Anyone who has CNN or any other news channels, put in on now this is too scary. I think it might be an attact on America. This might be WAR.

All those innocent people, dead... it makes me so sick!

WOW, CNN now calls it "Breaking news: America under attack!".
|
Everything suddenly shuts down, closes... you would almost think it's the end of the world! :(
|
I wached it on the news for about an hour and a half when I came home from school, rather than going straight online as I usually do.
This is just too frightening. It's believed to be an attack by fanatically anti-Jewish Palestinian terrorists, althouh Yasser Arafat has denied this. This must've been what the people who were around when Pearl Harbour was bombed must've felt like. This could very well lead to war. I hope that it doesn't. I was meant to be going on holiday to New York next Februaury, but I'm not going to now. I'm too frightened. Tony Blair says that Terrorism is the new evil. I really hope not. My deepest sympathies go to anyone who was injured or knew someone who was injured. |
Oh my God, I've just heard that eight planes were hijacked but only four of them have crashed. Where will the next ones go? What if they hit Canary Wharf? Oh my God, I'm so frightened. And only a few hours ago I was very happy and didn't have a care in the world. Oh, this is scary. Oh God, I hate this, I'm frightened, I'm frightened...
|
It's horrible...
Who does it? Why? |
You live your life to be happy. This is not only the opinion of queen Sligra (From my fanfic), it's my opinion too. This is not what life is meant to be. You live your life to be happy. Not to die in a hijacked crashing plane.
|
Oh my god. . . I've seen about it on the news. . . What the hells going on? Four planes unaccounted for?!! AUUGHH!!!! Ihey could hit here or something!! Even if I am nowhere near where they probably are most likeley to hit, this is still serious!!! ****!!!! HELP!!!
:O - Dark Hood. . . |
:( i saw on the news what happened it made me verry sad i hope that they catch the people who did this

I've been watching the news the whole morning, and this is the biggest and worst terrorist attack of all times. It's worse than Pearl Harbor, worse than Hiroshima and Nagazaki, not because of the number of victims, but because of the political and economical implications of such a surreal event.
USA is the brain of the civilized world, the most powerfull nation on Earth, and look what just happened to them. I'm really, really shocked, frightened about what is gonna happen from now on. George bush said that's gonna be retaliation, as soon as they can find out the authors of this horrible crime. Early in the morning, a Boing 767 crashed on one of the twin towers of the World Trade Center, in Manhattan, the heart of USA economy. The american people stared trying to believe as if they were in a weird nightmare. 18 minutes later, a second Boing 767 crashed on the second tower, making what seemed to be unbelieveble to become worse. Televisions of teh whole World showed the exact moment when the second plane crashed into a huge ball of fire. There were aproximately 40 thousand people in those buildings, in the moment of the attack. One hour later, the structure of the two buildings, injured by the collisions, fell apart, and both buildings disapeared in a cloud of smoke. Another airplane crashed on the Pentagon, in Washington, the military core of the USA. A fouth airplane crashed before it could get to it destiny, killing only the people in the plane. Otehr four irplanes are missing, and the menace is not over. This dark episode reflected in the whole world, many countries in Europe are taking actions to protect themselves against simmilar terrorist attacks, no terrorist group have already claimed responsability of the attacks. We'll have to stay tuned to know how this is gonna end. |
Come to think of that, this is just as bad as any massacre. . . Which have been going in the poorer countries. These massacres have been going on for a long time, but very few of them are reported on TV. This - in effect - is the same as a massacre in the USA, but they also destroyed a few improtant buildings at the same time. . .
Am I right or did I get things wrong again? However, loss of human life has been really great today. . . A moment of silence please. -DH |
Urg, people like these people make me sick  I hate killing, battle, death, fighting...things like that. I write about it because its interesting to read, not when it actually happens, then its scary. So I drew a picture of my furry character, Artemis mourning the deaths of the people. It's for everyone who died there or people who had loved ones who died there. Just take a look at it: I am so mad

The size of this event has still not hit me completely. Obviously, this sort of treatment to other people is absolutely ghastly, and an attack on such powerful forces is just sheer insanity. I wouldn't go anywhere near saying this could be the start of war, but this trajedy cannot ever be over.
The sad truth is, terrorism is the new evil in our world. In fact it's not even new - from the Crusades centuries ago, this sort of madness has been going on, and, against Tony Blair's hopes, certainly won't be iradicated for several years at least. To get to a more heartless note (which I feel I must bring forth), these terrorist attacks can be compared with Abe's attack on the Magog Cartel. I personally offer condolenses to anyone who has in any way been affected by this disaster, from the truely unthinkable possibilities I wish not to think about, to the disability of not being able to use your mobile phone because of the destruction of the phone masts on the building. |
You know what i find so sickening? I saw the kids in Palestina (or something like that!) dancing and being happy! all because the terroristic action and those americans dead! It makes me so sick and angry!

why, WHY is their so much sadness :( and death in the world. You live your life to be happy... Not to expirience things like THAT!

