Oddworld’s getting some official t-shirts at long last! Two Stranger’s Wrath t-shirts designed by Insert Coin, made in advance of the HD remake release. They’re not available to purchase yet, but the blog post says they’ll available “very soon”.

They do free worldwide delivery too, which is nice.

I forgot about the fake shit that we were teased with. BUT I ARE EXCITE FOR THIS! I think I'd get the Sekto Springs one, I really like the logo. It's nice and crisp.

In my opinion the New Yolk City one is pretty funny, but the Sekto Springs one is pretty boring.

That news just made my day.

I now can wear something that officially advertises Oddworld.
I don't care how much those shiny garments cost, I WANT THEM ALL. Omnomnom.

Except it doesn't really advertise Oddworld. If you actually get the reference, you undoubtedly already know about Oddworld. (Although I wouldn't be surprised if there were a small Oddworld logo somewhere, say behind the neck at the top.)

Is it bad for me to want AO and AE t-shirts over these ones? Meh, these are pretty sick.

I'm not very fussed about them designs at all. If they make some Abe's Oddysee/Exoddus designs i'll be more intrested.

Considering JAW is working on Stranger's Wrath HD at the moment, it makes sense that there are Stranger tees at the moment.

If anything, this has worked as great advertising. I browsed through the shirts on their website and ended up buying three of them, and I'll undoubtedly buy at least one of these two.

I also prefer black, but I'm not getting these on the pretense that the colors are plain awful. Not saying the shirts are bad, just not my taste.

I am neither Emo nor Goth, but I prefer the style of the Gothic.

But I just don't wear anything that's not black, unless it's work related or so.

What I want is a black shirt with the Oddworld logo on it, simple.

What I want, is for them to sell blue spray paint and brown loin cloths.

Do you need them to sell that? I'm sure you could get those items elsewhere.

I'd love to have a Soulstorm Brew shirt and a Bonewerkz shirt. Those would be really nice.

Official merchandise (like statues etc) is mostly handpainted as well, so some bottles of paint still won't tell for 100% if it was fan made or factory made.

Or maybe this is Lorne his desk? Might still be " fan" made, but I think some real fan would pay alot of money for it if this was true.

Really, you could make a print of the actual logo with ease.

I hope this is the beginning of a whole range of merchandise. I wasn’t active in the days when OWI was around and missed a lot of stuff, and merch wasn’t common then either.

I still have a black Abe's Exoddus t-shirt. One of my most prized possessions.

Both sides have concept art. The front has a mudokon hanging upside-down in a Tear X-tractor with the caption "Odd To The Last Drop". On the back is a flying slig holding a bomb and the caption says "In Odd We Trust".

Would anyone here really go out with their friends in an Oddworld t-shirt? Though I still really would like to own Oddworld clothing even if I won't wear it in public.

What’s so bad about that? It’s no worse than wearing a band shirt.

insert coin prefer to do oblique references to games; rather than just plonking a great big oddworld logo on the front, they like to advertise the companies inside the actual game.

These two are to coincide with our release of Stranger's Wrath. We'll be sure to get t-shirts released that are pertinent to each of our releases as we go.

I'm probably getting both of these tees and a Stratgety guide from eBay...

I do like this approach and will probably end up buying that Sekto Springs shirt when it gets released.

That said, I would love to see t-shirts released that are more direct—personally I feel that the art and style is part of the huge attraction of the Oddworld series, and it would be a shame if that wasn’t leveraged in some way.
