I dunno if anyone follows Game Grumps, I haven't watched it for years but funnily enough this came up on my youtube dash this morning. Maybe it'll be good for free advertising? I personally couldn't watch more than like 2 minutes because the players grate on me a lot.

I'm a huge fan of Game Grumps; The main guys. Not so much the other guys. They seem okay though. I'd still like it if Dan and Arin played it instead.

My biggest problem with the video is the screen is constantly shaking. Apparently, it was easily fixable and they just didn't do it. It's unwatchable honestly.

This was an awful video. 90% of it was them fooling around at the menu, and the shaky screen. They literally played 4 screens of the game.

I've unsubbed from GG a few months ago. Long after they stopped being funny.

Honestly, Matthewmatosis' video made a sizable mark I think. I could be wrong but I'm not sure "NnT is a shite game" would have much momentum without a popular Youtube critic behind it.

I didn't realise his video has over 165 000 views as for this moment.

That was one of the poorest YouTube videos I have ever seen. Nothing happened throughout the whole damn thing, and it's like none of them have ever played a game before. I can excuse their lack of Oddworld knowledge because they're not trying to be experts, but the production and everything in general just sucked.

The shaky screen is horrible. Not sure why they thought it would be alright not to fix it, unless it was an issue they weren't aware of until they actually uploaded it.

Cool that GG is covering Oddworld, even if it isn't the main duo, but still neat. I don't think I'm the target audience for this at all so there's not much enjoyment I can get from it.

Part 2 is up. They fixed the camera shake, but the brightness is way up.

They must have had problems with the capture device/software that caused shaking and switched it to another one that's got different brightness settings or something

That was horrible. I was so excited because "oh wow one of my fave games is getting publicity!" but this just makes the game look shitty. You couldn't even hear the cutscenes.

i didn't think they were too bad. they're stumbling through the game and playing it differently to how i would, which is refreshing. it's good that one of them has played the game before as a kid so he sort of knows the basics and can guide the other one through it, instead of just not having a clue whatsoever and getting bored or frustrated and not playing it again. i hope they finish it.

I can't stand Game Grumps. They're just Two Best Friends Play besides the part where they're funny.

Just watched part 2 of Game Grumps. Still not much progress.. Still shitty quality too. They really aren't doing Oddworld any favours!

i've heard they're only going to do ten episodes of this so i don't really see the point. they spend most of their time stood still talking about bullshit completely unrelated to the game anyway and the visual quality is wank.

If some of you dislike "Game Grumps" so much, then why do you keep watching his videos?

yeah the shaking stops after the first episode, then in the next two episodes the brightness is way too high, but after that they seem to sort their shit out.

lol vlam you're the one making that assumption, i never even said i don't enjoy it. the video quality was shit at first and the players irritate me sometimes but other than that i think it's ok.

what turned me off was the possibility that they might just make ten or so videos of this and then stop playing. i don't see the point in a let's play that ends half way through.

I don't really watch it, but I took a quick glance at ep6 and it's in good quality now

Why don't you support Havoc, Shade and Crashpunk instead? They deserve praise for their hard work.

Because maybe he doesn't like to watch people who play games and put it on YouTube as if it's a skill.

but for the record i already support CP and have watched a few of his LP's, i don't like speedrunning so i haven't seen any of Shade's work, and i didn't know Havoc had made an Oddworld LP so i might look that up in the future.

also i only watch this shit if it's enjoyable to me and as a way to wind-down, i don't turn it into a crusade and start watching every Oddworld LP out there in an effort to support them all. they may deserve support but i choose not to. i have more important fucking things to do.
