The mods were nice enough to give me a name change, and advised me to make this thread. So now I’m “Manco”, which is nice because I use that name pretty much everywhere else.

For me, it means I can now post without having a stupid-sounding name follow me around*.

For you, it means you can now scorn my posts without also scorning a stupid-sounding name.

“OddHunter” is gone, now let us never speak of it again.

Not gonna lie, I really preferred OddHunter. But then I preferred Kastere as well.

Kastere will always be known as Kastere to me. it's been too long. same with Ghost.

And if you'd had a username before MA, I certainly would remember it.

The problem I had was that I registered with that name back in 2007, when I was a lot dumber and younger. It really had that “hey, I’m such a big fan of the games there’s a reference in my username!” kind of feel that just made it sound like it was written by a kid.

I don't know, I just associate it with your old Clint Eastwood avatar. You were just a Hunter of things that were Odd, like Van Helsing or something.

Everyone loves that Clint avatar for some reason.

Walking home last night, I genuinely thought to myself "What was Strike Witch's previous username?" and I just could not think of it.

Tell me about it. Then again, I was 13 when I registered, so the kid part is true.

I actually wanted my name to be changed to just "Sekto", but Wil said the name was taken by some guy who joined like four years ago and posted twice.

Manco was the name of my dad's pet chinchilla.
