halo 2 ideas
 

i got some cool ideas for halo 2...

1. the pelican dropship is playable in multiplayer only, one person flys,one person fires the "chin gun" and it can carrie 6 other players.

2. judging by the trailer http://www2.mythica.org/halo/hbo/hal..._qt6_large.mov the first level should be on a covenant ship.

3. the flood should return...

4. the forerunner should be introduced.

5. there should be 4 types of granades.

6. MC should keep the 2 weapons only thing, its more realistic.

any more?

more and new weapons and vehicles, flood will be able to drive vehicles, AI even smarter

flood driving vehicles! scary!

how about they bring back the gattling gun or make the fule rod cannon useable and how about the flamethrower and beam sword...

each weapon should have an upgrade, like a grande launcher on the assulte rifle or a laser sight on the pistol?

Their will be a flmethrower and the AR now has a telescoptic zoom

Read EGM, they've got a detailed description. There are 2 new races also, one is a space pope type thing, and the other one called the brute is a big gorrilla



most of the pre-mentioned things are true such as: THE FLOOD COME BACK!!!!

By the way, thers no gun on the Pelican at all.

And the first level should be on a HUMAN ship. I mean, he flys off on a human ship, and then he goes, docks on a Covanent ship to go to sleep? Yea.

Hey, I've got an idea... NO MORE DAMN FLOOD!!! Other than that, I'm sure Bungie will work out a great game.

Read the EGM Article it talks about all the new features, and also new Halo pics topic, I wrote about all the new features.

Sorry but they will return 100% it says quoted by Jason Jones, later in the game. Im personally glad, the flood added a lot more depth, and hopefully, they will be brought the the Covenant homeworld. read the article in EGM, about it you will be enlightened, by the well of knowledge.

Mann I need to get Halo! Its sounds awesome. What am I doing without that game? Before I dident really know too much about it. I have heard of it yes but before I never was truely interested in it until now. I am definetly going to buy it. I hope I get my money's worth of a game!

Well for me I ordered the Bundle pack with the system, two controllers, a dvd remote, memory card, carrying case, five year warranty. And three games of my choice. Munch's Oddysee, Halo, and one more I cant remember. But It was a good price, and I got the system guarranteed the day it came out last year.

the best thing on halo is the flood! and how realistic it looks and sounds

i've got to say, they gotta have the flood, me and my mate spend hours of fun just standing back to back and blasting away flood, i love the amount of rounds they take, it's realistic, and its just fun paralising them in death. Just make sure u have the M90 abd the MA5B!

Ive heard that if you have a headset/microphone you can shout orders at the marines

it is the xbox live headset and you actually talk with other players (only in online)

online idea:well,they gotta' have a labrynth level,where you go through a maze.and a ship tha holds up to 10 players and a pilot.
the gun is a bazooka.and an armory filled with rocket launchers strong enough to destroy any pelican or tank thing!

in the official strategy guide and i think the web site, it says the pelican has a "chin gun", but i hav'nt been able to find it.

elites will climb up walls and jump really high, hunters will be extra strong, jackles will be smarter and harder to hit and grunts...will be...even more drunk!

This is funny you guys think that this game is gonna have some sorta bogus feeling, brutes? they r called the brute force and the prophets are a part of the covenenant, they arent a new race so if u dont know wut your talkin about dont say anything. also, the flamethrower hasnt even been confirmed yet, also there will be new ATV's for transport and 4 new typed of Warthogs and the covenant Shadow the assault rifle isnt called the assault rifle anymore, its the battlerifle and it is slower shooting, more powerful, more accurate and has a scope... So obviously i know more then all of u about this game ..... hence the name Masterchief, so before u start talkin all this smack and dont even knwow ut ur talkin about , ask me.. or second in command, the HaloMaster.... I am The Halo God, if u wann be good u gotta beat me :(

First of all, there's nowt wrong with calling the Brute Force just the "Brutes". Go complain to the many websites that call them just the Brutes :rolleyes:

And the prophets are part of the covenant, but they along with Grunts, Jackals, Elites and Hunters are all sub-races really. So you're not wrong to call the prophets a race, just as humans consist of different races.

And Mr. Know everything, you forgot to mention about the Uzi for new weapons :rolleyes:

Honestly, I have read about all that has been revealed about Halo 2 and I know what I can remember. I don't sit up all night looking over the new stuff included so I could just put somebody down for knowing less.... you see, I have a life and so does those who don't think they know everything so they can bark at those who may not.

The thing is, I like hearing what other people know about Halo 2. If somebody comes up to me and says "In Halo 2, you'll be able to shimmy along walls!" I'll say something like "I heard! It's gonna rock!" instead of "Ew, you think I don't know that!? I know more than you about Halo 2 because I'm a big fan boy."

