Some people do...I mean for example: You and your grandma in a warehouse...a small dog..a terrier comes in and chases after you...your grandma...jumps 60 feet in the air and escapes...and Im left with the dog..and I can't move...Man that dream left brown bits n' my pants...It wasn't scary now...but in there...It was a B class horror movie...

Well,I had this one dream squid from rocket power was being chased byaguy witth a gn who wanted him dead.kinda werid

I have this dream where I'm ridding my bike at night in a parking with only one car. I run my bike into the car, and then I fly into the air like 50 feet. Then I bounce on the ground, get back on my bike and repeat the same process over and over 'till I wake up. Wierd!

Oi, don't even get me started on my wierd dreams... I have had so many messed up dreams that they run together and never make sense. Like the one where I was nearly eaten by a pteradactyl in the frozen foods section of my grandparents house. Somehow I escaped and ended up in a mad scientists lair, where dogs with antlers were being created. Somehow a t-rex ate my bus, saving me from evil cyborgs. I hid under a glass table and joined the men in black organization. Then my school threw olives and had a war which blew up the marshmallow house and all of my worst enemies.

And I didn't even mention the gremlins or the bike ride away from a giant worm or the space gladiotar battle or the haunted house or the bunny that got killed by a robot...

Yeah I've had some wierd dreams. I usually have cool powers and lots of beautiful female friends.

I have plenty of weird dreams. I remember them for like a day. Then I forget. For instance, I think I had a weird dream a couple days ago, but I cna't remember what it was. Plus, I hate how you always wake up when your dreaming. Fantasy horror dreams are better than waking up for school.

Just a question though, is it light or deep sleep that you dream in?

I have weird dreams all the time. And then I go to sleep....

I had a dream involving 5 members of the OWF plus myself last night. I won't sicken you with the details.

But I have had some weird dreams. Nothing totally strange or bizarre, but some pretty weird stuff. One time I was with a few friends from school and we were investigating a haunted house. First we had a tour of the massives grounds surrounding it, then we went inside and joined a party/bash/ball. When we were leaving the house (I should mention that this path, which is the same one we entered through, is identical to a path at school), the path was strewn with police-tape flapping in the wind, arcing over our heads, the sky was dark yet eerily illuminated, and there were spotlights on the haunted house.

Then I got an email from one of our group, Nick, who said the trip was okay, but that he didn't spot any ghosts or such spooky things. However, he did say that he noticed that, while the spotlights in the disco party appeared to be giving off light, you could see 'beams' coming from them, which didn't make sense considering the amount of particles (think smoke screen etc.) in the air. And that felt totally spooky and freaky.

He also told me he loved me, which was nice. :)

I have wierd dreams that run all togeter and make no sense whatsoever, but when you're dreaming...it seems perfectly normal.

I also have dreams where I visit places, but I get this eerie feeling I've been there before. Really strange. Like I'll be driving to this path high in some dusty mountains, and I know exactly where to go. Every turn. Or...I'll be traveling these complicated freeways.

This is, however, if I even remember my dreams whn I wake up. Most of the time, I do not remember my dreams. I recall them later when something links it to my mind...or if I get deja-vu.

I don't know what is about all this that scares me, but it does something to me.

this is a really weird one i had.

