I wounder what Squeeks powers are going to be?
Mann I wounder what Squeeks power is going to be. Abe possesses lifeforms, Munch possesses mechinery. What does Squeek do? I think he might cause things to blow up. Hence the name squeek. He might have such a high pitch squeel that things start to blow up! I don't know.

While I have no speculation as to what Squeek is yet I have to say I think paramiteabe-san holds the record for opening up new topics (for better or worse)...

Actually I think Squeaks power will be to grow in size, like inflating a ballon.

well mabey his power would be that he is an industrial type creature and since he isn't possesed could get through to any area and open doors for abe and munch mabey if it's a glukkon it could get into boardrooms ect.

For some reason the idea of controling more than two characters seems unsettling. I don't think it would be cool if the main characters kept piling up on eachother through out the series'.
My idea is to have Abe keep coming back as the hub character of Oddworld because of his humanoid form and his versatility. |
Hmmmm... Let me think... I know!... I think Squeek is going to be a symbiotic life form that exists on a mental/spirtal plain, jumpping from host to host, invading their thoughts and dreams, bending their will but can not directly control 'em. Well thats what I think anyway...

I'm sure I've heard the word "symbiotic" in connection with Squeek from some official-type source, possibly Alf.
I think his 'power' [presuming he has one] will be simple, whatever it is, as he was the first hero that Lorne thought up. |

if he didn't have any powers then wouldn't he just be a normal charecter he might not have outstanding powers like controlling people/machinery but he could be extra fast or just get along well with wildlife.

I think it will be a very complex power, It's lorne first character, so (lorne is a complex guy, lol) it must be complexer than the others

I don't know, the octica family sounds like a good species for the Magog Cartel like Glukkens and Sligs, Vykkeres etc. I would like to see an amphibieous creature like Abe and Munch. Or a type of mammel creature. Now that would be different. We have been sticking to fish like creatures we should switch to mammels too.

How about a lizard like creature like Gex from that game[Gex : Enter the Geko] BUT more Oddworld like and has the simple Oddworld features and culture...hhmmmmmmm maybe?

Hmmmmmmmm...... maybe he could be red like a slog[the creature in my last post]with under skin scales for protection and swimming. Webbed feet and paws/hands, and eyes like abe's.Cold blooded with a blue snake tongue. And his special abilitie could be to become invisible when he finds' spooce and activates it[chant-sonar button]-10 spooce.....

What if squeek has only one eye and that one eye has something to do with his power like a cyclops. It can shoot out a beam and burn enimies butts. That sounds funny and desturbing!

Oh and Al the vykker no hard feelings those are very good ideas. I was just trying to relate that spicies with the plot thats all. Kind of like constructive criticisim. ;)

I still want to see something that "has tentacles or nasty poison spikes that can penetrate your brain" (from AE guide book). Also another idea is that it could mimic other creature's gamespeak (controlling them as long as the character is hidden). It could be symboitic and give its host (abe or munch) extra powers. Or it could climb up walls (without Klime) or glide. Or perhaps, it could cause a character to go on an insane suicidal rampage. Or it could be boneless and could squeese through small spaces. Or it could have natural changing camouflage (like a chameleon). Or it could expell some kind of chemical that affects different creatures. Or maybe it could be two creatures in one that live as symbiotes together......................

Why is it that so many people think that squeek should fly just because it is the unexplored teritory of Oddworld and therefore a natural progresion? Or that he should be at some half way point between Abe and Munch?
What people seem to forget is that there will be in total five heros in the quintology. If he did follow one of those paterns the other two heros would have nowhere to fit into the picture. If there is a patern it will have to be more wide spreed and only be obveuse when the fith hero shows up. :) |
They should have the next to games on a totally different place with totally different species, except vykers cause what i hear theyre not from mudos or whatever and the fifth game should be a character that links them together.

Squeek being a Slurg would be insane, but Slurgs = Fleeches, and I want Fleeches back! Slurgs do look like they might become another creature, possibly even a Fleech.
