Some Devil May Cry fan-art, and a satire of my eptitude of said game. I rather like the first one, especially as it only took me three hours. I reckon I'm getting better with shading and highlighting. I only realised after nearly finishing it that since Ifrit (the flaming gauntlet) is alight, that means there is a light source in front of Dante and so I should have done the shading and highlighting with that in mind. Wollocks.

Speaking of Devil May Cry, I think I did a rather splendid job on the banner I made for a fansite I'm working on with a fellow geek: http://www.churchofdante.tk.

Much, much coolness. The faces on the "dragosaur" and "kissy fish" are somehow... disturbing. I think it's the eyes. But much coolness still! Your DMC (heh, DMC) drawings are hilarious, and extremely well done. Unfortunately, MSN is doubly evil, and even your revised linkage is defective on the first work. No Mr. Seagull for me.

In the Redwall series (I assume you're familiar with it, Teal), each animal has a distinctive way of talking. The river voles punctuate their statements with exclamations of "yiss-yiss!". So. Yeah.

I assume that the Redwall comment was directed at Teal, as I've never read any of the books and can't imagine why anyone would think I had done so.