there is this massive spacestation and it is connected to Earth via a series of elevators. Aliens (from the movie) have killed everyone on the ship. Now, the G-man (from half-life) asked me and my mates to go up into the station and take 2 alien eggs. So i went up with my mates, i had a briefcase, and one of my mates had 2 pulse rifles (also from aliens) when we got up we went into the air vents, most of the station was flooded, so we got really wet in the airt vents. We came to a large ramp that went up, so my 3 friends went up (one of them now had the briefcase) but i stayed back and looked at the wall, with was made out of vines with large leaves at the end. These leaves started to glow orange, the they moved to show another ramp up, this on with grass and plants growing on it. I went up, and pulled out a knife (my vision was like the knife from opposing force) and cut some of these pumpkin shaped things which burst open, some had some of the Gauss ammo (Also from half-life) and then i was attacked by those dog things from half-life, but they were really small, so i pulled out a Guass (from now where) and killed them. I went back down the ramp to see me friends running "Eggs?" i said "We got 'em, but we woke her so run!" said one of my mates (the one with the pulse rifles) so we ran. We were being chased by a Queen alien, but she still had her egg sac attached to her, and she ran quite fast. We came to a place chest deep in water. I saw one of those yellow power suites from aliens, but i though "were in water, i'm never gonna be able to move in that thing" so we just ran. We came to an elevator, and there was no sighn of the queen, My mate pushed the button. Then the queen came, but we were to scared to notice the door open, then my mate pushed me in with the briefcase (now i have it?) and then he jumped in. But my other to friends were to late, and the doors closed, and i persume they were killed by the queen. i said "dont worry, they did what they had to do" to my friend. When we got out of the elevator we were in the middle of a supermarket, i gave to case to the G-man and we walked by and isle with tons of sweets on it. "so...got any money?" i said "yup" my friend said.

and then i woke up.

What an interesting dream feril, but I don't think anyone can beat the weird dreams I have. Let me explain.

The first one was about star wars. Although i'm not a huge fan of star wars and i've never actually seen them all proberly, I still dreamt about it.
Me and aload of other people, (people I don't know) were on a space ship going to the death star. When we got there a few of us got teleported in then we sepperated to find some weapons. I found a little room which had a box inside, and when I looked in the box there was aload of food, and a light sabre. I picked the light sabre up and turned it on to see if it worked, and as it shot out, I noticed it had a lazer coming out from it and when I pressed another button on it, it could fire.
As I put the sabre in my pocket and left the room, Darth vader stood behind me holding his light sabre, as I took mine out, we started fighting, then I got pushed down a big hole that was there, then I woke up.

Another dream I had was about me walking throught this field that's just behind my house, I was accompanied with this half human half goat (she didn't have four legs or anything, she just had two legs which were like goats legs), and as we were walking she was telling me about this mission I had to do. But I don't remember what she said, I can just remember walking and talking with here.

I have alot of wierd dreams, but this one is sticking in my mind...I was at the park, swinging on the swings, and a kid walks right in front of me! I kick it(I can't remember if it was a boy or girl) and it flys across the whole park, and then when it finally lands, it just gets up and runs away. I remember running from the police in that dream, but I can't remember how it came it. Oh well.

Yes I could say I've had some weird ones. But the ones I hate the most are ones where I try to run but I end up going slower than when I try to walk. Luckily there are always power poles to hide behind so relatives driving cars at me can't hit me.

:eek: I get those ones all the time! I also have dreams where someone is arguing with me and I have really good comebacks, but I can't get the words out.:fuzemb: It leaves me feeling so helpless.

What's even worse is when you're being attacked or something and try to scream for help, but no matter how hard you push, no matter how hard you try, no sound comes out. *shudders* I hate those...

I tried to scream so hard in my dream one time, that I ended up screaming in real life and woke my whole family up. Scary!:eek:

I can only remember one nightmare I had, which has occured multiple times, but the time inbetween each recurrance is far. It's the dream where you are falling down a cliff, wake up suddenly, and actually feel like you've been falling and hit the ground, yet you're still on your bed.

I don't know if I've had any other nightmares, or I don't recall them. The same with my dreams, I hardly remember any at all, if that is, I have any :p

You want here a bizzar dream I had once? I mean this dream was desturbing.

I found myself walking in like an ancient Egyption city. It was cloudy outside the city was deserted. I then approched this huge pyramid with sort of like a huge black hole or portal floating above it. Suddenly its started to rain and guess what came hopping down the side of the Pyramid? Thousand 10's of thousands of frogs just came out of nowhere and just started comeing off the pyramid. Then I turn and see woman dancing nude. After that I woke up and threw water on my face to get a grip. That was one hell of crazy dream. I had other wierd dreams where everybody around me had pulsateing eyes like bugeyes. You ever see Who Framed Roger Rabbit? well the eyes looked just like the judges eyes with the swirls and stuff.


