How much time...
How much time takes from you to complete an OWI game? (or sg)
me: Ao: 2 days (I complete perfectly first 1 hour before) Ae: 8 hours |
It took me three days to finish MO. This year, I plan on beating it 50 more times!
AO: Watched my Dad beat it. Does that count? AE: Watched my Dad beat it. Does that count? |
No... Do you not beated the AO and the AE?
|
It took me 5 days to finish AO..yes, yes, i kno, i'm slow:)
|
I don't play incessantly, but I tend to complete them over a number of months.
Perhaps only a number of weeks if I play for many hours a day. |
It varies, depends how much effort I want to put in.
|
3 day's complete MO. I don't remeber how much time i play AO & AE.
|
I'll time myself next time I find myself with enough time. Is this taking Angelic Quarma into account, or just getting through the game?
|
Angelic Quarma...
|
eh...

Will... its imposible to beat AO in one hour... playing as fast as you can, it take's at least 10 min to get out of Rupture farms, then at least a nother 15 to get out of the stockyards, at least 50 minute's to get trough paramonia and scrabania, back trough the stockyards into RF...
What you did is NOT possible. EDIT: My record time's are: One week for AO (playing maybe half an hour to 45 min a day... on average) I belive two or three weeks for AE 1 week for MO... |
2 days for MO, I don't remember the other ones.

:
But Ae is true, my record 8 hours with angelic quarma. |
oh... :D Well be a little more clear then Will ya :)
|
Hmm definitly depends on how much time I have to dedicate to the game. I'd say within a week only playing a few hours after work. MO - I think I beat that in a weekend, going from Friday night and finishing Sunday night.
|
4 days to complete AO
6 days to complete AE 14 hours to complete MO I know i m not fast!! i have school work many!! |
I would really like OWI to include a "timer" in their games, so that you can see how long it's taken you. I really lose track of how much time I am playing a game and timers are a great way of viewing it. Almost all RPGs have timers in them, and there is no way I would have thought that I played 250 hours on FFX if it wasn't for the timer.
I think timers are great ideas for any game genre. Even for shorter games, you can "compete" against yourself to see if you can finish in a better time, etc. If you're reading this OWI, take this suggestion in mind! :) Abe Babe... |

But a timer in the Oddworld games would be a great idea! |
For me: no timers!
I hate 'racing' through games. I'm a lazy gamer. Lay back, enjoy the melodies, the scenery,... Mess around with your characters. I finished all 3 games in all 4 possibles ways, but it always cost me a lot of time. |

I dont know...
I only get an hour on the PS2 a day Only on WEEKENDS! ...stupid parents... |
Took me 2 weeks to save all muds on AE and finesh it.

|
I payed for my own ps2 so i get all the time in the world. lol.
|
AO and AE took me all summer the first time. I just got around to playing AE in a long time it took me two days. As for AO im geting it on PS and I will play it again when it comes. YES I GOT AO FOR PS ON EBAY I AM A HAPPY WERDO. as for munch I think 2 days but I can beat it in one day if I have the time to.
|
It takes me longer to beat AO than AE. AE has the quicksave feature and the ability to talk to more than one mudokon...where AO doesn't have either of these.
Oh...and I thought AO/AE had timers. When you look at your saved game, it shows you how much time you've played. At least, mine does. -oddguy  |
Hmmm ... I'll have to check that Oddguy ... I don't remember seeing a time, only the numbers of the levels.
