Am I the only one who is completely surprised by the winners? Not a single one of these were what I thought they would be. Most of all was the 15 slig deaths, I would have bet my hair on Sligstorm winning. And I have a lot of hair.

I wasn't expecting the Boombat and Slig one, but the other ones seem about right.

Sads because Jawbreaker didn't make the cut

These do surprise me quite a bit. I like all of them, but for every one of them, there's a runner-up that I prefer.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised. None of my choices got selected, but now that I look at the winning names, they fit perfectly with the game. GG guys :)

They suck.

I think that this should be further evidence that this forum is not an accurate cross-section of Oddworld fandom.

I think some of the runners up are a lot better than the winners (none of what I voted for won, heh), but I'm glad OWI are doing competitions like this. :)

I'm just disapointed I saw that the erties were closed when I come back from vacation I would have loved to submit Bat-A-Boom as an achievement name :p

You know as much as I’m disappointed that none of the entries I voted for won, I think the winners are pretty decent. And when I look at it, the ones I liked are all semi-obscure references that perhaps not many people would get – how many fans outside of these forums know what Abe-a-Go-Go is, for example?

As much as I am disapointed in the winning selection, I'm still glad they did it. These are what the fans wanted, and that's what they should be. The competitions are a good thing though.

True, we need some more competitions, I haven't won one of those signed posters yet. :p

Alas, I am a mere runner up. I suppose Sligstorm may have been a bit too obscure for the more casual fans, but I've got to say I was surprised by the amount it lost by. Fair to say I'm a bit gutted.

Looking forward to my free OddBoxx, though. :)

Damn, some of the winners really were not so great. I was kinda like, ah everyone here is just moaning like they always do...but then I saw the winners and damn.

I agree, I didn't make the runners-up (a good thing as mine were abominable) but I still feel a little bit disappointed with some of the winners.

Next competition: naming the mudokons, ranking the sligs, and giving all the grenades serial numbers.

Don't worry, we don't get given enough download codes to support that.

I think the one that most captures the spirit of the original two Oddworld Games is "Rupture Farms: Now Hiring."

It'd be even funnier if they got rid of the birds in N&T.

I was gonna make a separate thread but I don't want to cause clutter.

This new screen looks brilliant. Like, attention to detail and effort is evident. (Minus the comic sans. You evil bastards)

I'm mainly saying this because the scrab proportions look perfect. They look like a beastly size that looks threatening.


Also, we've been hinted at a spring release. Not gonna lie, getting pretty hyped.

Meh. I feel some of the entries were a bit better but oh well.

I hope more competitions come along. :)

Knew mine wouldn't win from the moment I saw the competition but it was fun all the same to get that far! I already have the OddBoxx so I'm just gonna gift it to someone.

Where the Fudge is the OddBoxx Codes for Runners up? I'd like to give it to someone that doesn't have the Oddboxx. luckily i already bought them all on the PS3.

And what's up with the recipe contest codes from Thanksgiving? I still haven't received mine...
