Munch's Exoddus and following gamez
 

This is a thread that will speculate wot will happen in ME or SO (Munch's Exoddus or Squeeks Odysee)So, u can post all ur idea's upon here. Up2 now i have only figured out wot ME may b about and not SO...So, i believe that ME will b about the Gabbit population under threat again due to the Vykkers re-capturing the race that has been re-entered to oddworld by Abe and Munch and they have to stop this happening for a 2nd time, thus breaching the Labs/Barracks etc etc 2 stop the chaos that may happen. Also does n e 1 kn0 how many endings they will be 2 MO as it wud b nice to have more than 2...possibly 4 or 5 to make the replay value more welcoming. N e wayz, post all idea's upon here!!

I personaly don't know anything about Munch's Exoddus plot.

All I heard about ME was just a comment by Paul O'Connor(Oddworld senior game designer) telling that we are going to know more about sligs and we will see them as we never have seen before.

I'm sure they will use the same A.L.I.V.E. 2 game engine of MO to make ME, as they did to Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus, with the A.L.I.V.E. engine.

I hope we will learn more about Queen Maggie, and maybe we will know something about the Slig queen, Skillia. I expect to see more of Mudokon native culture, and Gabbits habitats.

Well, about Squeek, I don't have a single clue of what are we going to see in this game.It will be very cool if Squeek come out to be a creature of flight.

Munch's Exoddus will focus on the disfunctional relationship between the Gabbits and Mudokons, and will also let us see many familiar Oddworld creatures in a new or better perspective, mainly the Sligs - expect a certain Slig Queen and a certain albino Slig larvae...

Squeek of Squeek's Oddysee is rumoured to be an insectoid creature, and I wouldn't mind betting he or she could fly. Squeek, accoarding to Lorne himself, is symbiotic, and the game will revolve around many symbiotic Oddworld species.

These things you said are only hypothesis, but I think if finally would be near to the real ideas that Lorne have, this will be GREAT...!!!!!! :)

The albino Slig larvae was meant to be in a bonus game called SligStorm (I think)... in which he had to escape the Slig birthing complex. The game concept was scrapped and more efforts directed towards Munch's Oddysee when the PlayStation 2 development came about (SligStorm was meant to be another 2D platform game).
However I have read nothing about this being actually incorporated into Munch's Exoddus... however there was a mention from Lorne somewhere where he said the concept could appear again in the future. So whether this will be in Munch's Exoddus or another future game, who knows.

As we all read on the booklet for Abe's Exoddus... the future games will see creatures that are overlooked in current games taking on a more important role in the future. Also we do not know if this refers to Sligs, Meeches, Fleeches, etc, etc.

SLIGSTROM??? Geese whats with the storm, its not even catchy it sux. Soulstorm isn't even odd thats why i hate it. I hope in ME they will have munch find all his gabbit freinds in hiding or something like that...

I remember reporting about SligStorm ages ago. I think it's an excellent idea. Who knows? Maybe it will pop up in one form or another.

Back to Squeek. I recall someone speculating that the Slurgs we have seen are only the larval form for another creature. They said perhaps Squeek is the fully formed version of a Slurg? I like the idea.

I always imagined that Big Face would have a bigger role in future games. We'll have to wait and see.

Heh heh, thanks Oddbodd, you just alleviated my anxiety I'd had about my raging Slig fetish.
You're right, though, I was disappointed to only see Big Face once in AE, and it looks like he'll be replaced by the Almighty Raisin in MO. But with Lorne, you can never be too sure...

i think that big face will have a small role in MO but i doubt he will be deleted with ALRA
