Hey, depression is awesome. You can see things in a different perspective. Some of our greatest opservational comedians were depressing.

Hehe, welcome back.

Munch's Master 06-23-2005 10:48 AM

Well I'm a new-ish member so I didn't know you the last time but I'll welcome you back all the same, the more the merrier!

odd chick 06-23-2005 07:44 PM

Hey, sorry about your depression, misty. :( Sometimes I wonder if I have it too because I stay depressed a whole lot...maybe I need medication? I don't know....Anyway, still, it's good to see you back on here. :)

T-nex 06-24-2005 07:27 AM

Hmm... I'm depressed alot of times too, but it can't possibly be as bad as Misty since she needs medication...

It's just all of the "^_^" and the "yay" as well as the "boo hoo I'm so depressed"... I'm probably out of order here but it's just so cliche, and to be honest it makes me cringe every time I see it. The only things missing from this picture are constant referances to Final Fantasy characters, but we have Ina Yusha Sushi Tofu Whateveryamoto which I suppose is close enough.

The whole thing ... it's just... argh. It's pathetic. I find it so much easier to get along with people when they don't make annoying cliche overwhored stereotype crap their whole self parodying identity. I feel like a mean bastard now, but when I compare not posting this with posting and getting it off my chest, that "submit reply" button looks all the more inviting.

So please don't take this the wrong way. (even though you probably will)

T-nex 06-24-2005 06:58 PM

Umm... I don't really know which way take it...

Why is "^_^" and "yay" cliche... I like using it, so I'm using it. But the thing that puzzles me is how you can get so upset from so little things. *shrug* o well. I don't get it, sorry. You kind of confuse me...

misty 06-25-2005 02:18 AM

hey, thanks. this new med thing... its funny, the lable says "avoid sunlight" LOL. ahh, wow... I wonder what would happen if I was to go in the sunlight... would it be like a blade II scene *ponders and looks at the door... steps outside...* nope, its not burning me... not more than usual at least. *draws hand back into sleeve* hua. thats ghetto. psht, I dont like the light anyways. lol. ttyl all.

 That is wierd...I don't go out into the light, either. (That COULD explain the pale look of my skin. :D) It's not that I don't go out at all, it's just that I don't go out that much. There's really nothing to do where I live, so there's really no reason for me to go outside, that's all. ;)

Man, i'm just like that, i only like artifitual(sp?) light. i look so much like an albino...

misty 06-29-2005 02:47 PM

ha, who needs sunlight. recent studys show that its really bad for you anyways. So yea, its either smell like heavy sunscreen all the time, or just reframe from the situation entirely by sitting around all the time. ^_^ w00t.

Dino 06-29-2005 07:26 PM

Direct sunlight is harmful if you stay out in it for too long. But it's certainly not bad for you.

AquaticAmbi 06-29-2005 08:37 PM

Mmyep, your body actually needs sunlight to make vitamin D. I think it's the UV rays needed, in fact. Ironically, those are what can cause cancer. Stupid Catch-22s of nature...

But um, welcome back, my fellow pale person. :)

Dino 06-29-2005 09:50 PM

Apparantly there are over 100 different carcinogens that actually help prevent cancer at the same time, thereby counteracting their own carcinogens. One of those is the humble tomatoe.

T-nex 06-30-2005 05:54 AM

I've stopped worrying about cancer... There are so many things that can cause so many things, that if you worry about them all, you would be afraid of eating or doing anything...

misty 06-30-2005 09:05 AM

wow, I never really looked into the subject... thats alot of info. Thanks for sharing. I do wonder if I were to sit under my lizards uv-b lamp... would I be doing the same thing as going out side? hmm. I wonder if I could get a tan. lol.
P.S. this is my 100th post... woo... yea... :D

Yes... but that and the fact that the majority of these things which contain carcinogens, have never caused cancer.

One of the most popular ones is Marijuana. It's smoke contains carcinogens, but there has not been one recorded case of Marijuana related cancer in recorded medical history.

a flock of seagulls 06-30-2005 10:44 PM

I find that highly ironic, dino.
