im in 7th grade

I am finished with grades now, but I'm attending University.

I'm in 9:th grade and working my brains out. Stupid homework...

Tenth grade. Last year of compulsory schooling. I've already enrolled for two more years to complete my HSC however. Then there is University.

Actually, I'll be going to Columbus Institute of Art and Design (hopefully), where I'll (hopefully) have enough money to double major in Sequential Art (comics) and Interactive Game Design (hopefully). However, I'm f*cked up a creek as far as portfolios go...

Errrrm in the UK, we use years not Grade, so i'll be in year 10 now, the second to last year of compulsory schooling.....

Can someone explain how they work? I always wanted to know, because when I was a chatroom junkie everyone asked me that.
But I'm in Year 10.

I'm in Upper 5, the highest of the three years spent in the fifth form. In English state school jargon, that would make me Year 11, but I see no reason why I should use the state school system for anything. I've no idea what the equivalent Grade would be. It's the year where you start 15 but end 16. From what everyone else has said, I'm making an educated guess of 10th Grade.

Yes, this is my fourth year in high school. Could be my fifth, but I stayed the full four years at primary school.

Americans have 13 half-year terms of grade school, starting with Kindergarten. After Kindergarten, students enter 1st Grade, and then go on from there.

So I suppose I'm like year 12 in England... or something like that. I don't know... I didn't read very closely. How typically American. :p

I'm in 7th going on 1st. Lol, actually, despite that I tower over most kids and I look very scary to most children *considering I wear mainly black and red, and have multiple spiked bracelets and necklaces, not to mention the tips of my hair are blue* I am pretty much a 5 year old in a 12 year old body. Just add a bit of an intelligence boost ;)

The past two years so far I have had really good teachers. Highschool is so much better than junior high. The reason I do well in school besides doing what Im supposed to and trying hard, is I actually have teachers that know how to teach, thats what helps almost above anything else.

I am in 7th grade. And I get to play with a mechanical robot arm...

Hey thats intresting I was thinking on going there too. (scary!):eek: I don't live very far from there. at least two hours. But as soon as I graduate with my associates in Illustraition and production art I will be going for my bachalors at the University of Kent. and it will be an Art school. I am looking at three places Columbus Art, The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and Kent State University which is an awesome art school. A lot artist whome work in film came from Kent and thats my neighboring city which is five minutes from me. Dammit I live in the wrong place. I wish I was in CA then maybe I would be getting my job in film sooner. But hey thats ok I will most likely be moveing out there when I do get a job oppertunity in production eather that or New York or Florida and then go to CA. All I know is thats what my plan is.