Everyone was sort of following me stareing at me and then I went into a tornado and then I woke up. The one thing I hate is when your haveing a dream and you think its real and then you wake up and realise it was a dream. Then you want to go back but you can't.

I learned that dreams always occure just before you wake up.

That happens to me all the time! And I have bruses afterward! What's up with that?

When I was like 5, I had this dream that behind my neighbors house across the street, there was a volcano! I can't remember what was going on exactly, but I remember dying! It was so sad! :crying: And when I woke up, I looked out my window, and there was nothing. It seemed so real at the time.

And ya know what? Most people don't actualy die in there dreams, they wake up before they die, but I see myself die, look at my dead body for what seems like forever, and then wake up! I don't get it. :fuzconf:

Ya know when in real life your saving up for something, but you don't have enough money? I hate it when I dream that somebody gave me the money to buy it. Then I get all dissapointed!

I don't often dream of falling, but whenever I have a nightmare and I wake up, I get the falling/landing feeling just after I've woken up. I did used to have a very regular dream about flying down the stairs, though.

Oh God Grig, you've reminded me of one bad ass nightmare I had. http://www.oddworldforums.net/forums...ies/crying.gif I can't remember exactly when I had it (PS: I assumed I'd had it when Miss Whitehead was still at school, but I'm pretty sure now I had it not all too long after the World Trade Centre collapsed), but I was walking down the path that runs alongside the Cathedral and leads to the Old Bishop's Palace at school, and I said hello to a Miss Whitehead, a physics teacher who has left now, then just as I was passing through the area where one of the caretakers parks his car, I hear a helicopter flying overhead, and it drops an atomic bombs. And the bomb drops. Boom. Wake up scared shitless.

I spent the rest of the night trying to dream about it again, but lucidly, so I could evacuate Norwich and get everyone to safety. Not so much a weird dream, but a nightmare I thought I'd share.

I usually don't remember my dreams, but I've had several where FF features somehow. ^^; I'm a little obsessed.

Sorry I awakened the horrible nightmare rememberance for you. I constantly have dreams about world destruction! It's all horrible! With the bombs exploding around you and everyone's screaming, and your trying to save them... And I sometimes have dreams where i'm fighting a war, and everyone is dead all around me, and there are 15 people trying to take me captive! I't so scary! I never want to feel that helpless in real life!

Anyway, off the deppressing subject. Anybody have dreams where they're flying like in crouching tiger hidden dragon? Those dreams are so wierd!

I dream about weird stuff alright. Once I dreamt we won millions on the lottery, and my dad spent all the money on fake atomic bombs filled with raspberry jam that he could drop on Iraq. And another time I dreamt that everyone in the whole world was mad with me, so the whole day I tried to make it up to everyone... I felt like an idiot when I realized it was a dream...:fuzemb:

I'm writting a novel from a dream I had once. Of course, I've improved on the story. Did you guys know that "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" was actually dreamed by Robert Louis Stephenson?

Anyway, I have that falling dream and when I wake up all my muscles are sore! Do any of you guys have dreams where you're flying? I love those ones!:D

I've just remembered a dream from a day or two ago.
I was making cheese rolls for someone famous (don't know who, possibly fictional) and I buttered the top of them, but I forgot to put the cheese in the middle. They didn't seem to mind, or were to polite to say anything.

I find that usually when i wake up and memorise a dream, I try and remember it, but then it just dissapears from my brain!
I do remember that (after watching the film, THE SIGNS) That aliens were invading the earth and they set fire to my house and I walked out angrily (despite the fact that my house was on fire, i wasn't even choking) and shout ed GO AWAY at them and they abducted me and i somehow crashed all there ships in to the ground.

