Even when I get old enough to legaly drink, I'm not going to. I find that beer is disgusting. I grew up next to a Budweiser plant, and I smelled and tasted bear every morning in the air. If this childhood experience hadn't occured, I probably wouldn't dislike beer so much.

Hey Oddguy, I know exactly how you feel, I've grown up living next to three pubs, and being 20, people are very surprised that I don't drink and that I think beer is disgusting.

I grew up next to a sewage treatment plant, so I find the smell of raw sewage to be disgusting, as well. (no, this is is true!) ;)

yeah, the drinking laws in the US are so bogus. 21 my arse, how can smoking and voting be 18, yet drinking be 21? it's not like it makes a difference! IF you really want to drink, you can get a beer at 16! dumb American politics.

in the UK you have to be 18 up to drink but everybody drinks at a young age too! and the parents dont give a crap

I'm 14 and i also find beer disguisting so when i am 21 i'm not drinking it.

Beer does taste disgusting. But it's not the taste you drink it for, is it Henna or anyone else? :p

I agree with you 100% on that. To much beer just makes you a bumbling idiot and you throw up afterwards. Not to mention that beer is smelly, so if you drink smell-you become smelly. Ooooh, how fun!:rolleyes: Of course, this is coming from a person who hasn't had a drink in his life. This is just what I observe. No offense to you drinkers out there.

I just turned 12 and am allready going deaf. When I'm 80 and have a hearing aid and am crapping my own pants, I can tell all my grandkids that i'm like this from whiping out on my BMX bike and blasting the Red Hot Chilly Peppers too much.
