Yup Xaiver your right that is a Mug. As for the Slig in the dress being the Slig Queen? Well... thats a very interesting idea. Who knows Oddworld is full of suprises, I mean why would a Slig wear a dress in the first place?

yeah I tought the same, but the pink hat slig was strange in the beggining too, but now it's pretty normal for us that he's only the GlockStar Valet

1. Does anyone here have any idea what Sam looks like?
2. Is she the only Mudokon female in existence, outside of fanfics? 3. If not, is she the only one who can lay eggs? 4. Which begs the question -- are there drone (i.e., functional male) Mudokons? If I recall correctly, Mr. Lanning did say that he based the sentinent races of Oddworld on the 'super species' -- namely, ants, bees, termites and the like. It would make sense to me that there would be more females ('queens', if you will) and drones, too. How many ants would there be if there was only one queen in existence at a time? Or no drones? Not many, I'd wager, especially given the propensity of humans to exterminate the little buggers. ;) As for 'giving birth' and 'unborn brothers' -- I was under the impression that these were distinctly mammalian terms. Maybe it should be 'laid' and 'unhatched brothers', respectively. (And yes, I can be annoying. Mwuah.) [ January 28, 2002: Message edited by: Musume ] |

urm, Xavier, the second pic you posted ins't a Mug...a mug is the 'industrial/bad' version of a meetle.

sorry i haven't answered and yeah this is the pic i wanted and it does look like the slig queen having mechincal pants and the little belt straps on the neck like a flying slig it has little belt straps on its head

I dont think its the slig queen she dousent look like she could lay eggs. And she seems to have one arm on here back. And it looks just too diferent from a slig. Even the gluk queen bears some resembblance to here children. She has 4 limbs of wich the front ones seem bigger like in glucks she has little versions of gluck ears, here head is atached to here boddy with a thik nek like in gluks and here upper lip/snout looks like that of a gluk. :fuzblink:
It looks more like something the vikkers thought up (it seems to have stiches on its stomack). With all that black leader and those zippers, straps and bukkles it looks like something from an SM nichtmare. (I can say SM right?) O and the sign on its head does anyboddy know what that stands for? It mich give us a clue as to what that thing is. :fuzconf: |

which would mean, this creature is owned by the Gluks... and how can you say it doesn't look like a slig? i mean it's DIFFERENT looking, sure, but- it is wearing a pair of mechanical pants just like a SLIG. i saw no vykkers labs symbol on the creature...even wykkers have the VL symbol on their heads and armor suits... and just like the Margret pic, we don't know if that's what she even looks like anymore, same could go for the second pic. |

Lorn Lanning had that picture originally for the Mug but he changed it and made it into what we know about the mug now. I think Lanning is going to use that creature that was suposed to be a mug be the slig queen. What is that symbol on the head? Could it be some kind of new slig symbol? Maybe? :p

In so far as I understand it, that ugly thing that everyone is talking about is what mugs were going to look like - like a "first draft" - but OWI since changed their mind and now they look like the little presonal photo someone posted above. Nobody outside OWI knows what old Skillya looks like yet (*shrugs* Maybe even they haven't decided, yet - that could be why we haven't seen a picture. But I doubt that).

Id say that the so called "sligqueen picture" that was posted earlier in this topic, looks quite like a ant queen (roughly). And nayby shes laying very smal eggs. Look at munch for an example, hes kinda big but they have tiny eggs like frogs. Im not saying that the sligs are born that way seeing that there not anfibius. Butt heck, they might be hatched from smal eggs.

i think its the slig quuen cus its got mech pants, kinda hunchs a little (like a slig) and also has a sort of mask. as for the symbol, i think it is a picture of the front of her or i think it looks a little like the pic that is in AE (2 sligs heads together, mostly seen in slig barracks)as for the eggs, it might take off the mechanical pants to lay them or it maybe lays them into the pants

Maybe the slig queen doesn't lay eggs. Ever think about that? this is a cool but desgusting idea. Maybe the slig queen pukes up a baby slig. The baby slig would come puking out of the the mouth of the slig queen and the baby would be this slimy desgusting pod that when it lands on the ground it starts to grow into a slig really fast. After the slig is fully grown some kind of crain picks up the new slig and drops the slig into a set of mechanical pants. When that is finnished the slig then recieves his mask. After the slig is dressed he recieves his gun and he goes and lines up to be taken to a factory to police it. Kind of like a slig asembly line. Flying sligs would be processed in a similar fashion. As for Big bros they are special. After the Slig queen pukes up anouther slig it is taken to a nursery to be treated and pumped with steroids after that a crain picks the big Bro and drops him into a set of Big Bro pants. Then he recieves his mask and weapon and gets transfered to a factory. The slig birthing complex could be runned by Vykkers. Because of the steroids. ;)
