Your Faveourite Oddworld Game
Hi everyone.
I just wanted to know what your faveourite game is. Personally I think the best one is Abes Exoddus, but I wanna know what you think... Post your reasons (If you want to) here after you have voted... Reese |
AE purely because it's funnier, harder and just generally cooler than MO or AO. I have only rented AE for a couple of days but the experience was far greater than anything MO has offered.
I'm still to witness AO in any form, though i do own MO. |
Amen to that! AO isn't wonderful, but its better than MO by a longshot. AO is the most atmospheric as far as skies and lighting goes, and its also quite a challenge. My thoughts are that all the areas in MO where alot less dark and "odd" than the other games so that OWI could introduce the new controls and creatures as gently as possible. Can you imagine how baffling it would be if you were suddenly immersed in a dense and massive Oddworld with a mass and wealth of game speak, creatures and challenges etc? It would be beyond anyone that hasn't played MO and got used to the controls. Not that MO is a better game, but I can understand why it couldn't have been better than the last two.

Either GAME, HMV or Virgin. I can't remember which, it could have been PC World also. You can get it pretty cheap in all those places...

yes, AE is the best, it's longer, more challenging, and funnier. AO was ok it's just so old now. and MO sucked! sucked! SUCKED!

Yeah MO isn't the best game, but i still don't think it sucks.
My fav game of couse is AE, i like it more than AO because of the enviroments, but there are alot of parts of AE that make me just switch the game off when i'm halfway through it because i'm bored of it, but with AO i like all of the game and none of it bores me, and i guess thats the only reason that i still play AO. i'm just expressing my opinion...i ment compared do the other games it sucked.... i do like MO, but now i only play it when i'm bored.... i'm just sick of it after a while, you know....i just cant wait for the new game much longer...it should be alot better cause OWI keeping it in the dark:fuzzle: alot of people wished they tell more but it's probly the best thing to do for a good game:fuzsmile:

I prefer AE. It offered the best parts of AO and more. MO just didn't live up to the OODNESS and seemed incomplete!

Thanks Xavier! Yes, one little rule to go by in these forums, is to try to think about how relevant what your about to say is. If you think that what you have to say is something that everybody needs to know, then post it. But if its something personal (IE, telling someone you like their new banner) then you should send a private message to them instead. This helps avoid person to person convos in threads (As they can be a real nightmare to post in.).
I am sure you didn't do it deliberately, as you are new here, and possibly new to forums aswell. before i got my xbox last year, abes exoddus was my fav. game, then when i got my xbox munch's oddysee i got, the problem with munch's oddysee is that it was too easy, so i just voted it anyway, im still not sure, AO or MO

I agree with Reptile, AO had the nice dark feel to it, where as I thought AE was goofing off a little. But I really liked MO. Probably because Munch is my favourite character...

When I look back at the games I would say AE, but I actually had more fun playing MO. It's easy to say MO sucked after you've played the hell out of it, but that isn't really fair.

I like AO the best. I love the environments in it. For a long time I thought AE was my favourite but when I finally got around to playing AO again I remembered how good it was. I usually always like the original best. I also think that AO was more challenging.

yes i know, but the old games are...how should i put this....um....old, but majorly cool. i like studying the old games, im just takin a break from it, as for questions, some kid asked me how many scrabs there were left on oddworld, id there a official number or is he just asking dumb questions..

that kind of question is stupid... there is no exact number, we don't even know if there are still meeches on oddworld.
