Hi all,

sorry for this as I have only been able to go on the forum irregularly lately, but I was looking for the Oddworld Music topic that was on a few months ago, that had a lot of music to download. Is there anywhere that I can find the topic or has someone possibly uploaded it to their personal site that I can download it from?

is there anywhere where it is possible to get the music from the oddworld games - namely abe's oddysee or exoddus because thems the only ones i've got

not that i know of, you could ask Xav. Theres always "use yur imagination", which i cannot find the full version of...anywhere.

Xav (i'm sure he'll replie here), where can i find the full version of use yur imagination?

Hey Guys/girls..just wondering..is there an actual Soundtrack for the Oddworld games? or is this Just another Stupid Question?

Unfortunately there isn't as far as I know. But a few sound clips here and there can be found. I've actually got a looping sound file of the Monsaic Lines on my computer. Can be quite relaxing.

Although, there would be the CDs for 'Use Your Imagination' and 'Get Freaky' starring clips of Abe, Munch and other Oddworldian inhabitants.

Xav and I did post links to the soundtrack files, several months ago. Unfortunately, I gather they don't work anymore. They're hosted on TOE's old server, and I'm far too busy to sort everything out, especially since my FTP programs keep spazzing.

Alright, by the end of three weeks, I'll have uploaded the files to the new server and provided links to them and created a summary of all Oddworld 4 info. ;)

I know this link's been posted on Oddworld Forums before, but I didn't see it in this thread. The above hyperlink leads to the full Abe's Oddysee soundtrack, including the audio from the game's CG movies. They're all in easy-to-burn mp3 format, some of them quite long (Paramonia clocks in at ten minutes!).

This same website has Abe's Exoddus in their upcoming soundtrack list, but it's yet to be up for download... I check the website daily, so you folks can rest assured that I'll tell you when AE's music is available. I'll download it myself first, of course, before you punks swarm and kill the site's bandwidth...

I also recommend the soundtrack from FABLE, which is currently up for download there.

Is the cubedgz one actually ripped from the game?

If you have a mod for your Xbox, you can just read and copy each file then FTP them to your PC... ;)

I've never recommended the cubedgz version of Abe's Oddysee's soundtrack in anything other than PMs, because frankly I don't like it. The FMV rips are covered by Abe's narration, which is fine if that's what you're after, I guess. The level music, because it taken from the gameplay, in which it changes to suit the action, is largely vacant because creating suspence or action would cause sound effects to be included. There are actually also sound effects in some of the track.

Can someone please give me the track listing for Abe-a-Gogo? Do the tracks directly relate to the mp3s on OW.com (ie mp3 #1 = track 1)?

Also please tell me if I spelt "Abe-a-Gogo" correctly.

I'm putting them on my mp3 player and I want them labelled correctly, anal-retentive that I am.

ahum, the soundtrack is from a japan firm, and all the names are in japanese
so I can't realy transcribe, plus 2/3 of the track don't have a name...

oh, there is way more on the cd then on the site

Could you perhaps scan the back cover where it says the names? Me and my sister could translate...

If anyone remembers the one-hit-wonder 'Blue (Da Ba Dee)' by Eiffel 65, there is a song on their album called 'My Console' (It's a cool techno-ish song about playing their Playstation) in which they mention Oddworld. Here are the lyrics:

Perhaps Oddworld Inhabitants could release an official soundtrack CD with the games like Konami does with their Silent Hill games....
