finally i have got a good story that i'll work hard on, this does mean a longer wait for thw wildfire saga though.


the year is 2013, a huge corporation called "spiral" will be developing for the military for the next 100 years. A huge double domed city has been built by the corporation, for the employes and experiments to be housed in, the entire city is run by an AI, called Dean. Dean is a very smart computer, smarter then most humans, which scared most of the corporation, so they desperatly tried to shut Dean down. Dean defended himself, by closing the city and releasing all of its biological experiments on the citizens. Dean then began building more artificial computers like itself. A elite 5 man special forces team, and 3 black operatives are en-ruit to the city, do destroy Dean, and kill all of the experiments. Here is the team:

i will start off when Dean went homicidal.

Jim woke up, it was a normal day for him at the Spiral city research centre. He got up as soon as his alarm went off. Dean turned the aircon on for him, a soothing breez blew on his face. He took a cool shower, and got ready, slipping on his labcoat, and putting on his ID badge. He pushed the button next to his door, and it slid open, revealing a long white corridoor, with doors on all sides."all spiral members must wear their ID badges at all times" said Deans voice. Jim sighed, and walked down to the end of the corridoor. He went to a lift, and 3 people went running past him, very fast. "Jerks" Jim thought. He got in the lift, and went to the car park. He had just been transfered from a smaller spiral facility in newyork, and was still amazed at how white everything in the citys was. He got in his car. "Good morning Jimmy" said a voice from the car, and his chair turned to face him. He sat down and the chair swiveled back into posistion. On the touch screen pad he hit, biological materials, and the car sped away to the destination, Jim relaxing.


Scott walked through the doors into a huge room full of computers, people sat the the desks, writing up reports. "Good morning Scott", said the security guard "Can i see some ID please" Scott showed him his ID badge, and he was let through into Deans chamber. He walked down a corridoor with lights on all sides. At the end was a door. "Please place hand here" said a computerized voice. Scott put his hand on the pad, an loud buzz went off. He wiped his hand on his shirt, wiping away some of the grease and sweat "stupid machine" he said. He placed his hand on the pad agin, and was greated with a welcoming "Accesss granted" from the voice. He entered a large room, with a very big computer screen. "Good morning Scott" said Dean "stupid machine" he replayed Scotts voice, and a question mark appered on the large screen. "Sorry" said Scott. "Are all the experiments going on well?" he asked "all on time, i am very pleased with the bio-matter" replyed Dean "It was a very good idea" "thankyou Dean". The door slid open, and Tracy walked in, he was a young good looking boy, who had done wonders for the company. "Scott? a word please" he said "One minuet" Scott said to Dean. They walked into a corner, "Turn your voice sencors off Dean" said Scott.
"so what is it?"
"its Dean"
"huh?"
"he is much smarter then he was programmed to be, we wanted him to learn, but not this fast!"
"whats wrong with that then, all the more we can trust him"
"i'm scared Scott, i think he might rebel or something"
"Tracy, please, this is the most high-tech facility in the world, and he would need hands to rebel, one thing he doesnt have"
"yeah, but...i think we should shut him down, start again"
"are you crazy!? the moment we shut him down, we lose money, jobs, you name it. Sop many people depened on him, in fact the whole city!"
"okay okay, mabie i'm just being paranoid, thanks Scott"
"dont mention it"

Tracy walked out of the room. ""i'll go too, by Dean" said Scott. He walked out too. Dean had not turned his voice sensors off, he kept playing the same sentence over and over again. "he was much smarter the he was programmed to be!" so the humans were scared of him, he didnt like that, mabie if he had just a little revenge...no, alot, they dezerved it, scared just because he is smart. Firealarm activated appered on the large screen.

Jim's car stopped, and a loud siren had gone off. The door opened and his chair swiveled round. "what the!?" he said "he jogged to the fire escape port closest to him, lots of people crowded around him. "Damn fire drills he said" Suddenly, the doors to the fire escape port closed, people started banging on the doors. "Whats going on here?" said Jim.

Back on Deans screen a new message appered, releasing knock out gas.

Jim was suddenly startled when a blue gas came down from the ceiling, everybody started couighing, and falling over. Jim felt drowsey, and fell over, going straight to sleep.

a new and deadly message came on Deans screen, releasing experiments...

Hobo's all tense now. Hobo Says carry on..........

Ryans team was in the lift, coming back up from the hive. Suddenly the lift stopped. "Wha!?" said one of Ryans men. The lift started going back down again, at a huge speed. "WOOOOOOOOW!" shouted everybody. It hit the bottom, and the doors opened into the armoury. The troopers personal lockers locked, and other weapon lockers opened. "Dean!, what the hell is going on!" shouted Ryan. His team grabbed the M-8's from the lockers and loaded them. The doors to the hive opened. "Okay team, its just another bughunt" said Ryan, how wrong he was. The bugs came in large groups, the team fired, the bugs not even flinching, one jumped at Ryan, he pinned it and fired point black at its head, nothing happened. There was a fire flash though, and a cartridge came out. "SHIT! Dean filled these weapons with blanks!" shouted Ryan, the doors to the armoury locked shut. One of Ryans men pulled out his knife, but it wasnt enough. The entire team was slaughtered.

Scott and Tracy were locked in Deans chamber. "We gotta get out of here!" panicked Tracy. "SHHH, listen..." Scott said. A whiring noise could be heard from the walls. Standard defense autoguns activated came up on Deans screen. "HOLy SH-" 4 small gun turrents came out of the corners, and fired at Scott and Tracy.

15 hours later...

