Rape Charges Dropped.
I thought Kobe Bryant was guilty for a long time but it seems that the prosecution doesn't have the evidence or the balls to finish the job. Anyhow, I'm sure that the accuser will try to take Bryant for everything he has in a civil trial but by now the well is so poisoned against her and public perception so convinced that he is innocent that I don't see her winning much. If anything.

I heard that the prosecution had no evidence because the accuser changed her mind. Probably he paid her off.
That said, my sources are far from reliable. |
Just how big was that diamond ring?

I don't know what to think. I used to think Kobe was guilty...but it seems now, with apparent lack of evidence, that this accuser could just be looking for money.

Yep, Oddguy, its probably true. As I said before in a thread about lawsuits: If you start one and it doesn't pan out you should pay the defense bill or a fine, whatever is appropriate. Anyhow, do you think she'll get any cash in civil and if so how much?

This accuser's reputation is already ruined, so I imagine she'll try to get as much money as possible since she doesn't have anything to lose that she allready hasn't.
But here's the thing...Kobe made an incriminating statement when police interrogated him, but it wasn't able to be presented at trial because an attorney wasn't present(somethinglike that). That leads me to believe that he isn't as innocent as people might think. -oddguy |
seeing as everyone seems to think he's guilty as hell, you may be wrong. ;)
