meep
I think the meep looks a bit like a sheep. But for what is it used. Or where does it live. Abebabe you´ve been to OWI. Can you tell us a bit about them?
I was the first to notice the Meep in the 'creatures in cages' picture. I think I only posted it at the Exoddus Club, though, which was a mistake. I didn't know what it was then, of course. My theory was confirmed when we saw the Tree Huggers piccie.
In fact, nobody told me anything about the Meep. It was all because I noticed Elum's photo thing at the last place that I knew anything. I still don't know where anyone got the info from. Except Abe Babe. And I don't think she'll be allowed to tell us anything about the Meeps, as the folk at OWI, I would guess, would get a bit upset. |
I think we should change the subject...but, by looking at the pics, a Meep is about the size of a fuzzle. There is one picture with a meep in a cage, so maye they get operated and experimented on too.
How would you know anything about Meeps Elum? What are u hiding?
I know as much about meeps as I do a sea rex pink...in other words, nothing. I do know they are not transportation! why would you think that. look how small they are!
I was quite annoyed myself about the name "Meep" being released on these forums. I don't know how it was, and however it was it should never have happened.
Although I was not given any details of what a Meep was when I was at OWI... only told what they were called. And if they did, I wouldn't be able to tell anyone anyway. That's why sometimes I do have to keep info from people... but that's what happens when you visit OWI. Abe Babe... |
ok let´s wait till Munch comes out (and that will be long) then we get the infos about meeps which we want.
meeps are as big as fuzzles? They can´t be used as transportation. |
Don't worry Abe Babe, you didn't release that info (I hope), so there's no reason you should be annoyed, is there?
I just want to know where people got the name Meep from. I'm annoyed because someone got info before me. |
I still say, it is transportation. I mean, look at them! They might be used as go carts.

I guess I'm annoyed because the info was released in general (due to knowing how confidential some OWI info is).
http://www.oddworld.com/pops/pop42.jpg If you look at the above image, you can see that there is a Meep in the cage to the right, that is cut off. The size of the creature is about the same as the Meetle grub, and they look to be fully grown creatures. That's why they do not seem to be transportation creatures. Abe Babe... |
pink a meep is not for tranport!!! only a fuzzle could ride it!
I have this pict, too. but on mine was no meep |
Pinkhaired, the only thing that could ride on a meep is another meep or a fuzzle!!
Duh! Than that makes it transportation then! *sigh* Besides, you don't even know anything about a meep so how can u say that they are not transportation? That's what i believed I did'nt asume it was a fact.Need A Construction Worker?
Okay Pinkhaired..whatever you say. Meeps are transportaton. Mudokons ride them...ya happy?
Is that big black thang an eye lash?
Big Black things? I think they are his ears.
EARS!!!???
Is it suppose to be an opinion about meeps?
I was joking!
Okay, then I guess I will stop telling jokes, put on some thick glasses and be a nerd and act.serious :) I will stop and i will just agree with everyone.
Pinkhaired, those last two posts were one sentence long.
(I cant stand it, I have to say something).
LOL. C'mon Pinkhaired! You can do it...Just (as my mom used to say) straiten up and fly right! :D |
So, What are these Meeps used for... maybe for the secret new product meep munches.
![]() ![]() ---So like, when is everyone goin to get an X-Box, I'm goin to wait likt 3 months after release. |
Abe Babe showed the picture where one is in a cage. They probably are experimented on in Vykkers labs.
Probaily for eye replacments, hehe
I like there big one eye. Heh. Its cool, but I would think its big round body would need more than a small leg to keep balance. Well, its not that big, but compared to its little leg it is.

These one-eyed, one-legged meeps(is that its name?) look very tasty, to me. They are probably used for food.
I think It seems a (odd) form of laboratory rat.
Bad Lampion! lol. Poor little guy...I hope he isn't processed for food!
Hate to say it... but knowing the Glukkons and they Vykkers ... it seems every native creature on Oddworld is either used for food or experiments.
Abe Babe... |
i agree that they are oddworld sheep. they are wooly, and that might be a young one. the name also sounds like sheep, and that's the kind of connection i expect eg. fleeches=leeches etc.
in fact, i already said that back in the old forums, but no-one saw it due to the move. |
I think their wool is used for clothing, then they're ground into delicious snacks.
Maybe they Muds use them as hackysacks.
What are hackysacks? Anyway, all those ideas seem to work...food, clothing, eye replacements, smile replacements...oh sorry.
They don't actually seem too wooly to me. They seem more carpetted, like really-worn-down carpetting. Maybe I've just been lying down close to the floor too much. Why shouldn't that leg support it? How do you think Slogs or Greeters stay upright (answers would be greatly recieved)? |
Slogs stay balanced because they're probably leaning back or something. And Greeters stay balanced because of artistic license
![]() |
I dont think it has wool...it looks like a little shell like Meetles have. I could be wrong though.
i wonder why so many creatures in oddworld have one leg. i mean think about it meeps gabbits rats and porbably others we have not heard about yet. just something to think about.
It looks more like a shell than wool, It must have to work hard to balance with just one puny leg.
Lot's of creatures have one leg on Oddworld, probably for the same rason lots of Earth creatures have four legs - evolution forks out, and it just happens that Gabbits, Meeps and Rats are more closely related than you'd think just by looking at them.
Well, okay, it's an example. |
Many creatures in Oddworld have one leg? Do they? Munch's is a Flipper so the only other creature I can think of is a Meep unless a rat or some other lesser known creature also has one leg.