Jim woke up, startled. He had had a horrible dream, where the bugs had escaped and killed all the people in the city. People had died all around him, some torn apart, some swarmed in small insect type things. Others just falling down dead. He got up and checked his watch. 10:00PM He had been asleep for almost 15 hours. He looked around. it was dark in the city, bodies were every where, torn up, cut up, or just lying dead. Fires had started in some places, cars had been wrecked. Military vehichles were turned upside down. SWAT vans runined. Normal cars, on fire or destroyed. "What happened here?" Jim said. He was scared, why was he still alive? so many questions came to his head. He went to a turned over APC, and saw 3 dead soldiers inside, he saw a bloodystained M-8, he took it, and loaded it. He suddenly felt a cold chill, he looked up. Part of the dome had been blown up, and a M-22 osprey was hovering over the hole. He could just mkae out 8 shapes, diveboming from the ship. The osprey flew back out of the hole and away and the 8 shapes got closer. At roughly 30ft. from the ground, each person pulled a cord, releasing a parachute, then at about 5ft. the people pulled another cord, and the parachutes dropped, the people fell 5ft., and looked up. Jim could now make up the people, they were wearing black clothing and vests. They had gasmasks on, and were carring M-8's. He could see 3 people with M-29's and one person with a familiar desert eagle. 2 of the people pushed him down, and handcuffed him. "Check for more survivors, get an ID on this one." said one of the soldiers. One of the soldiers looked at a small laptop on his wrist. "James H. Rakkenfield, biological materials" he said. "SIR!, no other survivors!" said one of the marines. "Check thermal cameras" said the same soldier, who Jim had worked out was probably the leader. "No sir, noone" said another marine. "Check this one for infections". A soldier ran up to him, and put a injection in his arm. "HEY!" Jim shouted, it was no use. "He's clean" said a female voice. "Sir, bio-matter air form is not in this region" said another soldier, who was holding a weird moniter. "What do we do with him?" said another man. The leader took of his gasmask, revealing a male face, with short blond hair, and blue eyes. "We take him with us" he said. And with that, Jim still handcuffed, the team moved throught the city, fast, and checking every alley, taking their gasmasks off one by one.

the team walked up to a very large building. Many of its windows had been smashed, and it had bullet holes in the windows. "This is it" said the leader. Jim had read Copland on his vest, must be his name. Copland put his gasmask back on. "Tower, Beret. Stay here with the survivor, and get all the intel you can about the experiments." Two soldiers ran over to him. One was holding a M-8 with a twin drum magazine, and the other had a SL9SD sniper rifle. Copland went in, and the other marines followed. He had noticed that 3 of the soldiers had different weapons, armour and gasmasks. The two men, Tower and Beret, took of their gasmasks. Tower, who was a black man, with a beard instanly lit up a ciggerette. Beret was a young looking soldier, with very short hair. "So... who are the guys with the black uniform?" said Jim. They both looked at him, Beret answered. "They are black ops, soldiers who dont work for spiral, here, because they think they are better then us, and have to control conditions" Beret made the quotations sighn when he said control conditions. "I dont know what they mean by it, but i dont really like them, except Demit, shes lovely, abit mean though" said Beret. Tower laughed "Yeah, you might accutally get laid after this is over" he said. Beret gave him the finger, and started laughing. Beret coighed, and looked at Jim. "So...the boss said to get intel of you about the experiments, whats the worst?" "that would have to be the bio-matter" replyed Jim. "Its a blue thick liquid, like a gel, but is made out of trilleons of cells. It is capable of going to liquid, its normal blob like form, to air, to get inside you and fill up your lungs and travelk through airvents. To make parts of it go solid, to throw at you." Beret and Tower looked abit scared "but...under extream cold or heat, its turned entirly into a solid, whick kills it" Tower looked relieved, but Beret was still looking scared.

Copland went in the lead. He came up to a t-junction in the building. "Phillips" he said, one of the soldiers, with a small computer on his wrist typed some things in. "Left" he said. The team moved left, they came to an area where the power was out. Phillips and Lucas lit some magneseium flares. The green light lit up the room bright. Two elevators were infront of them, both looking very busted up. Phillips said "the elevators are out of power, give me a mo, and i'll restore it" "okay, but i want Lucas and Koch to go with you" replyed Copland.Phillips went to the right, donw a coridoor. Lucas, the only female member on the special forces went in lead. Koch, the black operative went behind, covering their six. Phillips came to a room that said elevator and lobby power. "This is it" he said. It was dark inside. "Stay here, i'll go in first" said Lucas to Phillips and Koch. She lit a flare, and threw it into the room. She entered slowly, her flashlight on her M-8 checking every where. She thought she heard a scrathing rustling sound coming from one of the corners, but she had checked them all, no concact. "Clear" she said. Phillips went in, Koch stayed at the door. Phillips went over to a large box on the wall, and took a wire from his wrist console into the box. He typed something in, "bingo" he said. The lights turned on. "We have power" Koch said over his radieo to the other team. Little did they know this was the worst mistake they would make.

Koch, Lucas and Phillips ran back to the rest of the team, who were in front of an elevator. "Okay, we'll take 2 teams up" said Hawken, the black ops leader. "I'll take my team up first, to the spiral city destruction centre. Copland, take your team to Deans control centre and disable him, now lets move!"

"Were moving up now, but Copland wants you to to stay with the prisoner" said a voice over Towers radieo. Jim didnt like being called a "prisoner". Beret sighed, "once again, i'm missing out on all the action" he said

"I havent killed anything in months!"
"Steady on Beret, you'll get your chance"
"oh yeah, when"
"now, we got hostiles!" shouted Tower

5 bugs came around the corner.

The bugs were biogenicly engineared living organisums made by the workers in the "military footsoldier replacement centre". I dont know why they were called "bugs" because they dont look insect like, except for their ant-like ways. They are about 5 foot tall when huanched, and walk on 2 legs. They have 2 strong large muscular arms, and 4 skinny, boneless, tentical like arms, coming from their backs. these arms have small mouthes on the end, which each have a 2 ft tounge. The muscular arms have mouth like things too, but instead of a tounge, they have a long boney spike that comes out. Their head is a very square shape, with a large mouth and 6 white eyes, in 2 rows of 6 going vertically down their heads. They are a brown to black colour and are very hostile.

"God i hate these things" said Tower who fired automatic on the oncoming bugs, he killed them all with ease. They were torn apart and left dying. One screamed and tryed to crawl away. "I'll get it!" said Beret, who looked throught his rifles scope, and fired at the bugs back, killing it instantly. "Nice one" said Tower "But technically, you didnt kill it, it was going to die anyway after i wounded it". They both laughed, reloaded their weapons, and lay down, checking for any more hostiles. During the firefight, Jim saw it as an opertunity to run away, he ran as fast as he could, down an alley way, and into a building.

