Ok i got permission from a couple Mods do make this thread once i reached four stars... well here it is, a music and movies request thread. i'll try as hard as i can to meet your demands, but i cant promise everything, if i am unable to reply to a request i will direct you to a site or forumer that can help.

So, what do you do? Do you provide the movies or do you make them?

movies: clips, gameplay, fmvs, etc.
music: well duh...

Do you have the gameclip of MO before Xbox, when the bb-slig says YO!?

you mean where he shoots a bunch of sligs with a blitzpacker? if so then no....Xavier posted a link where you can get it, Hey xav would you mind posting that again? and my cartoon is going fine...i'll post some animation gifs of it in the FC sometime.

The Interns' Groove is the name of that music. It's in Alf's Comoddities, but since all my emails are on a computer I no longer have, I don't know how to get there.

How do you get Oddworld in-game music? All I have is the MP3s from Alf's Fanclub thing. I love Oddworld music almost as much as I love FF music, so I'd love to be able to listen to it in my playlist, but I've never seen it on CD and have no idea how to extract it from the game.

Darn, I just tried two methods (which I thought were highly ingenious) but I can't convert it to mp3. How'd you do that? You don't need special software, do you?

EDIT: Looking through this topic, and my three problems, would almost make you think my computer is poor, wouldn't it?

Max, I suggest you to use MusicMatch... it is pretty good for converting wav to mp3

the theme music from the Bonewerkz please. (finally, some Oddworld music is available!) thanks for the FeeCo Depot music by the way. I think everyone would appreciate it if you could post links to music files from the in game music of Oddworld. I mean, if it isn't too much trouble. :fuzsmile:

Although Max's question has been answered already, I just use the software that comes with my CD burner ... Nero. It has a Wav Editor in there. So you open up the Wav file and then go to File -> Save As and choose Mp3. ;)

Ah damn! Oh well, as long as you eventually post up all the Oddworld music for us, it doesn't really matter that I don't know how to do it.

Sorry dudes. I always thought movies meant "motion pictures". A gif movie is an animated series of "pictures" in "motion". Do ya get what I'm saying?

correct me if I'm wrong, but you record the music dirrectly from the game, no? I mean you don't extract the music files with some programs...

I say this because you can hear the sligs walking in your last .wav file, and it isn't probably in the original music track

they are extracted from the PC games using "certain" programs...nothing illegal though:eek: but there are ways to pull the music out away from the sound files like slig legs...i did that for Feeco music originally you could hear a chant surpressor in the background but i used the programs to delete the wav files...i was just too lazy to do that for Sligbarracks aswell, if nyone wants to use the actual music i can delete the slig legs in the background

No problem... but it's kinda strange that the additionals sounds (chant suppresors, slig legs) are a part of the bagground music.

anyway is it possible to extract only the bagground music with some progrmas?

yes, i was just too lazy to do so with the Sligbarracks because it takes a big long process, rendering, timing...the whole 9 and a half yards.
