The best character you ever created

If you have any good creations of character u would like to share, it would be a good time to show them to let people see how creative you are. They don't have to be the best of course. It can be anything you made. Heres an example: http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/3525/...eingspirid.png
This Creation is called Spiridon. He was used in Cold War (Wars of the Art 3). Your Creations Don't have to be from any of the Wars of the Art threads. It can be anything you made from scratch. Enjoy this thread =D

Dynamithix 10-08-2011 11:58 AM

What the heck.

Crashpunk 10-08-2011 01:30 PM

I've never made a character up. I'm not that creative.

Mac Sirloin 10-08-2011 02:09 PM

I think that the best character I ever came up with was Gazmuk. He was an overweight, middle-aged caucasian pedophile who had a gasmask strapped around his face so that he couldn't breathe on little boys.

STM 10-08-2011 02:33 PM

....but...you have a gasmask. SHIVERS.

DarkHoodness 10-08-2011 03:34 PM

I came up with several original characters when I was a lot younger, when I created the concept of a future earth dystopia where, in order to survive harsher environmental conditions, humans have altered themselves to take on some physical aspects of different insects. Then I canned the ideas and didn't develop them further 'cause they were too cheesy and cliché, but at the same time I haven't forgotten about them. Now that I understand more about what makes a good, interesting story, maybe I'll do something with them one day if I can get off my arse.

My WoW avatar (in version 4.3, you can change the appearance of your armour, yay) is the only character I've "made" lately (from a selection of available parts). Although she only has a name (Vasundhara), no backstory, and very little personality, aside from the fact that she's a small, weak-looking dwarf with the ability to kill almost anyone (provided they're PvP flagged).

My friends were playing on a roleplay server, so I joined them on it. I don't want to stump up the £15 to move servers on top of what I already pay in subscription fees, plus I'm among one of the better PvPers on the server and would like to keep it that way. Roleplaying on WoW may be fun for some, but nerdy as I am, I simply find doing it to be far too strange - Watching others do it provides some entertainment though, and at least my character now looks the part. "Re-designing" her and finding different armour that more or less matched was fun:

It's a trap!

MeechMunchie 10-08-2011 04:11 PM

I've made a lot of superheroes in my time, most of them ridiculous. But each one got a proper fleshed-out character and a backstory. Examples include:

The Flaming Sponger
Captain Cuttlefish
The Crimson Cobbler (of The League of Heroic Tradesmen)
Le Critique
The Duvet Crusader
Bounce The Mighty Midget

I also tried building an entire RPG universe once. The races were pretty good. I got every major group of land-dwelling or amphibious animals represented and anthropomorphised, with continential variations.

Also I'm partway through a Periodic Table of Elementals.

Okay, secretly I'm into a Fallout themed RPG forum...yeh, I made some character there. *cries*

I came up with him at school with my best mate many lonely maths classes ago.
Of course, he looks a lot better on paper :/

The Minecraft forums are full of stupid and immature twats.

Crashpunk 10-09-2011 03:04 AM

Yeah, This fourm is the only one thats worth sticking round.

Mudokon_Master 10-09-2011 03:11 AM

I know, I know :<

STM 10-09-2011 03:46 AM

I'm only active on two forums, I don't have enough time nor do I have the inclination to waste my life away on any more.

Havoc 10-09-2011 03:54 AM

Even though I've been writing for a while, I don't have many characters worth mentioning. Maybe Charger, from the RPG here on OWF. Some of the old guard know who I'm referring to :)

Furthermore I think Carnix's Fuzzy Messes are absolutely briliant in their simplicity.

STM 10-09-2011 04:00 AM

Splat's character with its revamp is actually really amazing, I keep staring at it and wondering how he did it.

MeechMunchie 10-09-2011 04:12 AM

I still maintain that it's a Yith.

http://www.projectrho.com/rocket/ima...s/aliens09.jpg

Though more recent portrayals are less cute.

STM 10-09-2011 04:30 AM

Oh shit I know what that is, it's from the Call of Cthulu P&P game isn't it? If I'm right, my self estimations are going to fall dramatically.

MeechMunchie 10-09-2011 04:47 AM

No, it's just from the HP Lovecraft story The Shadow Out of Time. They come from across space to 'borrow' beings' consciousness so they can study history firsthand.

STM 10-09-2011 02:22 PM

Yep, I knew it then. =(

Bullet Magnet 10-09-2011 03:23 PM

I had whole pages of characters I drew as a kid. The Rock-Eating Fish was one of the most lasting.

More recently there have been faces such as Kid Kraken and Jacques the Spider.

http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs14/f/20...let_Magnet.jpg

I have others from various stories I've been working on. Also on my former Sporeum forum, one of the long-running threads essentially turned into a great big role-play as a result of my weirdness, in which eventually we learned the true face of BulletMagnet, seen here with his clone protege.

MeechMunchie 10-10-2011 12:16 AM

Dude, where's your mouth?

Or are you talking out of your ass as usual? :P

Bullet Magnet 10-10-2011 05:55 AM

For the purposes of game mechanics, its hidden inside the eyes.

For the purposes of biological feasibility, shut up.

STM 10-10-2011 09:18 AM

They photosynthesise all but blue light by the looks of things. I can't believe you didn't think of that BM you blithering fool. <3

Bullet Magnet 10-10-2011 09:26 AM

In the story all our bagels came to life and went on a rampage. No one got to eat anything.

MeechMunchie 10-10-2011 09:33 AM

Spore will not be satisfactory until there are options for filter-feeding, internal synthesis and skin diffusion.

I did a short series of comics once about the relationship between the archtypal 'Angel & Demon' consciences and their attempts to do their job in a modern world of grey areas. In case I ever needed to expand the cast beyond The Demon, The Angel (Gary) and their ward's neck, I also drew an image showing what they had on their shoulders, and what those guys had on their shoulders, and so on for about four stages when they got too small to draw.

Bullet Magnet 10-10-2011 11:18 AM

I have three consciences. A good one, a bad one, and a Paramecium.

MeechMunchie 10-10-2011 11:45 AM

Which is why in 1/3 of situations you will respond by wiggling slightly and moving forwards.

Bullet Magnet 10-10-2011 01:10 PM

What makes you think I listen to the Paramecium? It's field of expertise is limited and not very practicable.

Dinosaurs with swords.

LOL PAGE STRETCH CAN'T BE ARSED TO FIX

Bullet Magnet 10-10-2011 03:40 PM

That is extremely similar to one of my ideas. Except mine, in their era, mostly use flintlocks these days, and their faces have evolved into beaks.

I love the way you changed the sword to work with their anatomy. I've developed two types for mine: one is very much like yours except that it doesn't sweep back so much so it can be swung out to point fully forward using only a wrist motion. The other came out over the back of the hand, a bit like a Wolverine claw.

It is stupidly difficult to design tools and weapons for creatures whose arms don't even bend like ours.

Scraby 10-10-2011 03:53 PM

i have created many characters, including the wota character dr stickman,i also made a character in spore witch i really like and his name is Omnipotent Crocix and he hails from the mighty Croco empire

I'm also impressed by how scientifically up to date your Dromaeosaurid is. Minus the crafted artifacts, of course.

The alternative is this.