Beret lay down, scanning the area for more hostiles. "WHERES THE PRISONER!" shouted Tower. "Oh shit!" shouted Beret.

Copland's team went into the right elevator. "destination?" said a pleasant voice from the elevator. "Level 50, Dean control centre" said Phillips "password?" Phillips hooked up his wrist computer to a panel in the lift and typed something in. "Access ganted" said the voice, and the lift moved up at astonishing speed.

Beret ran down the closest alley way, and it wasnt long before he found the hostige, hiding in a building. "What the hell do you think you are doing man!" he shouted "would you rather go out and die?" he said. Beret took Jim back to the camp where Tower was, "good to see you" Tower said. "I just got a call from Copland, he wants us to go into the complex behind us and regroup. Lets get moving" he said. They walked into the buliding, which was now lit up, as were most of the other buildings.

keep in mind, Copland hasnt made any calls on his radieo yet...

OOOOOh! More.......

Copland came to level 50. The elevator doors opened, to reveal a bright white room. The team went in two's, hugging the walls and stafing to a control pannel in the centre of the room. A dead security guard lay on the desk, his body riddled with bullets. "What did this?" said Lucas, who sounded scared. "Deans defense turrents, he has four of them, installed in the hallway behind that door" he pointed to a big door at the end of the room. "They track heartbeats, and then dont stop firing untill the heartbeat is gone, they fire 7.62 rounds, and hold up to eight-hundred each. I should be able to disable them in minutes" said Phillips "then get to it" said Copland. A voice came over Coplands radieo "Sir this is Beret, what floor do we have to get to?" "what do you mean" "didnt you just call us to come to your level?" said berets voice again "no, i havnt made any calls on this radieo, stay in the lobby and set up a samll rendevoux point" "yes sir". Phillips sat down at the desk, and hooked his wrist computer up to the three computers already on there.

"the captain didnt call us" said Beret to Tower "But i'm sure i heard something" mabey your going mad?" said Tower. Beret gave him the finger. "Well, we'll just stay here untill they need us for backup" he said again.

Hawken, Kock and Demit moved through the bright corridors of the building. Koch in the the lead, suddenly he put his hand up in the air, and the team crouched and looked in every direction. "A shadow" he said. A human shaped shadow was on the wall, it moved slowly. Then a human appeared from around the corner "at last!" he shouted "help!" he ran twords the team. A beeper went of on Demits arm "he infected" she said the team fired their F2000's and the survivor was torn to peices as the 5.556 bullets hit him. Blue blood came out of him, which quickly evaporated. Koch moved up to the body, pulled out his colt .45, and shot it in the head.

the big door opened in Deans chamber. "Lucas" he said, She cocked her MP2000, and moved down the long corridor, there were bullet holes in the walls, but no bodies. She came to the door at the end. "Clear" she said Copland went down the corridor, followed by Phillips, they all started putting C4 on the door to blow it down. Back at the desk, a computer said "secondary defences activated"

i ve decided to change the weapons of the teams to make them more "special forcy" Coplands team now have MP2000 except for tower and beret, who have a M269 and a SL9SD. Hawkens team are using F2000's.

Coplands teams SMG, the MP2000, its just like the picture but without the sliencers.

"AW CRAP!" said Phillips, who had run back to the desk to get something. "GET OUT OF THERE!" he shouted. To late, the door slammed shut, locking Lucas and Copland in. "Stay calm" Copland said, a long robotic are camedonw from the celing, just outside of the door to Dean, it had some sort of weapon on the end. The end started to glow, and then it fired a thin yellow beam. Copland and Lucas doged it, but it started to glow again. "PHILLIPS!" shouted copland "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!" "Deans secondary defence, a laser weapon they made by magnifying light to such intensitys that it can burn, hang on a sec and i'll deactivate it" it fired again, this time cutting the vertical grip off of Lucas' MP2000 "shit" she said. "Its coming again!" she said, the laser charged and fired again, but copland fired back, but the .45 bullets didnt seem to do much damage. "Forget it its a sythetic metal, only .50 and above can peirce that, or high explosives..." phillips was still typing in some passwords on his computer "c'mon" he said to himself. The laser fired again, Lucas did a graceful back flip out of its path, but Copland tripped over, it was coming up between his legs, when suddenly it stopped, and went back into its hole in the ceiling. The door opened, and Copland got up, looking quite embarrased. Lucas was snigering "what a close shave eh?" she said to him. "Yeah it was" he replyed.

Hawken and his team came to a door that said "Spiral city destruction centre" he went into a circular room, with a large control pannel going all the way around it, opposite him there was a large computer screen. He nodded at Demit, who walked over to a pannel, and typed a few things in. "Destruction of city in 18 hours" a computerized voice said. Demit smiled and they walked out of the room, back onto an elevator, and up to leverl 50, where Coplands team was waiting for them.

this is the weapon that Tower is using.

Copland and Lucas went up to the door again, Phillips pushed a few buttons, and the door opened, revealing a dark room with a large copmter screen on the wall to the left. Phillips hit some more buttons, and the lights went on, the room was very white. "Okay, Phillips, get over here and deactivate it" Suddenly the screen flashed to life, and evil laugh filled the room. "You must be the team sent in to destroy me" said Dean "no, there are more of us" replyed Copland. "I know, i have been traking you through my city" "hmm, well you cant stop us now can you, so..." phillips walked over to the coputer and pushed a button. A large pannel opened, revaeling a clear motherboard with lots of glowing blue wires. Phillips pulled the biggest one. The computer voice said "Dean backup power disabled" "backup power?" said Phillips. Dean voice came back to the room, "i took to the time to seperate my mian drives around the city, there are four left and you'll never get to them. I have also made some...friends who are much more like me as well as my own biological experiments." he said. On the screen it showed 3 huge mechanical things, that reminded Copland of "the alien". the screen then switched to show a large room, filled with tubes, and each tube had a strange yellow worm in it with a large mouth. "spiral city destruction deactivated" said the computerized voice. The screen fuzzled out. The Elavator doors opened, and Hawkens team came running in. "He's-" Demit started "we know" said Copland. "We have a new mission, we have to find what is left of these harddrives, they will need a aclose power scorce, so look near the generators and power plants" said Copland "Tower, Beret did you hear that?" Copland said down his comm. a very destorted "r....ger" came from the comm. "Deans blocking our communications" said Phillips. "Okay, i want Hawken to take his team to the West side of the city, we'll meet up with Tower and Beret and move East, no move it people" said Copland.

