I found out today from Vykker sawbones who knew Him, Mudokon Hawker died in a car crash.:( I would just like every one, I don't care what religion you are to pray for our dear friend.

i was sent a PM from VykkerSawBones which contained this sentence, when he was asking me for a banner:

It's very tragic if he is dead. But if what Alcar said is true, I'm going to be pissed off. I've had enough of the "Oh no! He's dead!" "No, he really isn't." shit.

I'm sorry, he's dead. I hope he has gone to a better place.

That sentence didn't make any sense...

Even if I was of a faith that belived that praying for dead people was a good thing to do I wouldn't do it until I know he's dead - i.e. an admininstrator tells us that him and VykerSawBones aren't the same person.

According to the member list, Gabbit, ~MudokonHawker, and VykkerSawbones all have the same birthdate.

Gabbit and MH are from New Jersey. All three like to draw. 2 like games; the other likes to "play Oddworld."

Gabbit joined 03-08-02 and last posted 03-13-02.
MH joined 03-14-02 and last posted 03-21-02.
VSB joined 03-21-02 and last posted 03-31.

It would appear that whoever this is told you that he himself died in a car crash.

I would also like to point out that it is a violation of Rule 5 to have multiple user names.

Well according to Vykker Sawbones they went to the same school together. And His only friend was Gabbit ( mudokon Hawker ) He said Gabbit died in a car crash. Supposevel, Gabbit lost his password and reregistered as Mudokon Hawker... I want the truth!

Heh, ok i don't feel like pretending to be really sincere other than the fact this happens to e such a low down stunt fo ranyone to make..... If Gabbit/MH/VSB wants to be dead, just ban him or something. Cause I don't really ee a reason toher than maybe he might not ever come back to the forums and wanted a cool exit. And I hope he isn't laughing himself silly at lame attempts to sound nice and crap, cause then o boy, I'd track him down and paintball him the instant he steps out his door....

Everything I posted I got from the forums. Anybody else can see the same information for themselves.

I should add that his birthdate indicates that he's 10 years old, so I suppose that this can be written off to being a dumb kid. More grounds for establishing a minimum age limit for the forums, or at least part of them.

Al isn't gulliable. Some of us other forumers thought he was dead too. So Jacob,you couldn't care less whether Mudokon Hawker was dead or not?? Whether you knew him or not??? No offence Jacob, but that sounded heartless!! :fuzsad:

He told me that I was like his best friend when he joined and he like sent me a pm almost every day. But it has been almost two weeks and I havent heard anything from him. And when I went to my private message board he was alweys off line. I never saw the lad on line at all in the last week and a half or so. So I hope that hes not pulling are chains just to get attention. If he is then I could not forgive the kid. That would be a very rude thing to do. Fake your death just to get attention? That would be bad. So as far as I know this sounds like it really happen. I don't know but if it dident then I will be really really angry with him.:fuzconf:

I hope this is not true because gabbit/mudoken hawker was one of my buddies on the forums, we talked for quite a while about this oddworld fan thing he was starting. I so hope this is not true!:( :(

I'm just dreaming wistfully about not having to sift through so much garbage to find the nuggets of quality here. I'm not suggesting that a minimum age limit is really feasible.

I also support Sydney's basic freedom-of-speech approach here. He seems to pretty much let anything go short of blatant offensiveness and outright spam, and I'm not one to quarrel with that.

One price of having a free and open marketplace of ideas is that you get a lot of junk along with the good stuff. It's no different for the forums.

Having said that, though, I still don't think this is an appropriate place for a nine or ten-year old to be.

Someone could technically lie about their age and easily slip by. That is why there is no age limit.

True and sincere Majic Abe banning younger people is just not right, and unjust. I mean they can contribute more then the rest of us. So in turn I would vote on no age limit, also because there won't be one.
