What would you like to see in the book?
That's right, what would you like to see and read in the book?
I would love to have more info about who designed what, who rendered it and such... I would also like to see the skeletons of all the characters, magog propaganda posters, and tons of artwork and storyboards. It would also be nice to have additional info about how the game plots changed and evolved, also more bio about ceveral characters could be nice the enteprise aspect of oddworld itself could also be intresting, showing how inhabitants helped oddworld being as it is now. |

Well since it's an art book, I'd love to see the concept drawings - kind of before they were characters! What could have been!
Also - I agree, a little info about OWI and what it was when it started, compared to what it is now. I think that would be really awesome! |

Anyways, me, I'd pretty much love to see the same as Xav. Lots of little info tidbits (and it appears it will have that by this month's AIA.) , stories behind some of the artwork, what inspired them and just tons of stuff we haven't seen before. |

I would like to see the evoled conrcept of the characters, and never before seen charater's. I would also love eto see indoor and out envroments. I would also like to see diffrent way's of the same speice's. OW4 art. And last, i would like some info on how to make great charcters.
Also the Skelliton, blue print's will be good. I'l be doing lot's of portraite's :D I'm also bring it with me at school to look at. |

ooooooooh yeah! I'd also love to see a mixture of production art, computer graphics and gamescreens; along with tidbits of information about the company and timeline of character creation. ;) |
like Oddish, I want to see how characters developed. They said that Munch went through a few hundred iterations so I'd love to see a selection of those to see how he changed over time.

I want there to be a nice introduction by Lorne and Sherry with their accounts of how Oddworld got started. Next I'd like a history of Oddworld Inhabitants and the behind the scenes story of the Abe's Exoddus movie and details like that...with never known facts and such. Next...the art! A nice section would be called Abe's Oddysee. In this section they would show us how Abe was created and how he became everybody's favorite mudokon! Then, show us the best artwork from Abe Oddysee, with the artists commenting on their work in little boxes next to the pictures. Then an AE section...a MO section. Then a Misc section with abandoned ideas, marketing stuff, merchandise and great stuff like that. Also pictures of the entire staff that has worked for OWI...previous and current.

yeah, they always came up with good Inhabitant group photos at the end of each game.
Actually I always loved the closing credits of the Abe games cos they showed lots of production designs. And I loved trying to work out why they put a picture against a particular person's name (like aslik (I think; one of the glukkons at least) next to Lorne. |
Official info about Oddworld that finally clears up many loose ends and inconsitences. Like: What is the real reason Abe is blue? Where did the moon come from? That way Alf will have something to check before giving a new answer to an old question.
Lots of art of course. I don't want to see lots of logo's, just conceptual art and maybe a few hi-res pictures. |

I'd be content with just an art book, showcasing the best images from the last 10 years of OWI. But particularly I would like to see lots of unreleased production art. Maybe some information on the artwork would be nice too, like the "inspirations" that the piece came from and how it was concieved [like it's history].

You know you see the inhabitants as a hole, a photo of them. In AO, as buchers and so on.In Stranger i bet they'lll be all wearing hats, and in a big wanted poster.

I'd like to see the skeleton of a Mudokon, and a lot of other good pictures. The skeleton thing has been on my mind for a long time. I wanna see what they look like on the inside.

I'd like to see (like Xav said) all the Skeletons and anatomy of animals (I've only seen CG Muds skeleton and Concept sketch Elum skeleton, and a fan art Scrab skull) and all the posters and logos, and meat charts etc. I love the cartoony versions of creatures on their posters! eg. Gummy Slogs, Green Scrabs, etc. And I would love to see if they have any Sligs...also just loadsa art I've already seen from the first games, ooh and, unlikely as it is, maybe a few Stang etc. Y'know stuff that was going to be in the other games but was left out. And maybe high rendered pics of all the stranger cast...twould be cool...

Wasn't that the death sequence that supposed to be in one of the games (MO?). When Abe died in the game he was suppose to skelatize or something.