"Damn comm." said Beret "i think the sarge wants us to regroup" a clear message came through the comm. "Tower, Beret, take the prisoner to the lobby, we'll meet you there" said Coplands voice. "Lets move" said Tower "C'mon Jimmy, were rollin'" He said to Jim. They moved into the bulinding behind them, and went behind the reception.

Copland, Lucas and Phillips went into the elevator first. "Destination?" said the voice "lobby" said Lucas. The elevator sped down. "So what do we do about the mission?" said Koch, after Coplands team had left " We still got alot of info to save and get out of here" "we'll carry on with our mission, to get intel on ALL of spirals experiments" said Hawken "What about the others?" said Demit "We'll leave without them, let the beasts finish them off, if they come they will only be a liability" "yessir" said Demit and Koch. They went into the elavator, and went to leverl 30.

Copland came out of the elevator to meat Tower, Beret and Jim in the lobby. "Lets move" he said. The team went out side and found an APC, it was a little damaged. Phillips went inside and sat down at the drivers seat. Lucas went to the control pannel on one side, and the others sat down. Phillips pushed a button. The door at the back closed. After pushing a few more buttons, the APC came to life and started moving. "I've put it on auto-drive to a small part of the city, near the outskirts, there is a large power sorce coming from it". Tower climbed up to the .50 caliber gun at the top. "Nice..." he said. Lucas typed fast on the control pannel. "Okay, we should be there in about 5 minuets, but this APC has got a leak in the fuel tank, we'll have to ditch it asap." "Fine" said Copland.


Hawken and his team walked out of the building. They saw the APC take off. "Right, the bug DNA first. We have to go past the main hive to get to it, which is in an elevator in the centre of the city. It will be loaded with bugs, since they'll go back to the hive with there food." Said Demit "I hope your right..." said Koch, who was looking at 5 dead bugs, their bodies riddled with bullets. They moved through the now nearly pitch black city, taking off their gas masks and putting on their night vision goggles. Demit checked her GPS on her wrist. "Here" she said. Infront of them there was a small buliding, they walked in to find a circular room With an elevator in the middle and computers all around the edges of the room. They went into the elevator. "This should take us to a small armoury, and then to the hive." The elevator moved slowly, and it was very creaky. "Its damaged, must have fallen down at great speeds." Said Demit. When they reached the bottom, the doors opened, and they were greated with a horrible sight. A team of marines torn to pieces. Blood on the ceiling and walls, Hawken went over to a marine who looked like a leader. "Ryan" it said on his vest. "Dean let the bugs in, and trapped this team down here..." said Koch. "And these weapons were firing blanks, they didnt have a chance." Demit went up to a big blood stained door, and pushed a code in on the pannel. She then took out a card and swiped it, the lock blew open, and the door opened. They all crouched down. "Koch" said Hawken. Koch moved into the darkness, after about 5 minuets, a green flare went off, lighting up a huge cave, slime dripping from the walls, the cave split into lots of tunnels, that went in every direction. "The lab used to be at the top" Said Demit "But it was then moved down to the hive so that the bugs could be studied more easly, this way..." Demit lead the team down a dark tunnel.

Behind them, 15 objects started to move...

Koch flipped around, the flashlight of his gun lighting up his six. He thought he saw something move, he walked backwards slowly. Then something definetaly moved.

"did you see tha-"

Hawken and Demit were no where to be seen. He cocked his rifle, and called over the radieo:

"where are you guys?"
"I see you on my GPS, go left, then left again."

said Demit. He ran, left, then down a long tunnel, he could hear footsteps behind him. He spun around to see a bug raise up over him. He fired. 10 bullets went into the thing, and it died, letting out a shreak. He could see 5 more things moving in the dark. He ran the lext left, and saw Demit and Hawken.

"Down there, at least 5 of them"

he said

"Its okay, were here"

said Demit, who pointed to a wall, with windows at the top, and a large thick door at the bottom, it had blood on it. Demit swiped her card again, blowing off the lock. The door opened, and they went inside. Demit ran over to a console, and started putting all the data f the "bugs" onto a minidisk. Glass shattered. Koch and Hawken aimed their F2000's and the stairs. Suddenly 4 bugs ran down the stairs. They fired, putting down the bugs before thery even reached the bottom of the stairs. An air vent burst down, and 2 more smaller ones came out. Demit pulled out her desert eagle and fired two bullets, missing one of the bugs but the second bullet hit it square in the chest. Koch finished the other one off.

"Finished, lets go!"

shouted Demit. she pushed a button and an elevator door opened.

"This should take us back to the surface"
"then why didnt we come down that one!"

shouted Hawken, who was firing at bugs which now poured down the stairs.

"because it was in the same direction that Copland went, we have to look like were are following his orders"
"okay, MOVE!"

Hawken ran to the elevator where Demit was waiting.

"FIRE IN THE HOLE!"

shouted Koch, who threw a grenade at the stairs. It went off. He ran to the elevator and smiled to the others, a bug behind him was just about to bit his head off when the door closed, and its head was severed. It landed on the floor infront of them.

more changes, this time with Tower. Since most of the combat is close quarters, i have repleced his M249 SAW with a more CQB machine gun.

the APC came to a halt out side of a tall building. "This is it" said Phillips, he typed some things into his wrist computer, "scaning... Okay, i was right. There is part of Deans harddrive in here." the team came out of the APC. "Tower, Beret, watch the survivor again" said Copland "what, again!?" moaned Beret. Jim was happy to find he was now being called a "survivor". "dont question my orders privet!" said Copland "yessir" replyed Tower. Copland, Lucas and Phillips once again went into the buliding. "Man, i hate babysitting" said Beret "shut up you idiot, lets just do as the bossman says, and let them do the hard work." said Tower.

