The reputation bars are tiny so that the user information box isn't stretched.

Tiny is fine, but they just look like coloured blurs. If you hadn't seen the Mudokon emotion icons before, you wouldn't have a clue what they were.

Well, this is a forum dedicated to the Oddworld series.

The only icon I would consider blurry is the Wired mudokon - and even then it's only its eyes.

At such small dimensions, you have to forfeit certain features.

Just because times change doesn't mean we should change everything regardless of taste. Some things are better left untouched. I'm sorry but the new icons are ugly, the wrong size the wrong shape. The old ones were much better in my opinion. Some of us do care, which is why a poll should have been done in the first place to see if everyone would like the new icons.

The old icons were plain and boring. I jumped on these are they are Oddworld-themed and work nicely.

Don't change them back, this will probably be the most interesting thing to happen here for years.

Most other forum changes are gradual and/or discussed prior to implementation. I'll keep quiet for now until more people give their opinions.

I like the happy mudokon symbols. But I think that the wired mudokon symbols look too blurly. But overall I like them. It is an Oddworld theme after all.

I think that maybe just taking the happy mud picture and changing the colour to green might be ideal, to get rid of the creepy blurriness.

This forum is about Oddworld. So why have rep bars that releate to Oddworld?

These new rep bars are awesome! Definately much better than the old ones.

1) I agree with the comment about using the post icon images. Even if you have to shrink them, they'll still be less blurry.
2) We need a new poll response for 'I think they look stupid, but I'll probably get used to them'.
3) Either that or 'I find the alteration jarring, but that's because I'm a cissy who's frightened of change'.
4) Or just 'That's progress'.

To be honest, I'm not sure it's going to be possible to have different faces - I'd recommend just recolouring the one face for the different uses.

Hey, how about converting the OWI icon (http://www.oddworldforums.net/images...tar-member.gif) into some rep icons? Would be easy enough to recolour, and it's relatively close to the right size.
