Well, I just wanted to know what endings you have gotten from each Oddworld game so far, not including the Oddworld Adventures series and if you are starting or in the middle of one.

I've just started on getting the Black ending for AO, yes, it's a hard time having to murder and leave your Mudokon pals behind. I hate having to do it, all for the sake of getting some screenshots and the actual grenade power.

Phew... I worked on AE good ending several minutes ago. It's hard. But I'm at Mudanchee Vaults, after the level where you must escape from the Fleeches, then get the Invisibility Ring, then get past of those Scrab (invisible, of course). And I have rescued 50 mudokons yet.

Hey, some tips on finding Mudokons for the perfect ending:

In AO, look if you can climb down behind barrels and boxes and stuff. Also, look at places where sand is falling down. Often there is a passage hidden there where you can only come by climbing up/down

In AE, if you see SoulStorm Brew bottles laying around somewhere onscreen there is a secret area in that same screen

I haven't got Munch's Oddysee.

I once tried to get the perfect ending on AO, but I gave up after looking at the first secret room in Rupture Farms. How the heck do you people manage that without Quiksave?! :p

I'm now trying to get perfect/angelic endings for each of these games ... actually I've been trying for a while but don't usually have the time for it. I'll never try for any of the bad endings.

I just got Angelic Quarma on MO a couple of hours ago!! The extra newspaper was worth it!!

I actually find the bad endings to be extremely funny, especially the Brewmaster in the AE one. "Zis is a zing of beauty!"

First time I played AO all the way trough I actually thought the bad ending was the ending to the game, and found it extremely original... until I got the 50 muds minimum message. Now I find it both original and brilliant to stick 2 endings in a game

That's one of the things i love about Oddworld, and hopefully in the future, the endings will be so dynamic, that there could be 20 with their own individual endings!

Now, getting all 20 would be a feat!

Actually Matty, it's just a personal preferance thing for me. I'm really against killing Mudokons, so I would never do it. I do think the multiple endings is a good thing though, as it not only gives people different things to play for, but it also illustrates what can happen to you if you don't do the right thing.

I believe that the Silent Hill games (particularly Silent Hill 2) already has a large number of endings. Although the concept is a little different in that you have to keep playing the game (i.e. you can't get an alternate ending until you finish the first one) and you must meet different criteria to get different ending (i.e. complete the game within a set time without using any health packs).

I've gotten every ending for every game. I thought rescuing every mudokon in AE was the most challenging. It took me 5 times! But now I can do it easily.:)

You know it is funny I was abel to figure out AE before I was to get the angelic ending of AO. Then thanks to the help forums I found that secret I was missing in AO and there I go. Though I would like to get the black endings for each game but I never seem to get that no matter How hard I try killing everything. :fuzblink:

Well, I could try and go through the games again and try to get the 'special' endings, but it takes too long. The only thing I thought there was, was the different videos at the end, but apparently you can get special things like unlimited grenades and invincibility, but Ive played them too much so Im not really in the mood to go and play them just yet.

What are the bonuses like anyway? Do you actually get invincibility if you kill a whole bunch of Muds?

If you check the download section on my site, you can find savegames of the bonuses. Just copy them on your harddisk, load the savegame, and get the bonusending yourself.