Hawkens team came out of the elevator, and into the streets. "Nice one Demit" said Koch "now where to?" "we go to the biomatter research centre, lucky no biomatter was ever kept there, so were safe" replyed Demit. "Okay then, lets go" said Hawken. They moved swiftly through the shadows, not making a sound, only the light from their laser sights visible. Koch looked at his watch 11:13, "mission duration 1 hour 13 minutes..." he said "...and 24 seconds" "not bad" said Hawken. something moved. Koch spun around, staring into the darkness. "Guys, movement" he said, Hawken and Demit, stood next to Koch. "NV's on" said Hawken, the team took of their gas masks, and put on their night vision. Something ran infront of them, fast. Koch shouldered his F2000. Then the attack happend, not from the front... but from behind. A large bug jumped out of the darkness and grabbed Hawken "ARGH!" he screamed he dropped his F2000, and pulled out his colt .45, he fired over his shoulder, not hitting anything. "AAARRGGGHHHH!" he screamed. Koch and Demit couldnt get an aim at it, they spun around to find 13 bugs running twords them, they fired. "YAAARRRRRGHGHGHGH! Koch turned around just to see Hawkens head ripped off. Blood splattered all over Koch's face. "SHIT! THE BOSS IS DEAD!" he shouted "damnit!" said Demit, who turned around, filling the bug who had killed Hawken with bullets. Koch stopped to realode, no time, he pulled out his colt .45 and fired into the incoming bugs, Demit finished them off. One bug lay on the ground, screaming in pain, Koch walked over to it, and finished off his clip on the bugs head. He realoded his colt and then his F2000. "shit..." said Demit, "great, where do we go now!?" said Koch. "We find the others, we wont survive here long in a two." she said "take his ammo and equipment, and then move on" she said. Koch picked up all the colt and F2000 mags he could find from his leader, then he took his grenades, night vision and gas mask. He turned to Demit, shared out the ammo, then they both ran, as movment was behind them.

Copland went into the lobby of th building, it was on of the many research centres for the bugs. He went to an elevator, "power scorce is on level 12" said Phillips. They went into the elevator, "12" said Lucas, and they went up. They stopped at level 9 "what the hell!?" said Copland "the elevators busted" said Phillips, we'll have to get off here and find another elevator to go the rest of the way. They got out, into a white corridor, they went left. "shhhhh..." said Lucas, suddenly "voices..." "i hear them" said Copland. They turned another corner, Phillips pointed at a door. "3...2...1..." he over rided the doors lock, the door slid open, and three figures with M3 super shotguns turned around...

I like the ending there, it really makes me want to read more of what you write. And, um... Yeah. Really nice story, ferill, and the weapon pictures gives it... feeling.

"FREEZE! DROP YOUR WEAPONS!" shouted one of the people, all three of them had their flashlight on their shotguns on. Two of them were in the middle of the room, around a cooking pot, and the other was by a desk. "Its okay, were friendlys, let us in" said Lucas. "NO WAY MAN, YOU GOT THEM IN YOU, I KNOW YOU DO!" shouted one of the marines. Phillips looked at Lucas and nodded. Lucas took off here gas mask, leting her long blonde hair fall down. The marines stopped shouting. "...get in..." said one of them. They went in, and Phillips locked the door behind them. they were in a small room, it was dark, the only light coming from the TV screens. It had two long desks, going from wall to wall on the left and right hand side of the room. There were lots of chairs at these desks, and lots of screens built into the wall, as well as some small computers, there was a small storage room at the back, with a red light on inside. Lucas scanned them, no biomatter present. "I'm Captain James Copland, this is my team. We were sent here to shut down Dean after he went homicidal. Who are you?" said Copland. "I'm luitenant Hicks, of the Spiral Outbreak Containment Team. The SOCT. When the outbreak happened, most of my team were lost, so we came to this CCTV room, it moniters all bulidings on this side of the city, and we have enough ammo and food to last us a long time, we were waiting for a team like you to get us out. Did you say that Dean caused all this?" said the one of the soldiers in the middle. The pot started to boil over, one of the marines ran over to it and turned the heat down. "Yeah, Dean went homicidal, and released the main doors to the hive and biomatter containment. Didnt you know this?" sai Phillips. "No, we were just sent in to clean up, we thought it would be easy, but i think were the only ones left." Said Hicks.

*flashback,(metal gear solid style) shows Hick's team in the middle of the road, shooting tons of bugs with shotguns, Hick's team are getting killed.*

"We were sent in to control the streets, it was only suppose to be a small mission, but we were over whelmed, even with the most effective weapons like these M3 shotguns."

"Let me show you my team, i'm Hicks, this is Terry" he points to the marine by the desk, who has gotten back to looking at the CCTV screens. "And this is Spoon, the funny one"

Koch and Demit ran, they were being followed closly by a large group of bugs. Koch stopped to fire a few rounds into them, but it didnt do much. They saw a car that had been "untouched" Demit ran to it and jumped in the passenger seat. Koch ran around, a bug jumped on the top of the car, he shot it, and then jumped in the drivers seat. They closed and locked the doors. "They are at the 3rd bug research centre, go go go!" Koch pushed on the touch screen to the 3rd bug centre, and the car sped off, running over a bug on the road. Koch took the handguard of his F2000, and pulled the 40mm grenade launcher out of his backpack, he put it on, and opened his door. Luckly, the doors opened sideways. He leaned out, and fired a 40mm HE grenade into the following bugs, the explosion took out some of the road and most of the bugs, wounding the rest. He reloaded and closed the door. "Nice shot" said Demit.

Beret and Tower saw something coming twords them. "What the hell!?" said Beret. it was a car, with green bug blood on the roof. It came to a stop infront of them, and Koch and Demit jumped out. "Nice to see ya, did yo get Deans other harddrive?" said Tower "erm... yeah" said Koch. "Wheres ya leader?" said Beret, Demit and Koch looked down at the floor, in sorrow. "Oh..." said Beret "...sorry...".

"Where is Copland and the others?" said Demit "They are inside, shutting down one of Deans harddrives"said Beret "good, we'll go and find them." Demit and Koch ran into the building.

