Well.. I used to be Shinjara on the old boards and I've come back. Recently, I've gone back into Oddworld although I still havent played MO [due to lack of XBox!] It's good to be back, and to see some familiar faces!

By old boards, do you mean the EzBoard Oddworld Forums? There is a lot that has changed over the course of the forum's life, but too much to mention in a single post.

I kind of left after the move to these new boards I think. Either way, my memory is horrible! haha. I decided to come back and get involved again, i had fond memories of this board when i was here in the past.

Well I'm new here, but welcome back!

Well, alright, I know about the great OWF split and a bit about what happened after that (and everything before that, up to when I joined in December 2000 back on the old EzBoard), but not much else. I've been browsing through the archives lately, and haven't really seen anything that significant. . . Did I miss something? Maybe I should of asked the following question earlier:
Since the OWF split, has anything else really significant been going on here? You know, like major fights between forum members, people being banned, virus attacks, spam attacks or other drastic forum changes? Admittedly I haven't looked that hard through the archives, but still. . . Could someone enlighten me?

I noticed my accounts still here. But I emailled for my p/w as I'd forgotten it, and i got a p/w for another account I made (Mudokon Angel), i did want my Shinjara account back but i guessed i couldn't so i made this one. I'd love my Shinjara username though :\

I'm a bit late posting ... but I wanted to post because I was trying to remember where I knew your old username from. Then I remembered that I made a FFX banner for you at one time. Heh, I still have it ... actually, I still have all the old banners I make. I can't seem to part with them.

Actually, vB3 allows us to merge accounts, so if you do want your old account back, that can be arranged. Otherwise, you are free to keep the one you currently have.

Nothing as major as that. Just the usual conflicts between members, but that's always happening. Probably the only major thing was the server move we had. The old server that Pilot used to provide us with started to have problems [hackers likely, spammers using it to send email, etc] which made the forums run really badly and rogue images from my FF site used to replace images from the forum layout. As we couldn't get in contact with him to fix the problems ... we just moved.

I remember that banner. Banners and avatars, good ways to remember old members. Seems like I remember liking you. That's good;)
