Who played the Mo GBA version?
I played... it was... good but very short and easy... who played, too?
|
I didn't play it...
Can you sum up the story please? Cause I probably won't ever play it |
I looked everywhere for it but it wasn't in any stores at all. After hearing some of the reviews I'm glad I didn't find it.
|
Not me, i don't have the money to buy, and it was'nt first in my Chrismas list. The game would be better if it were 2D, i think.
|
Yeah, it not so good... and I downloaded and played with an emulator... The story: The glukkons stealed the mudokon sacred treasure...
|
aow, can you tell me a little more about the "hill wind breaker"?
|
"hill wind breaker" uh... I thinking... it's hard... it's the flying machine that Abe and Munch use to get to Fort Glokz, the final scene...
|
aha, sounds intresting...
I wonder where I can find the whole scenario |
I downloaded with dc++... the emulator is from the net (Woooww!!!!) , I used the Visual Boy Advance....
|
okay thanx a bunch!
I will ask a friend to provide it to me :D |
I found it via http on some japanese rom site (they had the german and english versions). I only played the first level, but it's not as bad as the Oddworld Adventures, although the controls are kind of annoying (you have to be in the right spot to open spooce locks and it isn't really marked, for example).
Oh, and I'm sure I have a real copy of the game somewhere so I can legally download it... :D And yes, VisualBoy Advance is a good emulator, so you can save games and not have to remember the level passcodes |
Yeah... the controls... Hehh... I remember when I tried first to pick up a mudokon... It takes 10 minutes...
|
:
Can u provide me a website so i can download it cause i would like to see it. |
uhhh... the emulator? Just search in the net... the rom... Well it's hard to find in the net.... try a peer-to-peer software....
|
does someone care I make an article to sum up the whole game plot?
I think it shouldn't be too hard :p |
:
|
Ok... MAKE IT... DO IT... GET BACK TO WORK!!!! :) :) :D :D
|
Yeah, please refrain from discussing emulators and roms and the like. Even though Oddworld Inhabitants didn't develop the game, they still licensed the Oddworld unvierse out to the company that did. If you want to discuss things that are illegal, use a system where we can't publicly see it (like private messaging).
Alcar... |
true Alcar, okay i think I will do an article summing up each level, could be intresting for the ones who never played MO on GBA
|
Umm...No.

|
Yes, I know... I played again yesterday... Sorry...

I've played and completed the game. There are some interesting concepts in there, like moving/floating floors and elevators. I won't give too much away, but basically the ending (which I'm actually sure enough people know of by now) ties in to the beginning of the X-Factor video. Heh...
|
I bought the game the day it came out, and I typed up the story line onto the Forums, but that was on the old forums i think. I've lost the manual now and i can't remember most of the story.
|
I remember you posting the info, Nath, it certainly wasn't as long ago as the old Forums. The old server, definitely.
If anyone here wants the full story typed out, I may have to demand it goes into the Spoiler Forum. Seriously. |
makes me want to finish it...
ah, anyway I don't have enoug time right now I think I will do it and post it in the spoiler section |
:
The older server, that's what I meant. |
I wouldnt pay much attention to anything in GB games based on console games, they're usually just cheap spin offs.

Hi guys,
I buyed MO in a store in Holland. But in Uk i cant find this game but the most games are send from UK or america to holland. It is a real version!! But its short thats to bad. |
I've played it but didn't really like it. You could only posses the enemies that were on the same screen as you.
