Yes, once again I'll be starting up banner and avatar requests! It's been quite some time since I did them, and I now do have PhotoShop, so... yay!

Please concur to the following updated rules if you wish to recieve a banner from moi:

Rules - Last Updated 12th May 2003
If you are requesting a banner or avatar you must meet the following requirements:

• Have been registered with the Oddworld Forums for at least two weeks
• Have at least twenty posts - spam posts will not be counted
• If you already have a request with another banner or avatar maker you must make sure that you have tied off that request - myself and any other banner or avatar creators will not tolerate making one for the same person
• You must not have any warnings still on you in effect
• Most of all, you must conform to the Oddworld Forums rules

You must present in your post, the things/requirements you wish to have on your banner or avatar, such things like:

• A background image - supply in attachment or website address
• What text is to be on the banner or avatar - your username, slogan etc
• Font style - face, size, colour etc
• Any other images - Oddworld creatures etc
• Anything else you might like - but is in my capabilities

Not really, as your banner is at it's maximum quality stretch. Increasing it's size would mangle up and distort the image.

Hey alcar. Could you make me one? With lungbuser on it, kinda like my old one, but I doubt you'll remeber it. :D Can it have a catchy slogan on it please? I'm not really that bothered. I'd like it to be light green, sort of native. Thank you :D

I use Paint for most of it, then I use PhotoShop to add effects and text. I then use PaintShop Pro to convert the banner/avatar to .gif format :)

Background: Either really Native or mostly chrome industrial-but blurred a bit.
Text:In large, sort of chalky font, SPLAT, and then quite a bit smaller, in something more industial, Freak experiment 0941.
Images:A sort of puzzled looking Mudokon, a screeching scrab, and a leaping paramite.
(oh, and can you put a soalstorm brew machine in the background, out of the way and blurred so its hard to make out.

I hope thats not to hard (And I did ask for one from Abe Babes last banner thingy but I never got a reply and i think its been closed now, but i thought i should mension this in case).

I really want a banner, so please try, thanks:fuzwink:

Background: Dark night with big moon in left corner kinda of the banner so you can only see like 3 quarters of it (big moon with abe's hand on it)

Text: Glukkon killer scratched into the picture..kinda like it's scratched into glass...quite untidy...not neat...

Foreground: Left of banner..Abe looking mean...when abe has just turned back from shryskull...you know, punching his fist....

I'm not too interested in an Oddworld banner, but I do want to jazz up my signiture. Can you give me the technical side to banners like:

Max size;
How to insert;
Allowed content;
etc.;

• Max size: 125 height x 400 width (pixels)
• How to insert: [IMG*]http://www.domainofhost.com/path-to-image[/IMG*]
• Allowed content: Anything, except for pornoographic things and the like, I think you'll understand what we mean by disallowed stuff

If you have time, this is my banner idea:

Background = Industrial
Characters = Slig in front and shooting at Abe
Text = In the lower right, some awesome red font or something, Slig Hunter

For the characters it would be kinda like

O

X Slig Hunter

the X is the slig, the --- are red bullets like in MO and the O is Abe

Do you kind of get it?

Sticking-out-stuff: A picture of a sleeping slig, in 2D please!
Writing: Blueish and bold: Seargent Big
At the very botom of the picture, in smaller white letters:

(Or something like it)

Alcar as you can see i dont have a banner can jou make one for me also.
But i prefer an banner with an logo of Boiler Access.
and with a cool text underneath.