I was SO FRELLING SICK this morning that I ditched school and went home to call my family and friends to talk about this event. Most of the sickness comes from the sense of helplessness that we as humans have during an event like this; knowing there's nothing we can do. Am I right?
|
Oh my God, NYC is only 45 mins from my house. I'm so scared, I broke down into tears so many times today....a lot of my friend's parents work in NYC...even the Trade Center. My entire school was in semi-lock down...it was so scary....We were practicing for marching band and they made us practically run back into the school...I'm so scared...what if this turns into a war? And it was inside US borders on famous landmarks....I'm afraid of the threat of nuclear power being involved...or more attacks... I just keep on praying...
|
I saw it on TV just a few moments ago. I didn't believe it. It all started with something I heard on the radio, then I was barely listening. Then my brother called and said "have you checked the news today?". And as we did, I saw those horrible things. I'm scared. Things like this, it is too much.
I can't stop thinking about the poor people in those planes. What did they think? What did they do? How did they react? It horrible to think that human beings actually do this to each other for the sake of something probably unnecessary. Göran Persson talked about this on the radio, he said stuff about what we would do. He said that we would strike back. Maybe that is what they wanted us to do? This is sick and frightening, what will happen now? The worst thing isn't what have happened, it is what will happen. Because we don't know, this might be the world war 3. I just wish, nothing will happen. That this will be solved. I will probably not sleep tonight, I wonder how things will get after this catastrophy... |
The sad thing is, is that we can't do anything. The younger generation see the horrors of war, but the older (some, not all) are blind of the disasters. They cry when their loved ones die, yet laugh when the others do. It's a cruel world we live in, and you can't even ignore it. The fear drives you insane and you can't stop it. I really did hate it when the children started celebrating the death of others. Not because they were the death of Americans, but because they were happy. Perhaps they don't see the horror untill horror is doen to them. Perhaps they jsut don't care, or maybe the adults have blinded them, just as they did themselves

i heard about this while i was at school. the government teacher came in in the middle of class and told my teacher about it. this is horrible. the US is probably going to go into another depression becuase of this. another pkane hit camp david and one hit somewhere near pittsburg, pennsylvania. this is very VERY bad for us americans. those of you who live in other countires be glad for yoursleves right, but still, dont forget those who died. this is a terrible tragedy yet evryone in my school was making a joke about it. i dont think they understand the full implications of this. on the bright side, the president is till alive and now the government is taking serious action against it. all airports have been shut down and any plane that isnt headed for its specified landing place is going to be shot down for precautionary measures. i dont know where the president is but he was taken aboard air force one and shipped to an undisclosed location. on the news, they said there was another plane that was even more advanced than the air force one, with the most advanced technology in the world but he apparently didnt take that one. i hope everything turns out better than it already is, and the US wont suffer another depression, but you never know. maybe they will use a building for a temporary world trade cenetr to keep things going for the time being. i think that would be a good idea. but you never know.

Hi, I just got back from school and I can't belive this. All day long we where waching this and when I got home I saw the Palistinians celebrating on tv, and I must say that this really pisses me off, I hope we don't go to war though...

I feel sickened. The thing that I feel the most is an overwhelming sense of guilt: When I first heard that "There've been some terrorist attacks on the WTC and the Pentagon", my first thought was [and looking back I feel ashamed] 'good on em', thinking it was a small-scale anti-capitalist attack.
Then I learned of the sickening scale of these attacks, and that they were probably by Iraq, and that they might lead to a war, and I felt gutted. I can't help reminding myself that WW1 was started by a terrorist attack smaller than this... Also, if you think about it, Bush seems to have been waiting for an excuse to start a war, and when he finds out who did this, no-one's going to try and stop him from exacting revenge... To depress people even more, I thought I'd mention that tragedies like this happen all too often, but that it's only when it happens to America that it makes world news... |
that problem is that it will be very hard to retalulate against those who had done this...even if we find out who they were. This is mainly because terrorist groups are not necessarily tied to any one nation and/or country....
I hope the ones that are responsible burn in hell.... |
to Joe: in the less-disrution-the-better sense, it's good that Bush's alive. but in the not-break-the-Kyoto-treaty-and-piss-eveyone-off sense, it's a trajedy he didn't die.
you're right Rettick, he's been waiting to find a justification for his "Son of Star Wars" |
I can't understand this! How can they do this? They must feel ashamed for this... i saw it on every channel. I'm still watching the terrible news on the TV and see every minute how the World Trade Center falls into a debris. I got a message: this moment of silence message is dedacated to the thousands of innocent people who died in the horrible incident. take a moment to reflect and then please foward this message to 5 people so they can feel what you feel and dont break the chain
I wish that this will end...and not begin again. I hope it won't turns into a war! |
It's so horrible to think that anyone could do such a thing to so many people. Not only did they hit the World Trade Center, but they hit the Pentagon and crashed 5 miles off Pittsburg.
They think that the one in Pittsburg was heading for Liberty Hall. But he crashed early because fighter jets would have shot him down any way. I think he just figured he was going to die not matter what and just ended his life, but in the process he ended other people's as well. Why do people do things like this? Why do some people find it neccesary to end the lives of others. It scares me to think that another war is going to happen. All theme parks, malls, state and goverment buildings have been closed down. Not to mention all Cal Universitys have cancelled classes. And you know that they have huge security on all Major cities. Truth be told, I'm so scared that they might crash somewhere near L.A or near my town. I even more scared they might crash where someone I know lives. ![]() |
|
Gawd, this things on every channel, every group I'm in. It's a world affair. It's on the Japanise channels! What is with all the killing, it doesn't lead to anything. The worst part is is that the people who died did nothing to be killed for, they were just killed because they were doing their job and working at the WTC
|
I drew this when I got home... it shows my two feelings of today...right now I'm realived (because it's not the United States bombing Afghanistan), but the one on the right was a biggy: so mad I was crying.

Wonderful pic Dragadon.
I feel so sorry for the families of the people that died. Those people went to work thinking it would be just another day at the office, wondering what was for dinner, some of them couldn't wait to see thier spouses, and then in an instant, their life ends for no justifiable reason at all. |
That's really horrible. The man on the news just said that we are ready to go to war, but with whom? This is REALLY scary.
Hey, something just occured to me. Doesn't Pinkhaired live in NY? |