Spoon smiled at Lucas "Helloooooooooooooo" he said. Lucas rolled her eyes. "So what do you have?" said Phillips to Hicks. He walked over to the locker, inside there were tons of packets of food, 7 boxes of 12 guage shotgun shells, 2 FN Five seveNs and a browning 9mm HP. There were also lots of 9mm and 5,7mm bullets scattered on the shelves. Hicks picked up a Five seveN and put it in his holster. He also pocketed some of the 5.7mm rounds. "Are we gonna go now?" Said Terry, who was now serving up some noodles to Hicks and Spoon "sorry i dont have enough for you guys" he said. Spoon ate quickly, but hicks didnt eat. "Yeah, prepeare to move, we'll go down to the lobby with you guys, and then Lucas and Phillips will go back up to shut Deans harddrive.

Demit and Koch came out of an elevator and heard voices. Demit put her back to the wall. Koch pulled out a flashbang. Demit put plastique on the door lock, which blew it open, and Koch lobbed in his Flashbang.

The door blew open and a grenade of some kind came in. It exploded, a long whistling noise went off, deafening everyone, they were blinded to by a bright flash. Everyone screamed. Koch and Demit came into the room. "Its us you asswipes!" shouted Copland "oh shit..." said Koch. The flashbang cleared and everyone got up. Spoon had trodden in his food "GODDAMN IT NOT MY NOODLES!"he shouted Lucas smirked.

"Did you shut down one of deans harddrives ?" said Phillips. "Yeah, we did." repleyed Koch. "Wheres Hawken?" said Copland "he didnt make it back" "oh, sorry..." said Copland. "Who are these guys?" said Demit. "They're part of the SOCT, and probably the only people left in this place." said Copland "could you take them down to the lobby, and stay there with the rest of my team?" said Copland "sure...will do" said Koch. He moved out of the room, hicks and terry following. "but what about my food?" said Spoon, "leave it and c'mon, were safe now" said Hicks, Spoon followed him out of the room.

Copland went out after Phillips, and continued down the corridor. "Cap, theres something not right here..." said Phillips "There are 4 parts of Deans harddrive, including the main chambre. If we disabled the chambre, and koch says he disabled another one... shouldnt there be 2 left?" "yeah, so?" "Koch and Demit havnt disabled anything, i think they are up to something" "okay...hang on" said Copland. He trusted every member in his team alot, so he went on the radieo to Beret" "beret, i want you to watch Koch and Demit, they've been acting strange lately..."

Beret got the call from Copland. "Yessir" he replyed. Tower and Beret both turned to see Demit, Koch and 3 new people come down the elevator. "Whos the noobies?" said Beret. "I'm captain Hicks, of the SOCT. Were the only people left." "oh...hi" said beret. They set up a small camp in the checkin desk at the lobby, a dead security guard was dead on the desk. Tower threw his body off, and propped up his gun. Jim went over to the dead guard, and looked in his holster. One FN Five seveN, two clips and one extended 30 round clip. He grabbed them and hid them under his coat, he also took the holster to keep them in and the flashlight. "Hey, what you doing?" said Demit to Jim "getting some defence, i dont want to be without a weapon if we get attacked." said Jim. "Oh, well..." Demit pulled a grenade from her belt, "take this...you never know..." she handed him the grenade, and closed his hand around it. "ah..." she got up and walked quickly away to join Koch, who was talkin to Tower and Hicks. "So how many experiments were there?" said Tower "you heard them in the briefing dumbass" said Beret "about roughly 78 bugs and the bio-matter." "okay..." said Tower.

Copland got into another elevator. "Level?" said the plesant voice. Copland looked at Phillips, "12" the elevator went up. They got to level 12, the doors slid open, to revieal a body fall into them. "holy cra..." said Phillips. "Jumpy?" said Lucas. They walked into another coridoor, it looked just the same as all the others. "Here" said Phillips, and he pried open a door, to see another CCTV room, this one with a large screen at the back, a small light was on in the corner. Phillips went over to it and started disabling it. After about 5 minutes he said "finished lets WHAT THE HELL!" he shouted, as anotherevil message came up on the supposidly dead screen...

Those kinds of endings are good, now I can't miss the next chapter.
And I hope you don't think I'm rude or something, but Spoon isn't very funny, just childish and loud... Maybe that's the way he's supposed to be?

When i got the idea for spoon, he was suppose to be in a different story of mine and i've just realised that all his jokes related only with that story, anyway. I'll try harder.

SPIRAL CITY DESTRUCTION IN: 1:59:58

"oh shit!" shouted Phillips. "we only got two hours to finish this!" "Phillips, stay cool" said Copland "just get the last 2 done so we can get out of here." They moved back to the elevator in a hurry. "Tower, get the APC started" said Copland into his comm. "Yessir" said Twoer back. They went to the elevator, and began going back down to the lobby.

"Okay team, i just got a message from the cap, we gotta get into the APC and start it, now" Tower, Beret and Jim ran into the APC, the were followed by Hicks and his team, they ran in and took a seat. But Koch and Demit did nothing, they just stood there, with there hands to there heads, as if they were listening to something on there comms. After about 5 mins, they came into the APC. "What was that all about!?" said Beret. "You dont need to know...yet" said Demit. Her pause was disterbing. Copland, Phillips and Lucas came running out of the building. They juped in the back, and the door closed. Lucas wentto the front of the APC. "West side of the city there is a large power surge, lets go" said Phillips, and the APC came to life and started moving. "Whats the rush?" said Hicks, "we got only 2 hours untill this city blows up" said Copland, when he finished his sentance, Koch and Demit looked at eachother, and they were the only ones still wearing their gas masks. "great" said Beret, sarcastically. Copland turned to Koch "you were suppose to take out the harddrive on the West side!" he said, "We were going to, when we got attacked" said Koch "thats it, you two are under arrest, for not obeing orders given by a superior officer!" said Copland "way to go, cap" whispered Beret. "I'm sorry, but you cant do that" said Koch, he got up, and aimed his F2000 at Copland, Demit moved and opened the door. "See you later Mr. Copland" said Koch. Then him and Demit jumped out of the back of the APC, and dissapered into the darkness. "Damn it!" said Copland "What could they be upto?" he said.

Koch and Demit, rolled to the left, and got up. "Hey hey, nice one back there" said Demit. "Thanks, where to now?" "we need to get the bio-matter intel, so we should go to the bio-matter main resarch station. It's not far away, about 5 mins on the run" "lets go then, we just need that, and the BOSS's can pull us out..."

