I have a plasma ball, but I never turn it on because I'm afraid it'll explode or something.

My plasma ball makes a really irritating whining noise when it's plugged in, so it's unplugged now.

Well, when you have the plasma switched up to the full level, it makes hardly any sound, and has beautiful plasma strings! That are attracted to your fingers.

Plasma balls are so weird.

I have that walkthrough, Nep. I have the one for AE too. My parents would buy walkthroughs for virtually everything. I only ever used them as reference material to draw from the game because they were usually filled with concept art and fully rendered models of the characters. Or at least, I did until the internet cartwheeled into my life.

Those things are saviors to me. And to everybody, for that matter, since they are the ones who help us making 99,99% precise maps. I have worked with some and I really like 'em. But they're expensive as fuck.

My electric guitar/amplifier/fxpedal that sadly is no longer working as of recently. Shame. Now I can only play with boring default amp sounds. Oh well.

There's also a copy of Munch's Oddysee here. Huh. Never noticed that before.

By the way the device on the photo is a high-precision one (1'' angular accuracy). I bought mine to measure old power transmission towers (which had no technical documents available for them, not even basic geometric measurmens) at work. Since then the device is unused, but I'd agree - it's a very good instrument.

Well, he was at GamesCom 2011. It was nothing too special. You could stand in line, let him sign his autographs and maybe other things you brought with (one girl seemed to have brought her entire Mario collection with her), shake his hand, exchange some words, let your photo be taken, and off you went. Still pretty cool, though ^^

I always think these special editions for Assassin's Creed are pretty damn cool.

That is quite nice. I have the Ezio statue from AC2's collector's edition, that would go well with it.

I have that one as well. I've stalled them out on both sides of my TV :). On the picture you can see it hidden away in the background under the flag.

Need for Speed Most Wanted was on display in Cardiff yesterday, I didn't even know it was coming to Cardiff. I just happened to see it on my way to a job interview in Cardiff. Basically, groups went in to play on about 12 PS3's hooked up together, we were all put in the same match, without going into too much detail, whoever had the most points at the end of the match got to play again this time in a racing seat hooked up to a 103" Plasma Screen telly, which was awful!

Everything was stretched out, had jagged edges to it and it had a slower frame rate, because I won again they gave me a free T-Shirt. There is a NFS Most Wanted logo on the left sleeve.

How is Most Wanted? Is it like the original with a makeover or is a completely different game with the title recycled?

It's a complete clone of Burnout Paradise, not surprising considering it's from the same developers, so finally we are going to get a decent NFS game again.
