The First OddWORLD War
 
Okay, okay... okay.
This is an RPG. Duh.
The idea is pretty simple;
The industrials and the natives are at the brink of war.
And as all of you know, all wars has two sides- the good guys and the bad guys. It's up to you to decide who is the good and who is the bad.

The Sides :

The Natives:
Includes mudokons , gabbits and the Raisin(+the wildlife).
You can be Abe, Munch or any of the official characters if you want.
+Can use meetles as transportation and when equipped- can be used in battles.
+Has an affection for wildlife
+Can survive in woods/deserts longer than the industrials
+Has the tactical advance- i.e. Chanting
+Created to move in the woods/desert
+High morale
+Great teamwork

-Not that good with technology
-Can sometimes be covardly
-Give up easily when "cornered"

(note: Mudokon Scrubs are not native, they are a part of the industrials!)

Religious stuff has to do with what tribe, and maybe even inter-tribe wars.

Hmmm... I think I'll make the detachments...

The Religious Races define the way of thinking and of course, the creature they worship. It also has little to do with personality.
Mudomo are more peace-loving
Mudanchee are brave and proud warriors
Mudoncho are more like rangers... you know... rangers :)

Anyway, the detachments:
*only for industrials*
The Blitzpacker Squadron : Only for BigBros. They're like the commando/SWAT forces of Oddworld. Very deadly in combat.
Commander: Christopher (my very own Chris..;))

The Blunderbluss Squadron:
Almost the same as the Blitzpacker squad, except this is for normal sligs. Is more into special missions.
Leader: LT. Paulmer (owned by ferill)

The Flying slig Air Squadron : Only for flying sligs
You can run, but you can't hide.
Commander: Phil (owned by hobo)

The Spies : For all. They are spies. They spy on on the enemy. Duh.
Commander: Brendan (owned by Seargentbig)

The Snooz-em's : For vykkers and interns.
They're the "less-used" forces, they carry Snuzis and they're more like war police, they anaesthetize the foe and take them to vykkers labs for test subjects. Run if you see one of these guys.
Commander:

The Pioneers : Hurray! They make bridges! For all.
Commander:

Infantry : They walk and shoot. For all.
Commander:

The Medics: : For vykkers and sligs.
Medical forces trained to work on a war-zone.
Commander: Doc (Owned by Abe's Son)

Please let me know if somebody wants to be a commander in one of these ...thingies...

*starts biting the filter tip of his cig, eyeing the clock now and then*

Dominic: *is making little figures out of sticks and leaves. This has drained all his attention. * ...steady now... *places a stick onto pile of other sticks.* ...Ah! Here we go. Yet another perfect scrab!

*stretches and scratches his armpit*

Dominic: Whoa... I'm getting hungry... I'll just-- make another scrab first and after that, I'll go to find something to eat.

FS#2: *Pulls out scoped rifle and gets head shot*

Phil: #3 GO!

FS#3: *fumbles with grenade, phil has to knock it out of his hands before it explodes*

Phill: Weekend Pass canceled! #4,5 and 6 go!

FS4,5 and 6: *They each pull out cannon like weapons, that are semi-automatic but are powerfull 3 explosions litter the ground with debris*

Phil: Good work! R&R for all of you but #3!

Phil: #3, tell the guys that we are now an official workforce. That means I'm now a leutenant (sp.) and the top two of you guys will become sergents. This also means we're gonna get alot more sligs here from now on.

*#3 flies outside to see the ball collide with the rotor on #5's back #3 then tells them the news*

Phil:Ok then seeing as you have an objection to this work. Shall i volenteer you for canteen duty??

*Below them a team of sligs are on the shooting range. In the distance Phil can see a large scrab herd*

Phil: *Into radio* Captian? We have found a large herd of scrabs, shall we eliminate or ignore?

Captain: Eliminate, we've got some glukkons coming today and if anything so much as scratches them, you can kiss that workforce goodbye!

*Phil and his squad fly over the scrabs, the scrabs vainly try to jump at them but end up stumbing on the ground*

Phil: #4#,5 and #6 long range MOVE!

#4,#5and#6: Yes sir! * they scurry off to a quite a distance and open fire with their cannon like guns*

Phil: #2 extreme range!

#2: SIR! * #2 flies a huge distance away and preps his sniper rifle*

#1 and #3 : Take out any run aways

#1and#3: SIR! *They move off to positions where they're likely to escape*

*Phil hovers directly above them and loads his rifle*

Phil:*Into radio* All sligs, FIRE!

*The first volly of attacks strikes into the scrabs, the cannon blasts making huge crators*

Phil: *Radio* All men fire at will!

* The scrabs fall in large numbers, phil is picking off the alpha scrabs with his rifle, his engine starts to splutter, he then looses some height*
Phil: Heavy weapons hold your fire!
* Phil then plummets down into the remaining scrabs*

Phil: Heavy weapons team! Search and rescue!

