I mean, if even if she was using a bedpan the entire time she was on the couch, that would still require movement.

Plus, if her skin actually 'bonded' to the couch, then that would mean she was nude, or pretty damned close to it. And nobody wants to see a 600 pound woman nude, believe me.

Re: her skin bonding with the couch material; I doubt she would have had adequate clothing on. I don't want to sound crude or nasty here, but I should think there were enough bodily rolls for exposed skin to stay in contact with the fabric.