The other dream i remember was just after my Mum forced me to go to these extra work maths classes when everyone else got a deay off. Afterwards i dreamt that I had to go to these classes and i got to school which had somehow turned in to a ruined castle! Inside was a dragon that had got all the teachers helping him catch all the kids. He got us all doing triagnometry (shudder) and chose the one of us who was doing best and ate him. Then all the other kids showed up for school (despite there day off) and I tried to warn them about the dragon but they all came in anyway. They saw this dragon and all started doing things to impress him. He chose which was the best entertainer and ate him. Then he held us all prisoners and in the evening this girl tried dancing to buy her freedom. He liked her dancing and ate her. We stayed there over night and I can't really remember the rest. I think I worked out how to kill him from a book I'd read but he chose me to eat next. Then either me or this other guy killed him and saved everyone and fed Miss Derby (the most evil teacher in the school) to him (despite his being dead.) Then we all went to the fish and chip shop (chippie) before the bell went and i walked out of school with my best bud.

And that's about it.
Oh and ferill, i think you need to cut down on the horror films!

Apparently (I could be wrong!) dreaming is the time where your brain takes everything that has happened in the past day (or time you last slept) and sorts it accordingly. Dreams are a mixture of the things occuring in your life at the time, as well as a mixture of things that have happened in the past, as well as far-out whacky stuff that'll never happen (IE: What you'd like to happen ;)).

The reason I never have any dreams: I do nothing but eat and talk :p

Hello everyone. I am always having weird dreams. I cannot really explain them, because they are very weird. Like things happen in them that does not happen in the real world. Like climbing a ladder to the sky and things like that.

When I have a dream, and I wake up...sometimes i forget what it was.

I get dragged away by thinking about other things my dirty mind can conjure up :eek:

My "good" dreams are almost always sex, art, or video game related in some way. Shows you what I think about...

I have some dreams that include amazing fantasy architecture that I could never imagine while I was awake. Whenever I have one of these, I'll always try my best to document what I saw for future (aritistic) reference, whether it be in my head or some scribbles on paper.

For example, I remember a fragment of a dream that contained my room... only different. Everything had a strange oriental feel to it, and most things were covered in red velvet (or something like it). There was a large, arched window looking out onto a dark landscape with constant lightning strikes in the background (the room seemed to be "floating" now that I think about it). The most distinct element of the room was the fireplace in front of my bed which was made of treated wood and some kind of black/gray stone. The mantle formed the head and neck of a giant abstract dragon which jutted out from the wall and loomed over the bed. Very bizarre. A remembered the dream as "Dragon Room."

Another more recent dream included my family (I think...), my girlfriend, and I (maybe?) in a post-apocolyptic 28 Days Later/Silent Hill kind of world, with great ruined buildings, a late evening sky, and a dark, yet familiar looking forest leading down to a lake. I never could have come up with something so detailed while awake. Bizarre...

I have never had a dream i just go to bed see nothing for it feels like 5 seconds and then wake up. It's probably because I only have two emotions Love and sadness. Hence the nothingness.:fuzemb:

Those are probably the two most dream-contributing emotions but okay.

I hate it when something really bad happens to me in dreams, and I am absolutely "frozen" in the dream. Either that or I ever so slowly try to fight back, but always fail. Then I wake up so infuriated and lay a few fisticuffs into my pillow...

I also take at least 30 mins to get to sleep, I just lie there with my eyes closed.

I have all these weird sick dreams nobody can even think about.
But i have these one really weird dream, i'm walking in this shanty town. Then i arrive in this hall, in front me is this gigantic pillar of marble... its white... anyways there is a whole choir of people singing on top of the pillar of marble. Then they got wings and flew away, as did i.... but its not as good as those dreams i have of monica :p

That was me quite a while ago. That was until I realised I could drown myself to sleep with loud music :)
