i know i do! how do these guys reproduce? have we decided that ultimately everything on oddworld has a queen or somethin?

Talking about evolution - and please, let's not start that creationism X evolutionism war again - take a look at the more complex animals on Earth(mammal, bird, reptile, amphibious and fish)they all have the same kind of reproductive system(well, there are little differences from species to species, but the overall concept is the same). that fact is an evidence of relationship, probably because they share the same ancestor.

Well, in Oddworld the same pattern probably can happen, meaning that all the more complex animals share a same distant ancestor that happened to have a reproductive system based on huge Queens.

Hey, I know that Oddworld is a videogame fictional universe, but things get more interesting if you put a lot of plausible, believable background info on it :D

And last, but not least, I believe that Vikkers have a Queen, as any sentient species on Oddworld.

Errrrrrrr... hum.... could say, the vykker in the reproduction moment have FOUR LEGS, not three :rolleyes: , you know?


Today a great part of the vykkers reproduction are produced in the vykker labs in a artificial and industrial form ( in vitro ), we have enormous vykkers ( and another races ) cultive fields (somethig like the Matrix human cultive fields) are much more faster,clean and of course...profitable.

Anyway, we, the vykkers are MAMMAL, you don´t see ours navels ?

that doesn't prove that you're mammals...that just proves that you had some kind of an umbilical cord...in fact, you seem to have 2 navals, mammals don't have 2!

I don't know about this one. But it would be a hilarious turn if Vykkers were normal male-female (whatever that's called) like humans. Why that'd be funny? I mean, all the prime time tv shows show docters and surgeons as witty, handsome, and charming. Vykkers are none of these. So maybe they're all lovesick geeks. Also it'd be funny if female Vykkers were incredibly beautiful (probably from plastic surgery).

Well, at least the really sound like old grandmothers to me...

Maybe the idea is the Vykkers tweaked their life stuff in the lab so they no longer need a specialized queen...

yea, I would say the concept of Vykkers being crated in LABS sounds very interesting...

if they were created in labs, how would they get the first vykker there?
