This screen looks cool as fucking fuck for fucks sake.

Not sure whether that's good or bad, but yeah - dreamy.

I kind of wanted to watch it, but I shielded my eyes a bit because I want to be surprised. But I love the idea of a really long puzzle involving one Mudokon.

I hope Alf is still a bit of a dick!

Also, will this level be integrated within the main story? Or a separate level like Left Behind in TLOU?

It's separate. Selectable from Chapter Select.

The guys have worked wonders to create new gameplay elements, is all I'll say about that.

I literally haven't got a single criticism of anything I saw in that trailer. 110% unrefined awesomeness. That meat saw chasing Alf was the icing on the cake. Can't wait for the price to be announced!

Ok, so it's a big saw, but that was the last thing I expected to see, I had no idea that we would actually see new objects for this mission!

Also, do you actually have to rescue Alf to reach the end? What happens if he dies? I'm assuming the challenge here is to keep him alive.

"At least a couple months work" was the last they said about it. And "Sorry we don't yet have a release date for New 'n' Tasty on _____. We'll announce it when we know it." I don't know how the OWI Tweeter doesn't just rip their hair out repeating that phrase every day.

I noticed that too! All the little details they've put in this game are so great. Alf also mentions brew at the end of the song he's singing. That was the only word I could make out, anyway.

Still, this is really, really awesome, I'm glad the people at JAW took the opportunity to make new puzzles with new set pieces and stuff. :) Good trailer, too.

I thought he was a Soulstorm addict. Maybe he actually vended it? Or sold it contraband, who knowwwws.

This DLC sort of reminds me of Zulag 10 of Soulstorm Brewery, where you had to keep a single slig going as long as possible to wipe out multiple screens of sligs and turn off an electric gate.

Yeah same here, I thought he set up Alf's Rehab and Tea to help those hooked on brew, he even says in the good ending of AE "I had my first brew, when I was with Abe in a desert"

You have already made the dlc better.

Seems totally Alf, though. Essentially creates his own brew, gets addicted to the real deal, then starts a Rehab & Tea and won't let other people share, pushes Abe down a well yet won't follow because it's too high for him. Alf's a jerk I tell ya.

Well, there goes my theory! I don't know why, but I was under the impression the conspicuous door in the secret area added to Zulag 4 would somehow be the entry to Alf's Escape.

Regardless, great trailer, and I'm looking forward to the challenge. Are there any plans for more DLC in the future, or will efforts be refocused toward subsequent titles?

We wanted people to be able to play it immediately. :)

Maybe you'll find out more about Alf than you thought in Alf's Escape...

No new CGI, no. It's a self contained adventure and doesn't really warrant any story cut-scenes.

It would have. But people who paid money for the DLC might not have wanted to have to play all the way through to the end of the game before they can play it.

Well you had to play to the end to get some DLC in Fallout 3 haha.
