combat enemies instead.

Edit, because we dont have a shoutbox; when I typed 'SW', it reminded me of star wars. Funny that.
The surgebug is the ammo forwhich you have an infinite amount that has green elctricitiy around it. We've seen it in vids and screens.

I would think Surgebug = Zappfly. Good find, Alcar.

Has anybody downloaded the interview? I'm no Gamespot subscribe member you see. Since we all like to collect every oddworld video, it would be nice to find a way to download it, instead of streaming it.
