i rented gta vice city, it's so cool!

My friends have it, played it and it is good. Better than crappy GTA 3 that I thought was so dull and boring. But GTA Vice City really isn't much more different to GTA 3. "How could it be better then?" I hear you ask. Simply because of the motor bikes. If this game didn't have them, it would suck completely IMO. It couldn't live on the helicopters or planes because they are so crud with awful handling and height limitation and just aren't fun.

I hated GTA 3 because all I thought was fun was going on killing sprees and toying with the public but it only lasted 5 minutes. The Tank was fun though.... for a while. Driving the cars was so boring, and this is carried on to Vice City. The only vehicle I ever choose is a bike and I never get bored of them. Now I can kill people, get on a bike, do some crazy stunt, go crazy all together, kill more people, ride, repeat. I also mix some other stuff in there so I don't get bored. Now the game has a story, it's more interesting too and there are some humorous lines too. But it's still pretty simple.

Vice City is yet another hyped up GTA game that doesn't live up to it. I heard about all the stuff you could do, played it and I was let down. Buying stuff is pretty basic and once you have it.... well who cares. You "run" Taxi firms and ice cream places but then again, you don't really do anything for it. You buy a business, maybe store some cars there and thats it. You can then come back to pick up some cash laying outside the front door on the street.... just like real life! It's dull and boring.

But the game is good and fun enough to play because of the motorbikes and the missions are somewhat better too, but nothing fab. The graphics are shoddy too, but there are some nice touches liek blood splattering on the camera as well as rain. Doesn't look realistic, but it looks alright. I also like it how Tommy Vicetti's clothes blow in the wind, although I don't like it how the trousers of the "Mr. Vicetti" suit poked through his top suit. GLitches are once again common in this game!

If I were to give this game a ranking, it would be 7/10 or 6.7/10 or something. Fun but flawed. Probably wouldn't last me if I had it.

i have played it before....but i dont have it....its a ok game, it seems its just the same as gta3 just a little better...

Considering the fact that I'm nearly 18, I'd say it's safe to assume I've hit puberty.

Then issue me a warning. When people tell me I've hurt their feelings, I apologize. When people are undeservingly flamed, I apologize and try not to do it again. When this guy repeatedly says things that he knows offends people, it makes me wonder how much he even cares....I'll wear my warning like a metal of honor. As far as I can tell, he's made no improvements on his forum etiquette, and hasn't really even made any noteworthy attempts.

I agree with Digruntled Intern, masterchief should be given a warning since Disgruntled Intern is only doing his Job and his just trying to make the forum a better place for everyone and Masterchief is the one that started up the arguement.

Anyway MC, I mean whats your preffered game settings? You saying that you're the best & that you can beat me anytime is nice and all, but wear a belt and lose the mouth! Just how many people have you played? And I mean how many people who own Halo have you played? Just remember this saying in life: "There is always somebody better". And my own saying: "It's always the ones that are all talk who are the worst"

As for my preffered settings, me and my friends always have Health: 100%, Shields: Off, Indicators: Off, Radar: Off, No kill penalties or bonuses, infinite grenades (for the lovable grenade wars when two opponents get in close combat range and if one declares a grenade war, the first to stick a plasma grenade on the other wins (of course)), 50 kills (of course), no time limit, all weapons and vehicles and the rest isn't really important. Thois is for Deathmatch of course.

my game settings, 100% health, 100% shield, radar on, NOt infinite grenades and all other defualt settings because i play tourney rules. The tournament uses the rules i use. SO dont go thinking ur really tough cause uplay w/ no radar. Secondly i have played more people in Halo then u will imagine, i play people from all over the places and some guys r frikin great, but i am undefeated:) so go ahead, say something to make fun of me.... im waiting

Quite Funny, actaully I have been well suited for the job. The reason I'm not a mod of Off topic was for this reason. In case you didnt notice I was elected by the members along with DI. I know DI has been doing a good job. And so have I. I have been actively involved trying to solve the spam solution, if you look in Forum Feedback you can check, and am really concerned for the wellfare of the forums. If you would have noticed if you ever did visit Fan Corner, I too have given warnings for massive spam in my forum, so do not even begin to attack my mod status, for not doing a good job, because I have thats not the question that was on debate here. Aparently most of the members think I'm doing a good job here. In which case I was elected Thats what I have to say about that. If you were lead to believe otherwise I apologize, but please leave me being a mod out of it, im not a mod of offtopic so end of discussion. If you would have noticed none of my posts ever attacked DI, for not doing a good job as a moderator. so far he has Off topic, has been a lot better, especially with the recent spam, its finnally being taken care of. Thankyou.

Now as far as Im concerned there were many times in the beginning where his behavior was unsuitable, but what I saw and specifically was seeing, was that Nad's not DI, because he was just concerned about people's wellfare about certain word use, so I do apologize for completely going out on you, but Nads did attack MC, out of nowhere in a few topics, Mc was talking just normally in a topic, and being involved in the discussion. And Nad's just says the words Shut up, and nothing else. HE will occasionally stop by, and just keep saying stuff against MC when he hasnt done anything wrong. I find it quite funny, that a member is more recently blamed for defending himself, and that others have the right to dictate what is said. That is all. I have talked with MasterChief, especially on this issue, he joined for the purpose to talk about Halo and some other stuff, mainly in offtopic, until perhaps the new oddworld game comes out. But what I find here that was the sole reason I came. is when other members are not contributing to the topics for better or for worse meaning if they say something you like or something you dont like. And just saying cool sweet awesome really. They arent warned for their actions. My only concern, not with attacking anyone, but just targeting a large audience which does include myself sometimes, is we never really want to get to know a person, especially recently. We just attack, and dont see. But as you have seen and I have stressed this many time Im not trying to attack anyone here, I never attacked anyone's Mod status. So I do feel a bit hurt you would attack mine sour slig, just because I was trying to express a cocern. I will not be issueing warnings here, I dont feel I need too. I just want that stressed, and that you hopefully do think Im doing my job too as a staff member of these forums also.

Well I've noticed MC will just come in to a topic and start yammering away about halo for no reason, or insult members for not being as good as he claims to, etc. I've only noticed Nads telling him to shut up when MC is doing what I stated above. It's not the best way to go about it, but it could be worse.

I still feel that MC needs a warning.

And MC, who said I was saying that my rules are tougher? I think you're telling yourself that and I think you're scared that I've been playing with alot tougher rules. Who gives a damn if you play by tournament rules anyway? That doesn't mean its the toughest. I think the tourney rules are the default setting anyway. Me and my friends just thought that Shields was too forgiving in Multiplayer. perfect for Cpaign though, but not for Multiplayer. So we decided to take it off. I am considering shield 100% and health 50% though. Snipers shouldn't be too powerful that way.

The problem with you is that you're so arrogant and you don't realise that you spark things off. Listen to yourself and you'll realise that you're just asking for trouble.

Hmmm, still just hanging on topic, I hope Halo 2 will support the keyboard and mouse that will be released for Xbox sometime in the future. I like playing the FPS shooters on Xbox just fine with control pads, but I am better with keyboard and mouse. I still have to play a multiplayer FPS on my PC though, my PC just couldn't handle it though :(
