Portal 2 DLC - October 4th!
Woot!
"Free Portal 2 DLC coming this summer!"
"Free Portal 2 DLC coming this September!" |
:
that was awful, I apologise |
What's October 4th in Valve time again?
December.
2013.
Is it out yet?
It's only 3am in Washington State. Give them a break.
Well, it's 2.30PM here and no sign yet.
I mentioned Washington State for a reason, Dynamithix. That's where Valve is located, so would be the most relevant timezone.
Oh. Didn't realize.
Now you can download it on Xbox Live!
Edit: Ah crap, sorry for double post. |
I just played though the new Co-Op levels with Havoc. Its seriously challenging and really funny. Well worth the wait :)
The cutscene at the end is bloody brillent too. |
My jackass friend already played it through with his asshole of a friend even though he was supposed to play it with me so is anyone up for the co-op DLC with me on Xbox? I'd really rather play it with a friend, I've tried co-op with a stranger, but it's such a pain in the ass especially if your partner doesn't speak at all...
Hit me up if you're up for it. GT: Ronzie4Lulz |
Apparently you need to finish the regular co-op campaign before you can play the DLC. I really need to find someone to play it with.
Me and havoc didn't use Mics and we were okay. It must of taken longer but it was fine.
Also I don't mind playing the Portal co-op with you Phylum. |
I'd like to play with someone, but I can't be arsed coming into work just to do that. I really need to get the net set up in my house.

Ah okay :)
God that last chamber is just pure hell. Damn you Valve for making my brain hurt!
Perfected bunnyhopping to a useable degree. Now I just need to record this stuff with a partner. |
Thats pretty impressive since I thought they patched bunnyhopping on the Source Engine. How did you pull it of?
Alot of practice. Mine still isn't perfect but it works and that's the main thing.
I actually bound +jump to the mouse wheel so I never touch space bar. Allows for a little more control. All humanly done of course; scripts are for pussies! |
Double post but this went rank 3/4 on the global leaderboards. Also you guys should try for best times, it's really not that difficult. |
looks like the next DLC is a map editor thing. guess that means more content for all?
http://www.joystiq.com/2011/10/21/po...ves-early-nex/ so it should be out this time next year :O I'd like single player DLC but i'm not sure they'd make that |
Wow, that's a long wait.
Oh that's going to be awesome. Finally make some maps without having to know 3D modeling programs and such.
I don't think we'll see single player DLC though. Chell's story has been told and introducing a new character for the DLC isn't really going to work I think. |
I would love storyless single player DLC if they staged it as a series of challenge maps.
Yeah. Just have a robot doing a random series of tests.
You could still do single player DLC where Chell is having nightmares and is remembering the type of things she was made to do in Aperture Science. That would be so unValvey though.
Yeah it could be some 'failed tests' - test maps which were deemed to hard for test subjects, [i.e challenge maps]
Just some single player maps so i don't need to get my gf on to play them! speaking of which, i've yet to play the new DLC :O |
I really want Single Player DLC but I doubt it will happen. Chell's story is done with, Well kinda
