The Buried Secret of M. Night Shyamalan!
http://www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/TV/0....ap/index.html
Well, I walked into my parents room and they were like, "Matthew! You have to see this creepy documentary on M. Night Shyamalan!" Well, I began watching and asked my parents if it was real. "Oh yeah, It's been heavily promoted!" Well, after about five minutes I could tell it was a mockumentary. It had people saying that M. Night was 'connected to the other side' and that he was hiding a 'dark secret.' It even went as far to say that the actors on his films were almost prisoners. Jonny Depp was even part of the act. Saying that M. Night wanted him to be the star of "Signs," but Depp declined after weird things began happening. It even said that Night's films were actually clues to his past and that they were more fact than fiction. Did anyone else see this? It was hillarious! -oddguy |
I wanted to see it so bad! FUCK! I knew I'd miss it!
*shoots self* |
Well I hadnt heard about this...but I do know that I will be seeing the Village when it comes out. Hopefully it doesnt disappoint.

What the hell are you talking about?

'Well, I walked into my parents room and they were like, "Matthew! You have to see this creepy documentary on M. Night Shyamalan!"'
If only that happened when i walked in my parents room...*Gets a flashback*...*Shudders* |
The documentary was pretty bangin', but the move sucks large furry goat nuts. Seriously, unless you are some type of psychological masochist don't pay 7+ bucks to view this "movie."
|
I thought the movie was pretty good. Seriously though, I don't think Night is ever going to top The Sixth Sense.

The movie is good. All of you shut up!
|
I saw the commercials for it but never watched it. I found out it was fake by reading about it on the internet while looking for information on the Village. The sad thing is I know how the movie ends without even seeing it.
|
Awww, Al, that's sad when that happens. I read something about the ending, and immediately made a pact to myself not to spoil it. Unbelievably, over here we've got about a month until it's released. A month! What do they do in that time? Dub it into "British?"
Anyway, I'm looking forward to The Village. It casts Siggourney Weaver *disregards spelling* in a horror film at aroundabout the same time as the next Alien film comes out, so I'm enjoying that irony. Slightly off-topic, but I've been trying to remember a hilarious site, where one of the things is a four-panel comic that completely rips the water from Signs. I remember one panel read: "I'm a six-foot alien with powerful legs that allow me to kick over cars and jump onto rooftops, but I can't for the life of me kick down this dilapidated wooden door," OWTTE. It also made fun of kids' drawings a lot. If anyone could locate this treaure trove of humour, I'd be most appreciative. |
I've seen the trailor for 'The Village' and it does look mightily good...
However, 'Sixth Sense' is a load of crap...well, maybe not, but it's soooo not what i thought it was going to be...disappointed i was, oh yes. |
