Hello, fellow Oddworld Inhabitants!
I've had an account on this board for years, but it seems that I...forgot. Funny how things slip your mind, eh? Well, I'm gonna try my very best to be an active member of this board. So...maybe I should tell you who I am and such, right?
Well, on the web I'm mostly known as Walter44 or Valtharr. I'm currently 18 years old (going towards my 19th birthday in December) and I live in Germany. I play Oddworld pretty much since I play video games which is pretty much since I can think...or about ten years or so. I started wit Abe's Exoddus which was one of the games I kind of "inherited" from my cousin when I got my Playstation. I always like telling the story of how I got into it, because I kind of got intrigued by Oddworld, before I even played it. Heck, I was even kind of afraid to play it. Because, you know, I was 8 and the box said it was for people of age 12 and up and there was this strange green man looking at me with his creepy eyes. But I always read in the instruction manual and looked at the pictures of these creepy, disgusting but also pretty cool creatures. So one day, I come home from school and my little sister is playing it! From that moment on, I thought "Heck, when she can play it, I can do it too!" And that's how I got into it. Later I also got AO and MO and I still have to play through Stranger. I think Oddworld kind of influenced me in more than one way. It was the first time I was confronted with such creativity outside of the regular Fantasy-clichés and also the first time I was confronted with such beautifully disgusting creatures. Also, it kind of introduced me to stealth gameplay. I still enjoy playing things like rogues and thieves and assassins and such.
Besides Oddworld, I also enjoy other video games, comic books, Pen-and-Paper-RPGs, TV Shows etc. I consider myself a geek, a Whovian and a Brony (please, no hate, okay?)

So yeah, that's pretty much me. If you happen to have any kind of questions, feel free to ask!

Eh, alright, I mean, I've come here to talk about Oddworld, not MLP. I have other forums to do that. So, what do you do around these parts to have some fun? Besides invading Sonic forums?

The idea of trolling other forums only recently occurred to us, and by us, I mean Manco.To non-bronies. You seem disgusted by the idea! I remember how you acted in the thread... It was pretty funny actually.

I understand. I don't like it either, when my fellow Bronies try to force someone into watching the show. I mean, yeah, I like it, I like a lot of the people who like it and I'd like other people to watch it, too. But if they don't want to...alright. On the othe rhand I also don't like people who get all bitchy just because some says he likes MLP or has Pony-Avatar or signature or whatever. Live and let live.

You're confusing me. What happened?
Well, my sigpic is a link to the original thread, click it and see what exactly went down for yourself. It actually shows my evolution into a brony as the pages go on. It actually starts from page 8, I'd recommend reading the whole thing so you can really get to grips with this forum, how it operates and how it thinks.

It used to be okay. Then the troll army became too powerful, drove away all the normal members, and now we are a forum of cunts, cunting at each other.

We used to talk about Oddworld, but there just isn't anything left to discuss, this forum's been active for 12 years.
We plan on changing the name to Bill Murray forums.

Well, at least there seem to be new games coming, right? And if that doesn't deliver, then maybe change it into the "Bill Murray in Oddworld Forums". A whole forum dedicated to photoshopping and modding the likeness of Bill Murray in everything Oddworld-related...

It's some sort of Swedish meal I'm quite fond of. I was so happy to find other enthusiasts of Swedish cuisine...
