I'm starting to regret my vote. I could have chosen the option for me to shut up and they'd give me money

I assumed Shut Up and Take My Money was a vote for all so I did that.

I is scared 'cause Fangus Klott or whatever it is is currently second. That's bad because, that's the bottom of my list. Sure, it's an Oddworld game but it isn't an ODDWORLD game. If you get what I mean. It's not Abe or anything, and I think it'd be a terrible choice to make that any time soon and am suprised that it's second on the list. People have waited for Oddworld for so long.... it'd be ashame for the first all new Oddworld content we get to not be proper Oddworld. :P

Also Munch's Exoddus and Abe's Exoddus HD would be great.

It is, but that's still a different place. It's not Abe Oddworld, which I think they should focus on Abe Oddworld before they do any 'Away Missions'.

AE HD 'cause if they're gonna do a reboot, they may as well go all the way with it. With Abe HD done, they'll already have many of the assets that they'll need. And it's not as if they can't do more original Oddworld things after.

I'd love to see Sligstorm as a bonus game at some point, though.

As sligstorm is supposed to be the size of Slig Barracks, it wouldnt take as long as making a game the size of Abe's Oddysee/Bigger. The brief storyline is great about an albino slig born into a world where mutants are killed, it really brings out the darkness oddworld has to offer, so in my favour: 1st choice is Sligstorm, 2nd Choice is Squeek's Oddysee (Been waiting 13 years for a new oddysee!!)

I am so torn between Sligstorm and Squeek's Oddysee it physically pains me.

If he can't be more gentle you should just break up with him.

Everyone should vote for Squeek's Oddysee or "Something Completely New". I'm sick of Munch, I'd rather see something completely different than more of the same.

Stranger's Wrath was anything but sissy-pinky. Fangus looked to me like a shameless shoehorning of a "mature" title, because that's the direction games were taking at the time.

If Fangus does end up getting made, you could rename it "Dark N' Edgy" and release it in a two-pack with New N' Tasty.

It started moving away from being Oddworld shortly before they stopped working on it, but it was originally meant as an Oddworld game and Lorne has said if they went back to do it they would go from the original concept.

Ah. Well I still think Fangus looks like Oddworld as interpreted by Christopher Nolan, so no thanks.

Of course you can deduce all this from a couple pieces of concept art, clearly they had no vision at all, just label is dark and edgy.

Oddworld should have more darkness because it makes this universe more scary and - more dangerous. Abe's Oddysee was full of it.

As much as I would love to see Exoddus HD, it would just be a revisit of a place and story we already know. And after all these years, quite frankly, I want some story progression instead of fancy graphics.

I sort of want to find out if Munch's Exoddus would be the quest for a can opener that's just as squeaky as Munch's wheelchair...

I think I may have to actually sit out and think this one through a bit. But I think I'm leaning towards Sligstorm or Squeek's.

Well nothing involving Munch since Munch is a shitty game and Munch is a shitty character.

I was pretty enthusiastic about the idea of sligstorm when I was younger.

Though to be honest, I'd much prefer a new Oddysee to watching Munch jizz in a tin can at Ma' Spa.

You're sick of Munch because MO was not a great game. But if JAW could make ME everything that MO was meant to be, and also good, that'd be worth it.

But I have my doubts that it's possible to make a game the size and complexity of MO/E without a team of 100+ people in this current game landscape.

That's what I think. If nothing else a small team couldn't capture the striking visuals required for the Next Big Thing from Oddworld.

I really think we need something new from Oddworld before people get sick of the idea of HDing older titles. I voted Sligstorm, but AEHD might well be feasible if N'n'T sells enough.

I think you guys need to have a little more faith and realize that it's entirely possible no matter how big the team. The quality of the final game is entirely dependent on the effort put into the project, not how many.

Less people just means it might take longer to make, is all.

I agree with that for gameplay and even music, but simply having more people makes higher quality graphics much more feasible.

Yeah, thats true indeed. Man, I really hope that Fangus will win and we all will have pleasure to play something like "Dark N' Edgy". Then, Owi can make Abe's Exoddus HD for example. Fangus as break game could be nice touch for the series.

I get what you're saying, but I'd still rather see something totally new than for JAW to burn the money, time, and potential on a band-aid game that follows a character we've already seen before.

Even though we didn't necessarily see it through to the end, I feel like Munch's quest is already done. He's got the Gabbiar. Sure, you could maybe squeeze another adventure out of finding a can opener/taking the eggs to Ma'Spa, but eh...

I would like to see the whole subplot involving Maggie and Molluck that was scrapped, but since Gorman Disenza and Maggie's grandmother were going to be keystone plot points in Squeek's Oddysee, perhaps it could be added to that story instead?

Aye but it doesn't mean they'll go with it. Though AE might be quicker to make then you'd think considering they have a lot of the assets and the engine required from AOHD.