*#4,#5 and #6 start to sweep the area looking for Phil. Suddenly #5 spots him being thrown about by a scrab. It starts stomping as if it was doing it's whirlwind attack. It suddenly falls to the ground*

Chris: You've come to right place! So now... *he walks back to his desk* ...did you come here to join the army... or are you a mercenary....? *quickly scans through Mihoshin's gear* Hmmm--- you're a mercenary... So, let's get started:

Oh yes, and special skills, if you are a mercenary- this determines how much are we gonna pay ya. If you're good- you get paid well--if you suck-- you get even worse pay than the scrubs down at the Barracks!"

#5 Slig: "I think that's possible. But where was Gen. Dripik's office?"

Fred: "I don't know. YOU lived here, not me."

#5 Slig: "But I never had to meet Gen. Dripik. I saw him sometimes, but those who tried to follow him to his office are locked in a cell or sent to the Queen."

Fred: "Hmm, not bad. We better ask someone around here."

Alf: *yells from behind the counter* No serving to tables Dominic! And you know it! C'mere if ya want to drink something!

Dominic: *mumbles and stands up* Lani, what would you like to have?

*opens a drawer and takes out an application form*

Chris: Sign 'ere. So, your payment is 450 moolah per day and from every captured mudokon native, you'll get an extra 1000 moolah to your account. You will get your money when you resign. This contract includes a bed at the Barracks, daily meal and the pass to all areas inside the Barracks. You made a good choise, my man. Welcome to the Slig Barracks.
Oh yeah, and prepare yourself, we are doing an assault to a nearby mudokon village tomorrow.
Expect some heavy resistance.
Now get lost-- I've got paperwork to do.

#1: We need to use a less- deadly force in the village, #3 is in there! He's been taken captive.

*Meanwhile #3 is under mud guard. A mud comes in , he has a large tatoo down his face*

*Runs over to tree, starts climbing*

#1: Phil had a run in with a scrab................ any way, got to go to the armory, they say they have news.........

*#1 and the rest of the remaining squad fly out the nearby windows*

#1: *Talking to head of armory, a large vykker* So whats up??

Vykker: Your team has been chosen to prototype the new flying slig ordanance weapons..... *points towards a large cannon with four harnessess for the sligs to move/ control it.*

#1: Wow! A four slig job!

Vykker:Five if you include the ammo man, each ammo man can hold 2 cluster shells, the only ammo we have at the moment, but each cluster shell unleashes tiny shells that cause havoc!

#1: So we're using this for the attack tommorow right?

Vykker: Yes.

"okay team, lock and load. We have a cleansing mission, he have to look for survivors on a downed blimp in enemy territory, this will be a hostile engagement, so bring all the supplies u need."

*looks at team:
Foely, with his enhanced sniper rifle.
Rogers, with his long ranger shotgun.
Blackburn, with his enhanced rifle.

*whispers "damn what a good team"

3 hours later, the team are on a dropblimp, on their way to the crash site. They all begin loading their weapons.

"ETA in 5!" shouted the pilot.

"4, 3, 2, 1"

a red light beeped.

"down and clear"

the team jumped out and ran to the crash site., Foley covering their six. They get to it. 3 paramites are feasting on a dead slig.

"hostiles!"

shouted paulmer

Paulmer and blackburn each fired a shot burst, killing the animals.

*voice over radieo "noone survived the crash, do u hear ,me lutenant? NOONE survived the crash"

*paulmer "i dont think i understand u sir"

the team walk into the blimp, dead bodies all around them.

*voice on radieo "noone survived the crash"

*paulmer "the pilots still alive"

a slig with no pants on slowly crawls towards Paulmer.

*voice on radieo "NOONE SURVIVED THE CRASH LUTENANT!"

*paulmer "yes sir"

paulmer fires at the slig survivor, killing him.

*paulmer "orders from command, kill all survivors, no questions asked"

*team "YES SIR!"



so what was on that blimp that meant so much that all survivors had to be killed?

Personality: She is very gentle & sweet. Jet is used to spending most of her time alone--which makes her a bit shy.
Physical description: Jet's feather is a lighter shade of purple (lavender/lilac in color). She is a small & thin child, but she makes up for that with uncanny speed & agility.
Tidbits: Jet has a small leather (back)pack she carries with her. She was abandoned in the middle of the woods by..well…she never tells anyone who left her. Jeteal also loves tea.

Weapons: his gun, his slog, & a pocketknife that he carries in a hidden pocket in his pants.
Personality: Fairly sociable—for a slig that is. When Merit is pissed off, however, he’s not someone you want to mess with.
Physical description: Since Merit doesn’t take his armor off much, not many see what he realy looks like...
Tidbits: Jaws is always at his side. Has very good aim.

Tidbits: Rumor has it that he was raised by wild sligs........

Joab: *to himself* Right now lets see if this works* He places the spooce on the ground next to a tree and puts a large metal antenna in the spooce, he walks away and then starts to chant. The Spooce bomb explodes taking out a huge group of trees, through the gap he can see the barracks.*

*suddenly, a slig from the information section knocks on Chris' door and comes in*

Slig: Sir, I've brougth you the info of the last plane take-offs and battle movements, sir! *hands a pile of documents to Chris*

Chris: *takes the documents and reads them quickly trhough* What the HELL!! Who the hell ordered these?

Chris: *yelling at the slig* Well, then you'd better hurry you ass and find out who's orders they were! NOW!
