New? Trailer!!!
Anyone seen this one today?
here is the source I got it from in the first place: http://www.gamer.nl/nieuws/23364 And here is the direct link to download it. http://www.gamershell.com/download_6816.shtml Dammit, I can only hear it, not see it. I tried it with divx, wmp, and quicktime. ARG, one last try, realplayer. I love Realplayer, IT WORKED. Btw, it is the same as with that interview playtest with lorne a few weeks back. But this time it is good quality :D |
you definatly earned a mention on OddBlog
it works fine with quicktime on my pc |
Its the best quality one so far. The graphics on those shots... especially on the overview of the village with the people milling around below... all very crisp this time around.
|
apparently it's available on gamespress too, exactly the same video
http://www.gamespress.com/artwork/te...GER_GBO_HI.mov each time I watch it I see new details! |
Amazing quality!! Good Job!!
|
I downloaded it and saw it in QuickTime with no problem. It's very jumpy because of my low RAM, but I went through it frame by frame: it is absolutely gorgeous. Well done erwinraaben. :)
One thing I noticed is the epeated use of birds. They're up in the sky when the Salamanders are looking down at Stranger, they're there again when we see the Natives from high above, they're scooting through the graveyard in two different shots... There is even a small fly that passes the camera before Stranger slams the wanted poster on the desk. However, I did notice that the Clakker does not actually hold the stamp: it is suspended magically on the feathers. *sigh* |
New quality, new stuff found
There are definatly vykkers' stuff in there: - Look at the handset for the telephone, it's exactly the same style as the vykkers' surgery tools - When you look at the door behind stranger after he pics up some "moolah?", where a character disapear (not sure of what creature it is) it is tipically the same style as inside vykkers lab. |
The creature has to be a clakker. You can see it's clakker head temporarily, as well as the back of his arm feathers.
|
the same trailers up in gamespot as well. looks like words getting round.
|
The fone (I'm assuming it will retain its spelling from AE) is simple to explain: Vykkers probably make fones. I offered some kind of waffley explanation in another thread as to the padded walls, that since the place is a jail, a certain amount of throwing around would be expected. It's not exactly a strong argument, but OWI must have put it there for a reason, as they couldn't just happen to plop it down there.
And the trailer is up in other places? Didn't the .txt file that come with the download say to report any other places that the trailer was downloadable from? EDIT: Re-reading it, I think they mean the GamerHell tagged ZIP file. |
to much coïncidence isn't coïnsidence anymore...
too much tibbits make me believe there will be some vykkers in the game, why did they made storyboards with vykers on them at the same place? I realy think one "bounty store" is held by a Vykkers, the one we saw in the storyboards, with a phone (or fone) and a special "wall"... |
There is, of course, the Vykker-esque flying vessel we saw attached to a wall in the Polygon Magazine article if you're looking for more coincidences. But I'm really going to keep an open mind on this issue and not bias my expectations either way. It could even be the walls are an in-joke as to how the Vykker was used in place of the Clakker (although I swear that as the Clakker leaves the room, there is a Vykker's head there).
Heh, it's like a conspiracy theory. |
