Who is your Rival here at the forums?¿
I have noticed alot of people here at the forums have a rival, when i say revile i mean someone has joined the forums the same time as u, Or some that argue with u any chance they get. No i wouldn’t say they hate each other but either the rivals do it 4 competition against one another u know kind of like 4 popularetary, it doesn’t have to be a negative rival it can be positive like Abe babe and Syd, cause u know they both r admins but they do have there difference's. So all I wanna know is who is u’r revile? I’m not sure if I have 1 just yet but I will find out in a few more posts.

Hmmmm i'd have to say....The Oddworld Forums, not the people the actual website. It has a nice logo, but do i? No! It has members, do i? No! it has links, do i? No! and it has alot of other things... I think i'm becoming paranoid, my rival is website.....very sad this is. By the way, i was joking, i really get along well with most of the members, i don't think i have done anything to hurt anyone :fuzblink: |
Surfacing, I think the word you mean is 'rival'. A rival is an enemy, whether a serious mortal enemy (although you'd normally call such an arch-rival a 'nemesis') or, more usually, just a fairly friendly competitor.
'Revile' is a verb meaning to hate and despise. I think my rival is Steel Shark. We have very different views in both our choice of consoles and our religious beliefs, and we've often got into very heated arguments. |

Okay, maybe SS is a "Rival", but I hardly argue with him execpt when helping out my friends, so he may not count. Okay, I do have a few rivals in RL. Cuntycide Residentail being one of them. Oh, and Rochford District Council. There are a couple of school bullies from yonks ago as well, who I kind of want revenge on for what they did, but I won't mention them. Oh wait, I just did. I don't have a rival here, I try to be nice. I do have they occasional quarrel, though. I don't always like what Dan has to say... but I don't dislike him at all. People are entitled to their opinions. I'm sure I've said things others didn't like, also. But It's best just to settle differences, rather than let petty arguments make you hate some one... But if I was just joking, I would say Dave (Disgruntled) is my rival. :D I'll flog ya', you goth loser! ;) |
Nemeses (no, not a typo - it's the plural of Nemesis): Pinky, Statikk, SS. For obvious reasons.
Rival: Tom (Gluck Shmuck), because we are so alike... We don't argue, or if we do, we are on the same side, but still, we are rivals for the position of Forums Leftie... However, we recently resolved our similarities and agreed to become Allies rather than Rivals... :D [Or So He Thinks... :D j/k] |

I don't have many enemies on the forums, but I have made many friends. Out of all of them, my best friends would probably be Sal the Mudokon, Melvin, and Disgruntled Intern.

I have a lot of friends on the Forums such as Mud 101, Paramite Abe, Joe the intern, pilot, and all of the rest of you. My competitor would be Paramite Abe because we always share alot of ideas. :D

Syd, i'm sure u and abe babe r good friends but i think she out of any 1 would be the closest thing to a rival to u, but r u trying to tell me u have never had 1 arguement or 1 disagreement with abe-babe? The only reason i think she is the closest thing to a rival to u is because she is also an admin member, i'm not saying u 2 r worst enemy's in the world either, but u know syd even good friends have had an argument.

I don't have any enemys here in the forums. But sometimes there can be a disagreement with some members. But thats cool too because we all have are own opinions. Thats what makes these forums fun.

You don't have to have disagreements with someone to be their rivals. When I and Tom were being rivals (it was all good-humoured, don't worry...), we rarely disagreed on anything. Similarities breed Rivalry a lot more that Differences... |
