not that i dislike fat people, but i dislike that particular fat person. even though he's dead. heh, i bet the maggots are chowing down on his clogged arteries as we 'speak'.

Meep...sorry to all non-Americans...Wendys is a fast food chain, dealing with mainly burgers and such. *licks jawS* they make excellent frosties...(chocolate milkshake)

Dave Thomas was cool, I go to the the fast food restaurants down by the Sears Tower.
Oh well, I love Wendy's burgers. :( :)

Here in Australia we have a Wendy's chain. I'm not sure if it's the same one, but this restaurant sells mainly milkshakes, icecreams and hotdogs. Their food is pretty high quality, I enjoy their milkshakes.

Besides, he died of liver cancer. I was so upset when my parents told me that he hit rock bottom. He was cool. I will never eat Wendy's again like I use to. And his night light would make me cry.

I know I'm late he died like a month ago I just havent been online in a while.

I live near Columbus Ohio, where the first Wendy's restaraunt ever was built. Not too soon after Dave died, they turned the restaraunt/museum into a Wendy's/Tim Horton's combo. How demeaning. Donuts and coffee don't go too well with a quater-pounder with cheese.

and how many of you people have actually met him? he was doing some autograph crap once and he was rude as hell. i mean if you ever met him, then i could understand if you thought he was cool...i mean jesus, he's just an owner of a friggin' fast food chain.

It was'nt funny on how you called him fat. You say making fun of people who have a mental disability bad, what about people who are obest? It's like your contradicting yourself. He was rude one time? Your rude now!

what do you mean non-americian? i'm none americian and when dave died it was on the news for a week. it's a shame really he was only in his 70's (for some reason i find that young) oh well everyone has to go sometime

i've never actully been to wendys but i sure wouldn't mind trying it out sometime.

i don't usually mock the dead, but Dave is different....and pinky, if your getting THIS worked up over Dave Thomas dieing, i sudder at the thought of what you would do if the Chihuahua from those taco bell ads was hit by a truck..oh wait, it's already dead i think.

Arhh i know that wendy's most australian's r not familur with it because here the only wendy's we have is the 1 that sells deserts, i have been to the wendy's u guys r talking about, i had it in Indonsia, make really good burgers and waffle fries, also like those frostie cup thick shakes to bad that wendy is not in Australia. :( :(

Well, I can't really weep for Dave Thomas, because I didn't know him and he never had any kind of influence on my life... I have to say though, wendy's has damn better food than *shudders* Mcdonalds... yes, Disgruntled's morbid jokes emitted a few giggles out of me...

like the funniest thing i saw in a mcdonalds was a list of why they are the 'superior' fast food chain...#48- 'Because our meat is round, not square." it just made me laugh hysterically. yes. lauuufdkjgsrgkg

What's the difference square or round it all taste the same to me.

It's always sad when someone dies, but I really didn't know the guy, so you can't completly he was a nice guy. But I guess if you go by the commercials, I guess he was a nice guy.

I wasn't attempting to start anything, I was attempting to stop the argument that was going on by pointing out to Pinky that Disgruntled never said anything against fat people... It seemed to work, actually... :D

I am proud to have only been into Macdonalds 4 times in the whole of my 16 years of life. On two of those occasions I was only a little kid, and on another one I was drunk, so really only one occasion counts...

Of course, being a vegetarian, I'm not keen on fast-food joints in general...

Still at least Burger King do some delicious Spicy Beanburgers... And they're English, which can only be a good thing... :D

Um yeah he did and I don't think you were reading carefully, as usual.

But I'm just saying, he has family members who were close to him. I don't think they would appreciate you calling him fat and stuff. How would you feel, if your grandpa was a wendy's guy and he died and someone made fun of him? Show some respect for the family because they are experiencing the lose, not you.

This topic was just up to honour this dead guy that's all, not an oppurtunity to start argueing again i mean really, respect the dead and please stop argueing, espically Pinky and Rettick, and don't say u guys are not argueing just look how many times u have quoted each other!.

But I wasn't arguing! Scroll up, and you'll see that I posted one post to try and stop the argument between Disgruntled and Pinky (which worked), and another explaining my actions. That's all. It's Tom that let himself get riled by Pinky this time...

Well, back on topic... here's a neat little fact-o-rama about me and Dave...

When Dave Thomas was 12, his father, Rex Thomas, brought him to Knoxville, Tennessee (my home town). Another neat fact is that Rex worked with my Grandfather on the Atomic Bomb project at the Y-12 plant in Oak Ridge. Neato!

I don't know about Rettick, I was'nt even arguing in the first place.

Now, back to the topic.

He was a good man because he set up the fund to help people who lost their families and need to be adopted. But why make fun of such a nice, albeit overweight man. But I will follow the Credo of humor always: If you laughted don't pretend to be offended
