See if you can figure this out, and don't post the answer.

This version leaves out two things that you're allowed to know:
1. The answer is always even
2. The title is important

Huh, finally figured it out. Took me long enough! :p

Anyway, another important hint that helped me figure it out is...

The answer leans more towards creativity.

All you need is basic addition.

I hate puzzles. Feh, I can't figure it out. I have too short an attention CRAAAAB PEOPLE CRAAAAB PEOPLE!!!!

Wow. I got it after my 4th role.

I never would have got it if you didn't give the clue about the title. But knowing that it was easy.

What the hell was that?! It asked how many petals has a rose and I put in six and the first time I got it. What were all the numbers on the dice? What the **** is going on?!!!

I got it after a couple of goes, like most puzzles, it's very simple.

I didn't think it was that easy really... its a good method to determine whether you're a person who accepts things literally or has to complicate matters with lateral bullsh*t and try to reason things out believing them to be more lyered and difficult than they are...

I am the latter...

At first I just got really confused, but then I stopped & thought about it. And now it seems simple. :P

No really what was it?! I just thought that Roses have six petals and it told me I passed or some crap. EXPLAIN!

*****Basically, you add up all the dots on each dice which are around a centre dot. All dice without a centre dot are to be ignored.
If one of the trolls was a five, then you count the four surrounding the centre - add them all up, and you have the answer.
Hence the 'petals' around the 'rose'.
Another name for it is Stars around the moon, I believe.*****

Gee, thanks for ruining it for everybody who hasn't played it Esus.

And wow, I am amazed at how fast everybody is getting it on here - I showed it to like 20 other people and it took most of them over a half hour, some over an hour.

Took me almost 3 hours. I was trying all kinds of math methods until I realized how important the title was in solving the puzzle.

Most people had trouble with the answer, whereas I had the trouble with the question. I wonder what that means.