Anyway, enough with the dirt cleaning....


Somebody earlier mentioned about being able to talk to your marines via the voice communicator? Well, I haven't heard anything about that and I do think you're mistaken for Multiplayer where you can order your pals about BUT it would be cool if bungee included some clever speech recognition in the game that did allow you to order your marines about! It would be fantastic! I think you will be able to order your marines about though with the press of directions on the D-pad maybe. It was definitely an idea suggested at the UK OXM.

And a flamethrower will be very cool! If it has been confirmed, just point and laugh at "Master Chief" for knowing something that he did not :D ;)

It is my "Supreme Halo 2" thread :) You'll know most of what there is to be known about Halo 2 there :)

Halo 2 is really going to be an amazing game. It'll be a massive improvement over an already fantastic FPS with a totally new engine and array of manouvers. I personaly am going to rank up the difficulity to Legendary right away (or Heroic to play it safe) and try out the stealth gameplay.... MC will be able to shoot out lights (as will the COvenant) and hide in the shadows along with backing up against walls, flipping over tables etc etc.

I canne wait!

man this is funny, u guys really are dumb the flamethrower was supposed to be in the pc version of Halo along time ago and they took it out of halo for xbox so u think u know but u dont. and plz dont try to act like u know more then me cause u dont and besidses u guys get way to offensive so get ur facts straight halo wannabees

how long will the levels be? i got some more idees:

(= human
)= covenant

(EMP granade: doesnt kill but can stop enemy tanks and weapons from working.

)wave granade: hovers in the air for a while and fires out 3 pulses, not very powerful but great range and accuracy.

(granade upgrade: hooks under battle rifle, allows it to fire frag granades ONLY, adds greater range.

(rocket launcher: fires rockets would you believe, takes large clip in back, 4 rounds.

)covenant sniper rifle:very accurate, but makes weapon overheat quicker, takes 10 from battery, 20x zoom.

(50. pistol: has a laser sight and fires 50. bullets.

)beam attatchment: hooks under plasma rifle, fires a continues loge ranged beam of blue laser, like the lasers the sentinals use.

I Like the EMP idea but i dont think the covenant will have snipers, their strategy is brute force!

It sounds like an attachment to the Plasma Rifle. I can't say I like that idea. I would like to see a whole new weapon...

lol, us guys are dumb because we don't know if a flamethrower is in the game or not? I have a feeling that you just went on an investigation to prove M.O.M wrong when he said that there will be a flamethrowe. 1) That's just loserfied and (2) there's a difference between knowing something and quickly looking something up. Besides, who cares if you know more? It really doesn't affect me. But I'm sure you'll lead a succesful life knowing more about a computer game than everybody else. Um, I get really offensive so I should get my facts straight. Ok, there are at least two things wrong with that sentence. No, three.

1) I think you meant to say "you guys get way too offended" (As you can see, I'm not a fan of abbreviating simple words). The spelling error of "too" can be overlooked, typos happen to the best of us. But if I was "way too offensive", that would mean that *I* would be the one barking at people who don't know as much Halo 2 news as other people. Me being offended, however, makes more sense as I am on the recieving end of the flying dung. Besides, I'm not offended. Well, maybe about the abbreviation of a simple workd like "you"! Grrrrr :mad:

2) Um, I should get my facts straight about what exactly? You didn't actually say what facts of mine (and others) were crooked. Maybe you could predict the future, saw me argue against you about us being "offensive" and believed that we were in fact the ones flinging the shite. Sorry bud, couldn't be more wrong. I don't believe that you can predict the future so I'm coming to the conclusion that you either have poor English skills or you were rushing yourself too much when writing that post. Slow down! You kind of remind me of one (of many) dumb things my friend said "I couldn't get any sleep because of this awful smell so we went downstairs the next morning and Nicky was making cheese omelets". Um, how do the two string together?

3) Um, how am I a Halo wannabe? "Oh, I so want to be that ring planet and get blown up by Master Chief." or "I so want to be that console game and get sold to millions world-wide" Start talking sense man! I think you meant something like "Halo Oracle wannabe" as that would have made more sense. But it would have fitted you more, because you're the only one bothered about knowing everything about Halo!

anyway, enough loser bashing.

I have alot of ideas for Halo 2. I'm just going to mention about the Covenant Sniper Rifle though. I think it should actually be something like the Shock Plasma rifle on Unreal Tournament with a large plasma beam with an explosion of plasma of what it hits. I think it should be a slow firing weapon (like one shot every 2 or 3 seconds) or could possibly be carged up for a larger explosion. The beam should obviously take a bit longer for it to hit the target than a human bullet would. I can't imagine the covenant sniper rifle being much more different really, and I hope it is like this as it would be very cool. The UT plasma rifle was cool itself!