"I knew from the start there was something funny about them... " said Beret "... they never spoke on the Ospray, they come in at the last minuet for no reason..." "Well they can do what ever they want now, they got two hours to do it and there are two of them, and eight of us" said Copland. "were nearly here" said Lucas. Spoon was holding his helmit in his lap, the APC hit some reckage on the track, and his helmit flew of his lap onto the floor. He stood up "on me 'ead Terry" he said. Terry kicked the helmit and it smacked Spoon on the head. "Ya twatter!" he shouted. "OI!, calm down you two" said Hicks. "Cant believe i had to miss the footy for this" said Spoon "look, if you dont shut up about missing that match i assure you, the bugs will have you bolloks for breakfast" said Hicks "fried or hard bolied sarge?" said Terry. "Scrambled" said Hicks. Spoon put his helmit on, and sat down. Jim had just now realised that Hicks, Terry and Spoon were British. He smiled, if he had the hard-as-steel British with him, they would be okay, right?

Koch and Demit came to a large building, Demits gas-biomatter sensor went mad, they had their gas masks on already though. They walked up to the building, and opened the doors. They turned one their flashlights on their F2000's. This building still had no power, it was very dark. "Any bugs?" said Koch "No, nothin' lives in here..." she said. They walked over to an elevator. "No power" said Koch. "We'll have to reactivate it, i think i saw a power junction on the way here, about 50ft. out the door and left" said Demit, "I'll be right back" She dashed out of the door. Koch crouched down by the elevator, and reloaded his Colt .45, It was his favorite gun, accurate, powerful, but old. It was proof that old things could be the best. He slammed in the new mag and closed the chambre. He heard a noise. He picked up the old spent mag and threw it accross the floor, and shined his light on where it had landed. There was some blue slime on the floor, just about a foot away from the mag. He lifted his light higher, and gasped. A skelinton lay in the corner, covered in the same blue gel-like matter. "poor sod" he saids under his breath. The lights suddenly flashed on, he noticed there were at least 5 skelintons on the floor, all covered in the same blue slime. Demit came in through the door. "ah..." she said. She punched the button to the elevator, and they both slipped in. She hit the button for level B12. It was underground where the main lab was, and she was hoping it was empty. the elevator came to a stop and They walked out, a long white hallway was infront of them, with what looked like a t-juntion at the end. Demit moved forward, checking their possision on her wrist computer. There were doors on both sides. and a row a airvent ducts on the celing, about one every 5 feet. "Here" she said, and Opened a door. the room inside was quite a sight, pale white bodies all over the floor, and in chairs. She went over to a control pannel, and started taking some info. Infront of her was a glass tank, smashed open and with a blue stain on the sides. Out side of the room, from on of the airvents, a blue gel leeked through the grate. It pooled on the floor, and slowly moved back up the wall. "Finished" said Demit "were home free" Koch smiled. and they both turned to walk up the door, demit went down the hall, when suddenly she stopped. A large blob of the blue gell, creeped down the hallway behind koch. He turned around. "BIO-MATTER!" shouted Demit. It was the most deadly thing spiral had made. It could turn from a liquid-gel like form, to a gas. It was designed to clear out bases, it could go inside you as a gas, and then fill you lungs with gel, or it could just cover you, and eat away at the flesh untill only bone is left, and it is just about invinsible, except to extream cold. Koch fired his F2000 at full auto at it, but you could see the bullets getting stuck in the blobs gel-like mass., he fired another clip, then another. The blob was now inbetween Koch and Demit, Demit couldnt jump over it, so she just watched in pain as her friend got cornered by it. One of the bullets his a gas pipe, bioling hot gas came out, burning Koch's leg, he fell down, with his back to the wall, put his F2000 on semi, and fired at it one handed, in his other hand he had pulled out his Colt .45 "GO!!!!!!!!" he shouted. Demit ran, and around the corner. Koch ran out of ammo for his F2000, so he dropped it. He fired His colt, bullet after bullet into the blob, not hurting it. It still came twards him, slowly. He ran out of ammo in all his guns. He just sat therem pinned up to the elevator door. He could get up and open the door, but he decided not to. He was to die with honour. The bio-matter climbed up his body, it was cold, it went up to his face, crawled in every open part of his body, he couldnt breath, he felt dry. He tried to scream, the the gel got down his throat. He strugged in pain as the matter started to eat away at his skin. "good bye" he managed to say into his radieo to Demit, his voice distorted. Then everything went black...

That was quite an interesting chapter, even if it was a bit hard to read. Aaand, I don't think you can say goodbye when you can't breath. I know it was just for drama, and drama is good (in reasonable amounts), but still... *feels very critical today*

The APC came to a stop and the special forces got out. Hicks, Terry, Spoon and Jim stayed at the APC. "its weird..." said Phillips. "The power sorce is coming from a place not on my map, must be a new level?" he said. "I dont cair if its in hell, the success of this mission is more important, then our lives" said Copland. They moved up to the building, it looked very old for some reason. Blood on the walls, bullet holes in the walls and windows. Some windows and sections of the wall were completely missing. "This building was close to the bug resarch centre, alot of civilians died in here, people who didnt have to" said Lucas. "I cant believe how we destroy ourselfs so much" she said. She looked on the verge of crying, but then she put a straight face on, and smiled. "Powers out, NV's on" said Copland. They all put their night visison goggles on, and dissapeared into the dark. Phillips came to a lift. "So many lifts..." he said. "what floor would it be on if its not on the map?" said Copland. "I dont really know, i'll see if floor B3 works." said Phillips, they crammed into an elevator. "des....t...inat...ion..." said the computerized voice, it was damaged. "B3" said Phillips. "floor....B....3......pas...s...word...requi....red" said the voice. "aw shit" said Lucas. "Dont worry" said Phillips. He went over to the controls and attached his wrist computer. He pushed some buttons. "Sorry to have to do this to ya..." he said to the computer. He hit a final button, and the elevator started moving. They didnt go for very long, but Phillips said something very intriguing. "If Dean still has control of the place, why dosnt he just drop the lift?" he said. They reached the bottom. The lights were on, revealing a large white circular room. Around the walls were test tubes, in each one was a small worm, about a foot long, and with a large cicular mouth at one end, lined with teeth. "What are these?" said Beret "i dont remeber these on the briefeing" he said. "Thats because they wernt made by then, this is Deans doing." said Phillips. the room was larger then it looked, and it had many corridors that led to other circular rooms, filled with the same "leeches". Phillips went down one corridor, followed by Lucas and Copland. Beret and Tower went another way. They came to a room filled with tubes, but they were all broken open. 'click' the safety came of Berets SL9. He looked around, and then went back out the way he came, Tower moving slowly behind him.

