Hmmm. I'm not so sure. On the one hand, Oddworld-related smilies are a good thing - we are an Oddworld-based and -themed Forums after all. But, and this is a major concern of mine, smilies depicting farting, possession, gunfire... we really don't need those. Emoticons should be for reinforcing the mood and tone of a post, not the simple purpose of adding a cool animated pic.
But that is some good work there, caracal, though I haven't had time to look carefully at your gallery. |
Your pixel art is really good. Although like Xav said, make one as an example so we can see what they will be like. I'd like to add some Oddworld smilies ... as I think SS is doing Live Ammo ones as well.

I must say I agree with Max here, and I don't really see what's so wrong with the current smilies, and the fuzzles, that would mean we need MORE.
We already have tons dude, if we have too many, we'll end up with them never being used. |
hey all...I absolutley get your point =) I do hate when people start using a bunch of emoticons on top of the other and the page starts loading slow...and they dont really mean anything :p
I didnt think about doing stuff like abe chanting or anything like that...I was thinking of something more along the lines of an animated fuzzle with all the character it has in some pics I've seen(dont have xbox =/)...or...some glukkon evil laugh...maybe a slig viroting like in-game...whatever, I just thought that would be fun for all..I'm gonna do something and see how you like it |
