Fleeches --> Fuzzles
 

The second picture is probably were Lorne got the idea for fuzzles.

Add a little fur, give it some eyes and WHAMMO!, you got yerself a Fuzzle. Well noticed Khanz.:D

Yeah, I like that whole "Poisonous Liquid From The Forehead" jig...I wonder why they left it out?

I don't think that design was for fuzzles at all in the first place. He may have just saw oppurtunity later on or something. I would have changed the design for a fleech around also, a small ugly thing like what was drawn before would suck. Except for the "piss out of head" super-power;)

the first picture is the second version of the fleech (fleech: redesign)
and the second picture is the firsdt idea for a fleech

Yah, we know. What we were saying was if there were eyes and fur on it it would be a dead-ringer for a Fuzzle.

Of course, since Alf assures us that Fleeches are perfectly natural Oddworld creatures, we could theorise that the Fuzzle-like production image it was Fleeches looked like in the wild, before they were all captured and altered to be pets. Perhaps Fuzzles and Fleeches, since they look similar, are quite close on the evolutionary side of things.

He's talking about the pre-Fleech pictures, they show a Fleech with a spray of poison/water/something coming out of it. Mr Mac wonders why neither Fleeches or Fuzzles had this feature in the end.

That is a very interesting theory Xavier and I think there might be something to it.

In fact, now that I think about it, fleeches must've originally been fuzzles or at least a similar lab rat species.

I think the fact fleeches are ADN modifieded fuzzles make sence

1)they look similar
2)they're round about the same size
3)their both deadly
4)they both can be used as pets

those aren't good reasons...

but Vykkers love to do experiences on Fuzzles and we know they created fleeches and they are very skilled for ADN modifications

Just for anyone who wants to know, the stuff that the early Fleech is squirting out of its head is Acid and Max I never heard that Fleeches were natural, I always thought they were a unnatualy species that was accedently (or carelessly) realesed into the wild?

Lets all thank OWI for the confusion of official information...

Official: Fleeches were created by vykkers.
Official: Fleeches are indeginous to oddworld.

So my best guess is that fleeches were once a wild creature that was genetically altered by the vykkers into what they are today.

I think they were once created by vykkers, fluched by glukkons and now they are still living in the nature, so you can call them wildlife.