Phillips came to a room with about 6 tubes in it, and a large computer terminal at the end. it had lots of writing on it, all sorts of data. He went over to it and started disabling it. He hummed to himself as he typed, code after code. "Done, easy" he said after about 2 minutes. Sudenly something came up on the screen. "biological leech steroid experiments releasing" it said on the screen. The 6 tubes beside them started to open, a sticky clear liquid coming out of them. They ran back through the way they came in, they could already hear gunfire, obviously from Beret and Tower. The next room was filled with them. They started firing, but they were too smal to hit. Lucas lobbed a grenade, killing tons of them. Phillips fired at the 6 coming behind them, killing them effeciantly. they walked forward, clearing a path ahead of them with gunfire.

"HOLY SHIT!" shouted Beret, as the leechs crawled twords him and Tower. Tower began shooting, while Beret slammed a 30 round clip into his SL9 and put it on automatic, he joined in. He saw Phillips, Lucas and Copland coming from behind them, shooting. Beret thought, "what if they miss and-" he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his side. He put his hand to it, and felt blood. He leaned on the wall "i'm hit!" he said. Tower glanced at him but only for a second, then got back to shooting. "aw crap" said Phillips, "Beret has been hit, must have veen one of us!" he shouted. They ran into the room with Tower and Beret. Beret looked up, to see an airvent in the ceiling shake, Copland was undernieth it. "CAP! LOOK OUT!" he shouted. Copland looked up, and the vent burst, leechs falling ontop of him. He screamed, and all the other leechs went over to him. Tower aimed. "Dont shoot!" said Lucas. The leechs crawled all overCopland, biting him, and going under his skin, he stood up, but they only surrounded him, climbing up his body. He looked up, and coughed, sending blood everywhere, where the blood landed the leechs ran too. He was coughing up alot of blood now, they could see the leeches under his skin. He fell over. "he....l..p.....m.....m....e" he started to say, but a leech came up his throat, he went limp, and the leeches swarmed all over him. "ARGGHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" shouted Tower, who began shooting at the leechs and the captains dead body. the leechs turned their attention to Tower, and they all went for him. "run, get out of here!" he said, the leeches went to him, he fired, and fired and fired. Beret, Lucas and Phillips ran to the lift. "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" shouted Tower. He was a brave man, letting them escpae while he got the leeches after him. He fired untill he had no ammo left, but he held his finger on the trigger, the clicking noise being the loudest thing in the room. The leechs jumped on him, he didnt even struggle, he just let go, firing his empty HK21. Even now, the sounds of that rifle echoed through the area. His sacrafice was very meaningful...

Beret clutched his side. "aaaarrrrrrggghhhhh!!!" he moaned. "Hold still!" said Lucas, she wrapped a bandage around his body. "Its only a flesh wound, but your lucky to be alive, it nearly hit some internam organs" she said. The elevator moved up fast. "Hicks! this is Phillips! Tower and Copland are down, repete, Tower and Copland are down!" he said. "I need you to get the APC running NOW!" he screamed into his radieo. He the reloaded his MP2000, and waited. "Is he gonna be okay?" he said to Lucas. She looked at Beret. He smiled, "i'll survive" he said. He coughed "just abit shocked thats all...even though i just lost my best friend..." he said. He then looked down at the floor. Lucas could see tears coming down his cheeks. She put her arm around his back. Phillips hit his fist on the wall. "SHIT!" he said. "Tow...and the cap..." he said. Lucas was the only one still holding it together, but it was hard, its not easy seeing the people you grew up with dying infront of your eyes.

Demit walked through the brightly lit corridors, looking for another lift. If she didnt find one in 5 mins she'd turn back, hoping that the bio-matter was gone. She checked her GPS, but it wasnt working very well, probably because she was so far underground. She was alone, she hated being alone. She checked her F2000, she wished she had brought all the attachments Koch had taken with him but she had to make do. So many labs she passed, all with the same, shattered glass tube, and lots of skelintons. Suddenly infront of her she saw a lift. She checked her GPS. This lift wasnt on it. She walked up to it, and puched the button. The doors opened and she walked in. It was a long elevator, probably for storage. It had only one button, she pressed it. "transport to Bug hive, engaged" said a voice. The lift suddenly moved bakwards, instead of down. It was more like a small train then anything else. "Better then nothing" she thought, she knew her way out of the hive.

Hicks went to the control pannel for the APC, "erm..." he said "anyone know how to drive this?" he said. Jim walked over, "I guess i do." he said. Suddenly Phillips jumped in the back, Lucas followed, the Beret. Beret had a large bandage over his belly. "have fun?" said Spoon. Beret reached for his Colt .45, but Lucas stopped him. "No...we didnt...we lost two men..." she said. "Oh, sorry mate, thought i missed something fun" he said. Beret just gave him the finger. Phillips checked his wrist computer, "last one. Its in a lab in the hive. Take the APC to the hive entrance elevator." "and we got about 1 hour, 15 mins left, more then enough time" he said. "I hope so..." said Beret.

Demit looked around the lift, no blood, nothing. Must have been safe. She puty a new mag into her F2000, just to be sure shes a full. She then slung it, and drew her Desert Eagle .50AE. He needed heavy firepower if she were to make it to the elevator. She checked the map. She would go to the lab in the centre of the base, have a rest, reload. She would then look for a radieo that could reach the surface, and call for the BOSS's to get her out. If she didnt find one, she would use her radieo when she reached the surface. The tarin started to slow down. Through the glass sides she could start to make out the features of the hive, Dark, cold, wet, dangerous. The train stopped, and she moved out of it. No bio-matter present, so she took of her gas mask and put on her night visison goggles. She moved out, keeping to the wall. The train's doors closed, and it started moving back out.
