What's your dream car?

What's you dream car? If you had an infinate amount of monet to buy a car, what would it be?

Mine are: Acura NSX and Chevy Avalance! Those cars are so cool!

Al the Vykker 08-24-2003 05:20 PM

My dream car that I would like to own one day is the 1980-1985 Delorean.

For reference the delorean was the car that was modified as a time machine in the Back to the Future Movies.

Ive just always liked that car, and I hope I will be able to own it some day.

Heres some reference pictures.

My all time fav car is a 69 Porsche!

I love small cars and this is what I will get one day. Oh yes I will get a 69 Porsche. Once I get one I will turn it into a convirtable and make it look like a race car.

DeLorean=King of awesomness.

I love this car only if I could affordit.:(

Nice car Abe16! No need to put, "If I could only afford it." This is a thread of wishful thinking...I don't think anyone of us replying to this thread has enough money to buy their dream cars! But someday everyone will be able to purchase their "Dream Car"...hopefully!:D I hope my words have inspired you to do something in your life to be able to buy that special car of your dreams!

OANST 08-24-2003 10:19 PM

I think I could afford my escort.

Majic 08-24-2003 10:42 PM

I do like the Acura NSX and the Nissan Skyline GT-R, but both are quite expensive.

The Tuscan Speed 6 though, whoo. My car. Especially with the paint job where it changes color in the sun.

My other pic would have to be an Sti Impreza WRX. Its not super expensive, super fast, etc... but I love it to death. As a side note, I got quite aquainted with all of the above with Gran Turismo 2.

For something more pratical, I suppose a Trans Am with T tops or a Corvette with similar would be quite alright.

oddguy 08-24-2003 10:54 PM

I love that paint that changes in the sun! The secret is a layer of liquified pearls in the paint, then you add the next color, then the pearl paint, then the next color etc......... Very expensive! That's why I would probably have a racing stripe that changes color and the rest of my car would be a regular color.:fuzwink:

Abe16 08-24-2003 11:27 PM

Wow! Really! thanks Grig!

Dude are you being sarcastic? I love old cars my brother has a Voltswagon Bug that when he baught it, it was only the frame. within two years of work he completely turned it into a bran new car. He made it look just like Herby you know from the movie The Love Bug. He actually put raceing stripes and the number 59 on the sides. Its like bran new and it runs perfectly. Its white with blue stripes and the number 59 on the sides. Old cars are awesome. If I had a 1969 Porsche I would make it into something amazeing. You know how much those cars are worth nowadays? More than you can afford I bet!

fleech 08-25-2003 03:16 AM

i had a '66 mustang that i let go back in '73 for almost nothing because i blew the engine - i shouldv'e kept that car - it was loaded - if i could have any car i want right now it would be almost exactly like that one, only a convertable this time, with a pretty redhead in the front seat....

GrigtheSlig 08-25-2003 04:40 AM

I like both old and new cars! I'm just gonna get a new car, so I don't have to do anything to it when I get it! Anyway, what do you guys think about the Water fueled cars? I think if I could, i'd put a water engine in both of my dream cars, considering they both kinda guzzle gas! Well, the Alalanche gets 14mpg in the city and 18mpg on the highway, so that's not too bad, I just don't have an infinate amount of money. But you know what they say, "If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything!"

Cloverfield 08-25-2003 06:47 AM

A old bomb that falls apart whenever you touch it.

I don't really know a lot about cars ... so I can't really give a model or a picture. But something small and sporty. Maybe a Porsche, Jaguar or Mercedes. With some luxury features and black in color. And definately convertible!

Abe Babe...

Check out the cars on this site. They're so Bond-like!

I was simply amusing myself at the year number:p 69?

O yes, adn how could I have forgotten. A Vanquish would be right cool also. *crools*

Facsimile 08-26-2003 02:39 AM

Lol, Majic. I think that one went way over PA's head. Sadly.

What's with everyone and old cars? I hate old cars.
My dream car would easily be a GTO Twinturbo. Basically any GTO but I'd rather it be Twinturbo.
Ferrari F50s would be my second favourite.

paramiteabe 08-26-2003 03:01 AM

No I got it

Don't mean to sound like I am tooting my own horn, but I already own my dream car.

The Toyota Supra GT. It's a REAL car. I can outrun pretty much any police car in most countries with my baby!

If this one doesnt work then this should:

It's a beast!!!

Al the Vykker 08-26-2003 08:20 PM

Allright! Man I probably wouldnt mind driving around the one that was used in the movie. For some reason, Ive just always liked that car. Plus the doors opening up the way they do it had this nice futuristic touch to it.

*I wish hover conversions were real*

GrigtheSlig 08-26-2003 10:15 PM

If someone gave it to me for free i'd drive it, but the doors are like car hoods! But it was a perfect car for Back to the Future!

Codek 08-26-2003 10:22 PM

The delorian looks ugly, boxy, old and slow. My Supra GT looks smooth, futuristic, fast and powerful. The Lamborghini Mercialago has gullwing doors, and that looks waaay better than the delorian, so why insist on preferring such an old and out dated car?

GrigtheSlig 08-26-2003 10:50 PM

I don't prefure The Delorean either. I'd rather have a Lamborgini any day! But what I really want is a Chevy Avalanche. I was wondering, has anyone tried the "Gas Saving Tornado"? I was just seeing what would get my dream car better gas mileage and that came up as one of the thngs that could to that...so if you've tried it, please tell me what you think!

Naturally, the Lambo is a better car. Butst you must admit, a Delorean has much more novelty value, and is quite classic due to its protrayal in Back To The Future. Had it not been there, no one would even know about it. Use some sense, boy.

EDIT: Forgot to add in a spiteful comment;) Can't have a rebuting post without a spite comment. What makes that Supra so good, anyways? A Speed 6 by far outpreforms it, and must say, looks much better also.

Codek 08-27-2003 12:05 AM

I don't like a car because it's a classic. I like a car because it looks good and is POWERFUL! Power, good looks, speed, are all parts of what a good supercar should be built on.

Just because a car features in a movie, doesn't automatically make it great. The car is ugly, it is outdated now, and there are better cars. I just can't understand people that like cars that they don't even like.

"Hey, I love the car cause it's classic, but it's crap cause it's ugly" Make up your mind boy!

Majic 08-27-2003 12:15 AM

Again, tahts your personal preference:p Some people make like a car for novelty value, like some collectors. For isntance, some people like to collect Mustangs. Heck, those suck for what you pay, yet people like them for the Novelty value of them being a turning type point for older American cars.

*drools* I'd love to have a car like that! Is that a pic of your actuall car? If so, orange all the way baby! My dream car is orange!:D

Codek 08-27-2003 12:31 AM

Yeah, I guess some people just fall in love with a certain shape of a car.

You're right, the mustang does suck. So much unused power. I would never drive a pissy little shopping runabout. For me it's either the drive of my life, or nothing.

oddguy 08-27-2003 12:42 AM

Never driven a mustang.....I just like the way it looks.
