Guys apperantly I think I know why OWI was not at E3 this year. Well at least I am suspectng why. It turns out that Stranger the next game OW4 is not comming out for this year but is schedualed for June 2005. Apparently the game stores were for awhile saying June this year but the date has changed to next year in 2005. And this is something bran new I heard from the gameing stores this past week. We can relax now because its going to be 2005 another year until release which makes more sense than this year. The good thing is my reserved reciept I picked up in April will still work. I asked them if it will work still through next year and they said yes we will call you. I said good and left.
So now wether this is true for 2005 I dunno but I am expecting it to be next year not this year. I am also suspecting its going to be on a different consol and not slated for X-Box. Maybe X-Box 2 or PS3 or perhaps something we never heard of yet. Based upon the information we all researched throughout the past few months like OWI left Microsoft, they currently don't have a publisher, They were not at E3 etc etc. I come to the conclusion that the game will put on something different and will be slated for next year. Which is intresting. |

The lead programmer said they were devlopping on Xbox right now, the specs of Xbox Next aren't out yet, so it can only be on Xbox 1. So that's just no for the "other console theory"... Owi said their next game will come out in 2004 and I bleive them... the best thing is: Wait and See... |
But why if OWI is finding a new publisher and left Microsoft should we assume it will still be on X-Box? That just doesn't make any sense.

Putting Stranger on a brand-new console does NOT make sense. The specs and development kits are not out for them, and OWI already signed the contract to be Xbox exclusive so PS3 and a Nintendo system are out.
The thing to expect is what they have been saying all along: December 2004. I think that is a hell of a lot more likely than June 05. |
They can't realease Stranger in 2005!? If thats true, wicth i think is not, then i takes 3 years to relaese game. More than a film. I you ask me thats nonsense.
They wern't at E3, but they did say they might snow Stranger in a diffrent place, not a populer as E3, but that's what the pubshier decides. We've been wainting for years for this game. Squeeks oddysee i think will be on PS3. |

Well I dunno what to believe now and I think for starters the official site will be a good place. But with all these people comming up with all this bullshit then I am going to wait until the comercial comes out or any advirtisement.

I really don't think they should be jumping around different consoles like a Wabbit on Speed. It would be annoying if 'Stranger' [or any of the OW] did come out on a diff console and not all of them, because i'd rather buy a console that has a lot of decent games on. Then buy one with OWI's and no other decent games. Yes.

Dude I am going to say this again its not a theory from the guys at the stores. They type the game in the computer and it says slated for June 2005.
And I am not going only to Funco Land. For the last time I am checking all over and everybody seems to be saying the same exact damm bullshit. What the hell is going on is what I am trying to figure out. But nobody seem to understand that here. |
For your theories: You know, these are getting old. Maybe if you didn't mention that your source was a clerk then people would actually pretend to give a rat's ass about what you're saying. I am just trying to state what the public is telling me. And its nothing but false. After reading the Oddchat thread I don't believe in this eather but this type of shit is being told and it should honestly be corrected. I am currently writeing Alf an e-mail about this and see what he has to say. I am also stateing that this info is extremely deceptive.
