It is removed, but it remains on the Newest Five Blogs for some reason. It'll get buried and forgotten soon.

vBulletin is and always has been broken. Version 3 more than most.

Seriously just switch us over to Xenforo already. Vbulletin is a sinking ship. Everyone and their dog, every single major forum, has already bailed. Please can we bail as well?

I think it's pretty clear that Peter's already bailed on these forums. Unfortunately, he took the keys with him.

Can't we ask for them nicely? Or lacking that, lure him into an alley and take them? :D

I don't understand why you wouldn't hand over the proverbial keys if you're not involved in the site anymore. Even if it was a case of funding I'm sure the members that could would chip in, I sure would.

Nah, Peter is a control freak. OWF is somewhere on the bottom of his to-do list. And as long as it's on the list he'll get to it eventually and no-one needs to do it for him. Or so he keeps telling himself.

I suspect that Peter also feels a certain possessiveness because this place was such a big part of his adolescence. He doesn't want to give that up.

Didn't he go through hell (and drama) to get to his adminship as well?

Getting people to switch would be hard as hell and we wouldn't be able to use the same domain. I suspect it'd more likely that either the forum community here would die off due to separation or the switch would never be fully supported.

Remember that time we tried to get everyone talking on MA's forum? I thought not.

If people really want to take the forum over, we need to do it by force. Viva la révolution!

Not everyone wants to mix Facebook up with forums though. I mean, it can't just be me, unless it was a closed secret grpup I guess, but then how do you get new members.

Ah, AGF. That thing actually stayed open for a long time after everyone left. I eventually closed it following one of MA's nervous breakdowns. Poor sod.

Whatever happens with this place I hope the past remains preserved. It'd be a shame to throw away all the poop that has been collecting in its ancient crevices.
